Wish Dragon

A lot of the plot elements feel overly familiar, but in the few moments where the movie transcends those trappings, it’s a fun, memorable romp.

Wish Dragon delivers a whole new world, a new fantastic point of view, and that’s plenty.

A simple, cute, unoriginal animated film that seldom impresses, but still warms your heart a little.

While the film does take its time stepping out on its own and out of the shadows of Aladdin and its "tale as old as time" story (Long's own words), Wish Dragon is a heartwarming, charming film with a great message and lovely characters.

The moral of the story, “the power of human friendship,” must have taken 33 seconds to come up with. But some of the sight gags — Long disguising himself as human, the two of them escaping the bad guys by donning a dragon parade costume — are a stitch.

Wish Dragon is a transporting experience, but it’s far from a whole new world.

Very good movie. It idd reminds me of Aladdin, but that is a good thing. If critics give it a mower score for it, i definitely do NOT agree with them

I loved this movie way more than I expected to, definitely worth checking out.

There are some genuine funny moments in this. It’s a mediocre movie all around but it certainly isn’t a bad movie.
