I cried at the end and almost cried throughout this movie and it is... the best family movie I think will be made this century I would give this 100 if I could. It's just that good I've never read the books but this will make me. Genuinely watch this it's a instant classic and I dare say just as or better than Puss in Boots the Last Wish. Just plea if you haven't watch this movie.

What a lovely movie with many emotions. But be prepared, not everything is easy to watch. I love the art style of the movie.

I begun watching this movie with moderate expectations, was drinking a beer ,chilling , then somewhere around the middle of its runtime the migration scene started playing and I literally got covered in tears. Once the scene was over ,I paused the movie and it hit me that I've just witnessed something special.
Absolute masterclass of a scene, and the movie builds up to it beautifully Rest of it kind of falls off ,but I do not care

Minimum 75 charactersThe Wild Robot really surprised me with how gentle and beautifully put together it is. It’s one of those movies that doesn’t try to be loud or overly dramatic — it just builds this calm little world and lets you settle into it. The animation has this soft, storybook feeling that makes everything look alive without being flashy. What stuck with me most was the atmosphere. There’s something really cozy about watching Roz slowly figure out how to belong in a place that’s nothing like her. Even without spoilers, you can feel how the movie balances adventure with quieter emotional moments, and that mix works incredibly well. The animal characters add a lot of charm, and Roz’s relationship with them feels natural and genuinely ****’s the kind of film that leaves you with a warm, peaceful feeling when it’s over. For me, a 9/10 makes perfect sense — simple, heartfelt, and surprisingly memorable.

The Wild Robot was unlike any DreamWorks film I've seen. The animation is INCREDIBLY beautiful, the story is just amazing, and the voice acting is phenomenal. I know How to Train your dragon is already amazing, but come on! The Wild Robot is on a whole other level.

It's an amazing experience from start to finish. The story draws you in with how coming together through differences can make a strange but very beautiful family. The animation alone speaks volumes to the passion and love that the creators of this film put into it, and the music grips every emotional part of you and takes your heart for a ride that you’ll not soon forget. Please watch this movie!!

"The Wild Robot" is a touching, masterful interpretation and expansion of the original prose works by Peter Brown. Sanders crafts a story that compels the audience along an unlikely journey, in a movie that is feel-good, but unique in the raw and unfiltered emotions it evokes. From soundtrack to art, "The Wild Robot" is a masterclass in animation, music, and character. Kris Bowers brings iconic scenes to life with emotional pieces such as "I Could Use a Boost." To be able to craft such emotional depth with animated, non-human characters is just extraordinary.

I don’t know WHO has decided that this movie is good but they, and all of the critics following, are wrong. The soundtrack lacks any sort of emotion, with arpeggios at every moment of supposed feeling and the same tired melody over and over again. Where are the motifs to make you feel connected to a character? Where are the moment of tension for the audience to decide how they feel? There are none. And please can we JUST take a moment to acknowledge the pop song that they shoved into the middle of the movie that is THE most generic and boring song in the world? C’mon. Dreamworks? Nah. Remember Spirit? THAT is how you do storytelling pop music. The script? Ergh. Not the worst thing about it, but the short quips and average story telling leads to a basic a predictable plot. Again, the audience is given no time to question or wonder because the plot is SHOVING it into your face. Please give me a moment to think will ya. I wanted to experience a variety of emotions, not just “oh isn’t it important that robots can have feelings”. We’ve given it a 3, because the visuals are absolutely stunning and we want to give them credit, but if the animation team hadn’t been working their asses off this would have been a one. Also the voice acting wasn’t bad because they got a STACKED cast, but it’s no over the hedge. I know, I’m not a professional, but I really think someone higher up decided that people were gonna like this movie and now everyone is just playing along. In my, non important, opinion. This movie is bad. Go watch How To Train Your Dragon, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, or Wall-e (aka the only robot movie we needed to give us a message).

Great movie for the whole family. Fun, action, emotion, setting it a little weird and unexplored on a grander scale but overall a very enjoyable movie.

The Wild Robot is a stunning animated film that weaves together breathtaking visuals, emotional depth, and profound storytelling. At its heart is Roz, a robot whose journey of survival, community, and purpose is both moving and inspiring. The animation is mesmerizing, with each frame feeling like a living work of art. The voice cast, led by Lupita Nyong’o, brings a genuine warmth to every character, while the film’s themes of resilience and collaboration resonate deeply with audiences of all ages. It’s a rare cinematic experience that reminds us of the power of storytelling to connect, inspire, and move us.

Well regarded animated movie is surprisingly moving and well made. However, I felt that the plot moves quite slowly and not as good as well as I felt it should have been.

One of the most beautiful and emotional animations I've ever seen. The art was very beautiful and special. It reminded me of The Little Prince. Well done, DreamWorks, always.

This is a beautifully animated and humorous romp in which a robot in the near future ends up finding a family amongst animals in the wilderness.

