Tn its third season, this former CBS show retains the fundamental forward momentum of a network procedural, even when it merrily throws the formula out the window. ... So many horrible things keep happening on Evil, yet everyone always seems to be having fun. Joy this nasty is positively blasphemous.

Excellent. ... This is one of the smartest programs on TV, a show that’s constantly surprising viewers in a way that's like nothing else on the air right now.

I'm astonished to see this show being review-bombed. If you have a strong negative reaction to the portrayal of evil in the form of greedy, insidious, immoral beings organizing to promote their own prosperity over the wellbeing of everyone else, you may want to take a closer look at your own belief system and those of the people and organizations you align yourself with.

Imo the best show on TV. Entertains with fright, humor and exploration of issues, without being preachy or political. The first season which aired on CBS is good, but the next two seasons on Paramount+ are exceptional with the freedoms afforded. Stellar, sexy cast, writing is flawless, created by team responsible for The Good Wife.

I'm firmly convinced that no other show out there is doing it exactly like Evil, and three seasons in, that still remains true.

Without losing the show’s main thread, “Evil” can dip into spy thriller, disaster story, headline response, or, yes, horror tale with an ease that gets more impressive with each passing episode.

The A.V. Club
Despite a lack of answers (at least in the first trio of installments), several unfinished storylines return in promising form. The cast is top-notch, and there’s never a dull moment thanks to smorgasbord of horny demons.

In its third season, Paramount+’s Evil (formerly of CBS) remains one of the most clever, witty, and cerebral horror television series, period.

Evil continues its smart combination of weekly cases with strong character arcs, all with the Kings’ dry sense of humor intact throughout the first episode of Season 3.

I love everything about it. The acting, the stories, the twists. I binge season 2 and 3 and can't wait for season 4.

The show is great except for David’s excessive racism and the show is definitely geared toward the left. Democrats need to leave tv alone.

This is only interesting if you already have been inundated with religious nonsense your whole life. I can see that is the case for most. If not, it plays as dopey and super super fake. Maybe it should focus more on why millions of kids are **** by the church and the superiors cover it up AND promote child rapists. What's the mysterious aspect to those things happening for the past century? That might be a more interesting mystery to unravel, no? Religious nonsense is religious nonsense, y'all! It's just sad how so many religions promote lies and fantasy, while also attacking women and children. It's a sick institution. Figure out THAT mystery.
