The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales80
Jun 17, 2026
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is a solid and captivating action RPG, combining the charm of 2D HD with an adventure structure clearly inspired by the classic Legend of Zelda games. The exploration works, the bosses are well-crafted, and the relationship between Elliot and Faie gives the journey personality. The experience is held back by a certain repetitiveness related to time travel, uninspired side quests, and inconsistent inventory management. However, it remains an enjoyable, well-crafted adventure, recommended for fans of classic action RPGs.

NBA The Run76
Jun 15, 2026
NBA THE RUN manages to achieve its main goal: entertaining players while remaining easy to pick up and accessible to everyone. The gameplay is engaging, the roster of NBA superstars is just the right size, and the random rule selection system is a very well-executed addition. Unfortunately, it suffers from a few issues: the lack of single-player modes and a “Quick Match” format, as well as a lower-than-expected amount of pure streetball action, which is likely what many players were hoping for. It is therefore not a revolutionary title for sports games, but it deserves credit for bringing basketball fans back to a playground-focused experience that has been missing for quite some time.

Tales of Seikyu70
Jun 15, 2026
We certainly did not dislike our time with Tales of Seikyu, but neither can we say that it truly impressed us. Fans of cozy life simulators who have already spent countless hours with titles such as Stardew Valley and its many contemporaries may find something to pique their interest here. However, with new games in the genre being released at a relentless pace, we believe it takes more than a single transformation mechanic to convince players that this title deserves greater attention than its many competitors.

Gothic 1 Remake75
Jun 5, 2026
The Gothic Remake is a sincere labor of love dedicated to one of the pillars of Western role-playing games. Alkimia Interactive accomplishes an incredibly difficult task: it modernizes the combat system and expands the narrative, while keeping strictly intact the ruthless, raw, and punishing soul that made the 2001 classic immortal. Unfortunately, hindering this fascinating return to the Colony is a faltering technical performance, plagued by system crashes and mediocre optimization. It is a title with heart that pays homage to the original and boasts an unaltered charm. It is highly recommended to both veterans and newcomers alike, provided you have the patience to endure the heavy stuttering of the graphics engine or are willing to wait for the inevitable corrective patches.

eFootball Kick-Off!70
Jun 3, 2026
eFootball Kick-Off! marks the long-awaited return of Konami football to Nintendo shores after more than a decade of absence, offering an unusual yet appreciated offline, premium formula that breaks away from the live-service model. However, despite a consistently enjoyable core gameplay and a budget-friendly entry price, the content offering proves to be too weak; between bare-bones customization and a World Tour mode that loses its bite as soon as you max out your team, the title struggles to keep players hooked for more than ten hours. Ultimately, it ends up feeling more like a prolonged tutorial for newcomers rather than a true standalone single-player football game.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth85
Jun 2, 2026
It’s not the excellent conversion that Remake was, it has many graphical compromises, but even Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth can show its teeth on Nintendo Switch 2. Despite the inevitable limitations of porting a game released just two years ago on PS5, Rebirth remains a spectacular title, one of the best RPGs of the generation, and now also perfectly playable on the go.

007 First Light85
Jun 2, 2026
007 First Light got off to a rocky start: IO Interactive’s departure from the Hitman franchise and a lackluster marketing campaign had fueled low expectations, which were promptly dashed. The game proves to be an excellent action game and, above all, a faithful yet original portrait of a new James Bond—young, developing, and perfectly placed in the present. From a purely gameplay perspective, the blend of Hitman and Uncharted works, driven by a pace that seamlessly alternates action, stealth, and cinematic direction. A few naivetés—slow enemies, tricky mechanics—and a solid technical framework in terms of frame rate, but not up to par with the excellence of the models and animations, dampen the momentum. The result is a very successful and highly recommended title, which only needs some final polish to make the leap.

Realm of Ink75
May 31, 2026
Realm of Ink is an elegant and deep action roguelite, combining visual beauty with a good amount of mechanical variety. It’s not without its flaws: the narrative could have been more compelling, the difficulty more balanced, and some early stages less dependent on luck. However, the combat system, the richness of the build options, and the gorgeous art style make it a recommended title for fans of the genre.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book80
May 29, 2026
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a video game that seems almost difficult to pin down. It has a unique concept: each creature behaves differently and has unique abilities, and Yoshi must discover them without knowing anything. It’s brilliant, because it encourages exploration. On the other hand, discovering everything about these creatures leads nowhere. It’s as if a potentially great adventure lacks a final goal, and instead settles for being good.

Echo Generation 279
May 28, 2026
Echo Generation 2 is an update of the first game: capable of giving a more mature identity, thanks to a sci-fi setting with references to the ’80s and ’90s and a rather interesting storyline. The game is supported by a new combat system, which combines the classic turn-based system with deckbuilding. Cococucumber managed to create a more dynamic and unpredictable gameplay. All of this is seasoned with a high-level artistic component, thanks to the wise use of voxel art.
