[ENG] Score: 7.3/10 Daredevil is one of Marvel's strongest live-action TV series, mainly thanks to its grounded tone, excellent action choreography, and memorable performances. Charlie Cox is outstanding as Matt Murdock, while Vincent D'Onofrio delivers an intimidating and complex **** series shines whenever it focuses on its street-level conflicts, moral dilemmas, and brutal hand-to-hand combat. Some fight scenes are genuinely impressive and remain among the best ever produced in a superhero show. However, I found the pacing inconsistent. Several episodes contain unnecessary filler, repetitive dialogue, and subplots that slow down the main story. While Season 3 is the strongest overall, the first two seasons have noticeable ups and downs, with a few episodes feeling much weaker than others. Despite these flaws, the characters, performances, and darker atmosphere keep the series engaging from beginning to end.

Daredevil is the best Netflix Marvel series. Season 1 is my least favourite with some over intense performances, but it laid the foundations for the rest. Season 2 is a step up, especially because of Frank. Season 3 came back with Fisk, but I enjoyed him much more this time and I also loved the new characters. Overall it's a very strong show that I already want to rewatch.

Daredevil was, from the start, one of Marvel and Netflix’s boldest moves, and with each season it hasn’t just kept the bar high — it has raised it. Dark, elegant, and brutal, this series achieves something few in the genre can: it has soul. The first season hit hard, the second dared to complicate things with Punisher and Elektra, but it’s in the third where it truly shines. The return of Wilson Fisk — the imposing Kingpin — turns every episode into a tense, captivating chess match.Charlie Cox remains the perfect Daredevil. He gives the character just the right mix of pain, determination, and belief in justice. But a big part of the credit goes to Vincent D’Onofrio. His Kingpin is a restrained beast, a villain who doesn’t need to raise his voice to be terrifying, and whose mere gaze is enough to chill your blood. From the first moment, you hope something finally stops him. That’s not done with special effects — that’s pure talent.Narratively, the show recovers that introspective, almost spiritual tone that made the first season so special. It’s not all about action (though the fight scenes, as always, are choreographed with enviable precision and rawness); it’s also about doubt, downfall, and moral dilemmas. Matt Murdock’s inner conflict runs deeper than ever, and that enriches everything around it.This third season also introduces new characters who genuinely add to the story. The plot flows without distractions or the kind of filler that often bogs down other superhero series. Everything moves toward a clear destination — and that’s **** may not be a perfect show, but it knows exactly what it wants to say and how to say it. It’s mature, bold, and refuses to stick to the formula. It’s undoubtedly one of the best Marvel adaptations on TV — not just entertaining, but unforgettable.

I really like this series; I think it's one of the best things Marvel has made for adults. It's dark, but with purpose. It's very well written, and the cast is impeccable. All three seasons are great, and it's one of the few series I've felt compelled to watch a second time.

I have been trying to watch season 2 because there is a new daredevil show coming out. It has been a slog that's lasted months. It's like taking medicine. Season 1 was not great, but it was at least watchable. Season 2 is unwatchable, it's cringe, it's just... BAD. Every episode is way too long, every scene is way too long, and the dialogue is godawful. There are too many characters, too many storylines, and none of them are interesting. Yes, it's depressing, it's gritty, there are guns and bullets and blood, but this is not The Wire by a long shot. And that's before the immortal ninjas show up. There are potentially interesting ideas here. Daredevil's conflicted about whether the Punisher killing gangsters is OK. Then Daredevil's conflicted about whether representing a gangster killer is OK, and whether the death penalty is OK. But it's dealt with in the most hamfisted way possible, and rushed through. Because the courtroom stuff is deemed too boring, Daredevil runs off to fight immortal ninjas. What do the immortal ninjas want with a 10-block area of Manhattan? What's their motivation? SHHH.

