Like the determined team we know Vox Machina to be, Prime Video’s animated adventure returns with just as much bravado as its scrappy heroes, delivering another action-packed season with a charm that is impossible to resist (though you can certainly try).

Though the season stumbles at first, the changes it makes to the source material ultimately yield a triumph of adaptation. The last six episodes have that familiar Critical Role flavor, but there’s a freshness there, too – even if you've already seen the live streams that inspired the show.

While the frustrating juggle between various dramatic character arcs and narratives accounts for the show’s biggest flaw, the satisfying ending certainly atones for those sins, with the series rounding off on a much more optimistic and hopeful tone than the original livestream campaign.

Again, a very entertaining season. „Do they fight, or do they f…?“ How could I critizise this?

Ouch, this went from being 10 to a 6 really quick. Almost ruined by the whole "female doesn't feel heard" thing, gross romances, and time spent on extra characters who aren't part of the group. I hope the next season is an improvement.

HORRIBLE: the extremely badly written weekday afternoon soap opera around the dalliances, "romances" and "realtionships" BAD: the too hastily/easily settled/preposterous side-quests (Scanlan, Percy etc). The one in Hell was particularly unscarry, unimaginative and sloppy. Even the necessary knee-bending to the woke religion was not nearly as annoying. GOOD: the light-hearted humour, the Boss battle and one villain's arc Overall: a very marked drop in quality

A pathetically veiled attempt to stimulate a left-leaning political narrative, in the guise of expression through art. You see it on the news, you hear it from your neighbor, and now it's infiltrated this show. In the wonderful world of fiction, the writers can find no inspiration besides what they attach to their own political identity? Please, leave us the f*** alone, and tell a story without an inherent narrative that involves your worldview. You can tell the plot development is spiraling from a lack of direction. The usual tropes are now irritating, like the friend who has restated the same joke for the past three hours a hundred different ways.
