Excellent TV show. Unpretentious, just the right length with a maximum episode duration of 30 minutes, a well-integrated cast, although I'm not a big fan of Steve Carell's style of humor, he gave a great performance and captivated me with the character Greg. The script strikes the right balance between drama and comedy. I loved the college setting and the winter. A TV show that I would definitely watch many times. Looking forward to the second season. HBO scored a goal with this series.I loved it.

Watching Rooster is almost like starting a new series and realizing within the first 15 minutes that Bill Lawrence is clearly still stuck in the same emotional universe as Ted Lasso and Shrinking. And honestly? Maybe that’s not even a **** sense of déjà vu is constant. The fast-paced dialogue, the emotionally broken but lovable characters, the moments of humor followed by existential musings… everything here feels extremely familiar. Except that the formula still works very well.Much of this comes from the cast, especially Steve Carell, who fits perfectly into this kind of comforting dramedy. There’s something almost **** about the way the series turns everyday problems into small emotional crises with an indie soundtrack playing in the **** may not reinvent anything. But few recent series manage to be so cozy without feeling artificial.