Charlie Cox as the titular Daredevil/Matt Murdock is phenomenal. He is absolutely class in this career-defining role, and provides one of my most loved performances of all time. Playing a blind character is not an easy task, yet Cox really excels here. It was lovely to learn of the lengths he went to to ensure he gave this character justice - Cox spent a lot of time working with charities for the blind in New York to perfect his performance of Murdock and to ensure he bought this character to screen with as much authenticity and care as possible. Cox also succeeds in effortlessly blending the loveable, and often times vulnerable, characteristics of Murdock with the ruthless devil. While Cox in undeniably the star, praise must also fall on Deborah Ann Wolf as Karen and Elden Henson as Foggy. Daredevil would not be Daredevil if it wasn’t for these two amazing supporting characters who shine in their own right and carry some of the shows most important storylines. A positive for Daredevil is its structure - Season 1 has 13 episodes with every episode having at least a 45 minute runtime. This lengthy run ensures you have adequate time to develop and flesh out every character allowing you to care deeply for them. Every character has good development not only across Season 1, but the entire 3 season run as a whole. The intensity of the action is never dropped, and the pacing is brisk throughout the whole season. There is also ample set up and pay off which is very satisfying. Something else that works in Daredevil’s favour is the action sequences. There are big action set-pieces in almost every episode (something which undeniably helps the pacing), and this keeps you invested in the story. Every fight, every mission is full to the brim with angst, rage, ambition and heart. The combat scenes in particular have incredible choreography and the stunts are some of the best I have ever seen in Marvel TV, possibly even the MCU as a whole. In conclusion, Daredevil Season 1 is a perfect season of television. Incredible characters, an interesting and intriguing story, and impeccable action sequences (the hallway fight scene deserves the 10/10 score alone) makes for a mean first season of a show. I love Daredevil!

The Daredevil show I always wanted growing up. Daredevil's always been my number 2 superhero after Spider-Man, with my earliest memories of the character being his appearance in the 1994 Spider Man show. After that, the Affleck movie with Garner as Elektra, and I remember wishing they'd do a show about it instead of a new film, unfortunately we got neither. Either way, Charlie Cox embodies the role of Murdock and Daredevil in a way that is comparable to Jackman as Wolverine. So so so perfect in the role. Each season develops the character and his feud with Fisk in a satisfying way, with strong supporting characters in Foggy and Karen. The inclusion of other Defenders' characters is kept minor, with the Punisher having a backdoor pilot for a spin-off show in a compelling way. Fisk, Nobu, and Bullseye are fantastic enemies, and I enjoyed this take on Elektra. Plus, this show is iconic for creating the craze for hallway fights. True story.

i personally think this show is extremely overrated. it acts like it's telling a deep complex story but it's really don't, the casting decisions are questionable like casting a French actress - Elodie Yung to play as Elektra, but her accent is what takes me out of the show so i couldn't invest in her. Jen Gardner is still and always be my definitive live action Elektra, she's still the person that i envision when reading Elektra comics and jen is a much better actress as well. Elodie is the gal Godot to Elektra she can't act, she can't develop an American accent like other foreign actors and actresses like the Scottish actor James McAvoy and countless other better actors and actresses and just poorly casted for the role, she doesn't even look like Elektra. just many other problems like this plague the show. the show reuses rejected concept designs from 2003 daredevil film like the shirt the covers half of his face if u have 2003's daredevil movie in the special features: making daredevil and creating daredevil documentaries; alot of the earlier designs made it into this show. bullseye costume looks like a exact replica of daredevil just in in blue shading and a bullseyes logo above his head it cheap and lazy nothing stands out and when they're fighting each other in the dark u can't tell who's who. and its way too serious there's no time to breathe and bond with the characters. this show is like the danial criag's 007 to daredevil nobody seems to be in character. there's nothing relatable about this version, when compared to the to 2003's daredevil and its sets up shows of other characters that has nothing to do with the story and the plot of the episodes just like modern mcu how it sets up future projects for other characters. i don't like the cast alot of them are miscast and don't portray the character properly. there's one scene of Charlie cox tossing away his cane and running in high speed, u know the signature weapon of daredevil u know, the same weapon that he uses to blend in and uses as a grapple hooking to swing across buildings to buildings just little things that's out of character takes me out of the show and roll my eyes to.

Soooo incredibly boring. 10 mins on average of action for 45 mins of bland dialogue. Way too much time spent with Foggy and Karen who are as fun to watch as paint drying. This would be better if produced as a 30 min program instead of trying to justify being an hour long. The second season picks up with the introduction of The Punisher but quickly regresses to it's familiar antics. If the pacing were better it would be a great show

Amazing show with truly realistic characters. The emotional struggles every character goes through is gripping. The main character is a struggling Catholic who finds catharsis in beating criminals up. How compelling is that? There are whole episodes dedicated to exploring the relationships between the three main characters. Matt, Foggy and Karen. The show also explores into the morality of vigilantes and the right or lack there off to kill, and so much more. The villains are also truly intimidating and give you the feeling that he stakes of the game and the plot can change at any second. The action is amazing too!

