Fans won’t be disappointed. Season two continues to build on themes of class oppression, state-sanctioned violence, and found family while maneuvering its characters ever deeper into the moral gray.

Themes of self-identity and interpersonal relationships continue to be the driving force that keeps "Arcane"'s storytelling poignant and captivating. Regardless of their ethical beliefs, each character is portrayed with intricate humanistic traits, making their emotionally motivated actions feel genuine.

We'll have to wait to see how Act III resolves the many plot threads as well as where the characters end up, but for now, the first six episodes of Arcane season 2 build on the masterpiece that was season one.

As this second season pinballs between stylish action sequences, bittersweet tragedy, and messianic imagery, it balances these tones through snappy editing and a general panache. While we’re still waiting on the last three episodes to see if everything coalesces, at least so far, this series hasn’t lost an ounce of its magic.

Arcane continues its considerable dramatic momentum from the first season.

A powerful Act II is the strongest part of Arcane’s second and final season. The storytelling is as subtle as a magic-powered gauntlet to the head, but, paradoxically, that’s part of its maximalist charm — a show which still feels capable of being anything at any moment.

Arcane Season 2 proves that it was worth the long wait, further delivering on everything that made us fall in love with the series in the first place as the first two acts tease a satisfying, albeit devastating, end to the story of Vi and Jinx.

The best animated show ever made and also the prettiest one as well. I recommend watching both seasons back to back for the best viewing since S2 contains a lot of parallels to scenes that occurred in S1. It has a killer soundtrack as well.

What's with shows in the 2020's having good First seasons and then kind of crapping the bed with Season 2?! To be fair S2 is watchable, it's just not the incredible and emotional character driven roller coaster that S1 is, they cut all that out in favor of battles and a slew of unnecessary characters.

I'm at episode 8/9, and I have little to no idea about what's going on or why any protagonists do any of what they're doing. It's irritating. Animation is amazing.
