The series does an expert job unpacking the ins and outs of the three-month-long trial. .... What’s most significant is Green’s ability to showcase how the trial wasn’t going to be “fair” on either side.

There’s not much, if anything, new in director Nick Green’s two-and-a-half-hour series. .... But The Verdict walks viewers through the tangle of Jackson’s court case with a steady hand and clear eyes, making it essential viewing for anyone who’s curious about what Michael left out.

This excellent documentary helped to clarify many things about how Michael Jackson manipulated his victims and their families.

The documentary is very good, showing both the prosecution and defense sides. His fans are only giving it a bad review because it's showing all the dirt in Michael's life that they try to hide, and all his fanatical fans know how to say is that everyone is a crook and after money, but an innocent person wouldn't pay 23 million in '93 to avoid jail.

Michael Jackson: The Verdict does a solid job of delving into the details of its subject’s darkest era, but at just three episodes, even its interrogative approach doesn’t feel like enough to unpack such a complex legacy.

It is both emotional, but also somewhat bloodless and distanced. .... It is methodical, clinical and complete. .... It is a spectacle more than a revelation. .... It seems clear that neither the film "Michael" nor the documentary "Verdict" will change the minds of anyone.

Perhaps the saddest thing is that a genuinely unsettling situation has been rendered dull by endless repetition – to the extent that the most interesting thing about this documentary is who they got to appear in it.

There is nothing inherently wrong with Michael Jackson: The Verdict. It’s a well-made docuseries that tries to show both sides of Jackson’s molestation trial. But it also feels completely unnecessary.

Wow. Did MJ come back from the dead and direct this? Pretty one-sided. I dont know much but I believe he did molest multiple kids. His family lawyer is a pos as are most of the people who worked foe him. At the end of the day, there's no one to root for. The kids are tragic victims of both Jackson and his staff and their own parents. The media is slightly less disgusting than MJ, but still disgusting. Nobody wins in this. We all just got exposed to the worst of celebrity, media, and the law.

Attacking a man behind his back is one thing. Attacking him after he's in the grave is something else entirely. It's tasteless, disrespectful, and a reflection of poor character. You should be ashamed of such shallow creativity. Profiting from hatred and fueling the worst parts of humanity just to make a dollar is truly sickening.

Shameful and dishonest. A one-sided production that prioritizes controversy over facts. Michael Jackson was acquitted on all charges in 2005, yet this documentary treats allegations as if the legal outcome barely matters. It feels less like journalism and more like exploitation. Deeply misleading and extremely disappointing.
