One of the children's animations from the 90's that pioneered something different from the norm. It pushed the envelope of standardized television in its time using a combination of various types of humour geared towards both adults and children, surprisingly intelligent at times, and a tradition of television watching for those who grew up through the nineties.

Animaniacs is one amusing animated series that is enjoyable for both kids and adults. The show started really strong in the first season with a great animation production, a talented voice cast and well crafted writing and music scores within each and every episode. These cast of charming characters like the Warner Bros. (and Warner sister), Pinky and the Brain, Slappy Squirrel and the rest of the crew made the shorts entertaining and even educate as well such as the Warner kids helping Michelangelo paint a ceiling in the sistine chapel or Yakko Warner singingly listing the nations around the world in a style of the Mexican Hat Dance. How can you not find that enjoyable? With hilarity and wacky comedy shorts and songs (though got away with some innuendo content for a family show), Animaniacs is a must show that all ages will enjoy, especially the first season.