I binge watched all the three seasons of Daredevil and completed the entire show in just 2 days. Now you may ask, "But how did you finish it in 2 days? Each season has 13 episodes each being at least 1 hour long, so you needed around 40 hours to watch it. And considering you have to sleep for 8 hours that's exactly 40 hours!" To which I reply, "That's right! I didn't even eat or drink or sleep to watch it." Just kidding. I watched it at 1.5x speed whenever the talking scenes used to come. But either way the point remains that I finished it in a couple of sittings because I liked it so much. As a kid I had played the 2000 Spider-Man game. There was a brief cutscene where Daredevil was shown, so that was literally all I knew about Daredevil. There was nothing else that I knew about him. So anything that this show showed me about Daredevil, I completely trusted it with a blind eye. Often this is a very bad way of learning about any comicbook adaptation, since many times they make a bad adaptation like Ghost Rider or Fant4stic and we are left with no choice but to accept it. But this one is absolutely sick. We are introduced to Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer who has trained himself into being a crime fighter. And he uses his skills to fight criminals. But unlike regular superheroes he doesn't have a superhero costume yet. He is only covering his face so that no one sees him. In the end of the 2nd episode of Season 1 we are shown how he single handedly fights an entire building of bad guys to save a child. It's one of the most realistic looking fight scenes from any superhero TV show. And Charlie Cox plays his role so well you can actually feel he's blind. In the end of season 1 he finally gets his costume, he fights Kingpin and gets him sent to jail. Now the reason why Season 2 wasn't all that good (although I was hoping it to be better than Season 1 since now he had a costume and allies) was because now the shared universe began to get built. Shows like Punisher, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones had to be introduced because of which Daredevil's content started falling. Now he was more into Elektra and Punisher instead of doing what he always did. His bestie began hating him for hiding his identity, his girl left him, but overall it wasn't a bad season. It just wasn't as good as the previous one. Then in Season 3 it came back to its mark, now that Defenders was over. We could focus back on the titular hero. And this time he completely annihilates Kingpin. This series had the best conclusion. It's a good thing they knew exactly where to stop. And even after 7 years it has aged so well. Although it's nowhere in my top 5 favourite superhero shows anymore, I shall forever remember it to be the superhero show that changed all superhero shows.

Daredevil is such a well cast, riveting series that stays faithful to the original comic book character. Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio give such good performances that creates this great dynamic between the two throughout the entire series. Sad to see it end after 3 seasons.

How the hell does Marvel's Daredevil only have a 6.3 user score? That's preposterous. This is a great series. The choreography for the fight scenes is top-notch. There are some amazing hallway combat scenes. Solid performance from the actors across the board, especially Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays a fantastic villain. I'm still sad they canceled it (and the other Netflix Marvel series).

The series is an absolute masterpiece! the growth for these characters is incredible! I think the best season out of the 3 is season 3! when Bullseye enters a scene it is so tense! Fisk is an intimidating villain in all 3 seasons! Matt is an **** but an **** you can sympathize with, Foggy and Karen are not just characters who don't give a **** they actually have arcs, and whatever Matt does it affects them in general. the story is a masterpiece, the music is a masterpiece, the cinematography is a masterpiece. The only problem with the series is the other half of season 2 but that's it! so what are you waiting for?? go watch this series now! 9/10 would recommend

This show understands it's material so damn well. From Matt Murdock's complicated catholic faith to Wilson Fisk's troubled abusive relationship with his father. It's a show fully character driven it takes it's sweet time setting up all the stakes to a satisfying brutal showdown. The fight scenes are amazingly well choreographed. The cinematography stellar while the score really fits the dark menacing theme that the show presents. One of Netflix's best show's without a doubt.

A fantastically crafted show about the two sides of daredevil's life, and how one impacts the other. All the characters engage and thrive, especially Charlie Cox as the title character, who brings an incredible performance. The action scenes are beautifully choreographed. It's just a shame that the main antagonist by the end of the final season feels stale. Bernthal as the Punisher greatly impresses, however.

Daredevil is a fine series co-produced by Marvel and Netflix. Initially, Netflix began getting to know Marvel 's film family with Luke Cage. Only Daredevil is a completely different level, even though it is the first series in the movie universe. The main advantage of the plot is the realism of events.