The constituent parts work well - the animation, the music - but the story is lacking. It's disjointed, with no real follow-through from beginning to end. It feels more like 3 episodes of a TV show than three acts of a movie. It's somewhere between a drama and a comedy. You can tell when it's trying to be funny, but it doesn't often succeed. You will smile or chuckle, you won't laugh out loud. The drama is, well, predictable. You will not be surprised when your underdog wins the race. The tone is awkward. It attempts to have a 'serious' message while being an inherently goofy talking animal movie. There's a handful of brief, silent shots that say humans can't work together to save their own habitat, but an entire act showing that animals whose instinct is to eat each other will cast that aside and cooperate when they're under collective threat. The contrast is bewildering, unbelievable, and condescending. If the human audience is supposed to identify with the animals over the human characters, that's optimistic. The art is beautiful, the music is great, but the story is on par with your run-of-the-mill kids' movie, like a serious business version of Ron's Gone Wrong

Emotiva, divertida, diferente… Estos son algunos de los adjetivos que les podemos otorgar a una película que es, posiblemente, una de las mejores películas de animación que he visto en mucho tiempo

The Wild Robot is beautiful, both visually and emotionally. The star-studded cast delivers in this film about the struggle to fit in and the finding of oneself along the way. It is a must-watch for fans of stunning animation, inclusivity, and found family.

The Wild Robot follows Roz, a shipwrecked robot who finds herself stranded on a wilderness island, struggling to adapt to her unfamiliar surroundings. Programmed for efficiency, Roz unexpectedly takes on the role of caregiver, learning about love, sacrifice, and community along the way. As she navigates relationships with the island’s animals, Roz discovers that transformation requires going beyond her programming, mirroring the human journey of overcoming limitations through love and grace. The film explores themes of connection, selflessness, and the power of kindness in building a flourishing community. The story of The Wild Robot resonates deeply with the Christian journey. Just as Roz learns to go beyond her programming by loving, sacrificing, and embracing her role as a mother, we, too, are invited to transcend our limitations through the love of Christ. In a world that often values productivity over relationships, Roz’s transformation reveals that true salvation comes not from what we do, but from how we love. Her journey reminds us that healing happens through self-giving, and community flourishes when love prevails over survival instincts. Like Roz, our journey toward holiness is shaped by the sacrifices we make and the love we extend, even when it is difficult.

Ick. Sure animals eat other animals in the real world, but talking animals with personalities getting killed?
Definitely watch this before deciding if your kids should see it.
Oh, and the animation looks cheap. I know they were trying to mimic 2D art with 3D computer animation software, but it looked worse than either. It was like 1.5D or something.

The titular character (played with charm by Lupita Nyong'o) finds itself stranded on an island with a bunch of wild animals. She accidentally discovers a gosling, who imprints on her. The rest of the story has her helping this little bird (voiced by Kitt Connor) fulfill its potential. The character animation is continually clever (that robot alone is a marvel of design). There are lots of cute critters, esp. the fox (Padro Pascal) and the family of possums (led by mother Catherine O'Hara). The writing and direction by talented creator Chris Sanders is continually clever and ultimately sweet (although the final third does bog just a bit with the drama). The pace is mostly lively and there are continually funny gags spoken and seen. This is undoubtedly the best animated film I've seen this year and guaranteed fun for the entire family.

Watching The Wild Robot with my 6-year-old son was a truly magical experience. From the moment the movie started, we were completely transfixed. The storytelling was masterfully written, weaving together themes of adventure, friendship, and the beauty of nature in a way that felt both poignant and **** animation was stunning—every frame felt alive, and the attention to detail made the world of the movie feel real and immersive. But what truly made this film stand out was its heartwarming message about love, connection, and finding your place in the world, no matter how different you may feel. What amazed me most was seeing my son, who has never managed to sit through an entire movie, utterly mesmerized from start to finish. Watching him engage so deeply with the story, laughing at the funny moments and gasping at the suspenseful ones, was such a joy as a parent. It became more than just a movie—it was a shared journey that brought us closer **** you're looking for a movie that captivates both kids and adults while leaving you with a full heart, The Wild Robot is an absolute must-watch. It's a rare gem that will stay with you long after the credits roll. My son and I can’t stop talking about it, and I’m sure we’ll revisit it again soon!

The Wild Robot is an immensely charming, heartwarming film which elevates it's simple story to great heights. Visually, the movie looks spectacular and animation in specific sequences especially is incredible. The opening half-hour of the film, while still making for a decent beginning, felt a bit clunky and uneven at moments. However, from that moment on, everything clicks into gear and it turns into a beautiful tale of friendship, motherhood, and focuses on simple lessons told in a grand way. I felt at times the movie was relying too much on the direction and more technical elements to get viewers engaged, as the story was simple and didn't really delve into characters more than at surface level. But still, this movie was an amazing experience, and makes viewers fall in love with the characters and the story. The final 30 minutes give a huge payoff with the a mega action scene, making for a great spectacle and satisfying finale. The soundtrack, while I thought it was slightly generic in the beginning, is just beautifully used in the second half of the film. There is one particular scene which it sticks out, when Roz is teaching Brightbill how to fly, where the song, score and animation flow seamlessly together, making for one of the best sequences in animation in recent years. Overall, The Wild Robot makes for a fascinating, emotional crowd-pleaser, which while thin on compelling story, makes for a captivating movie experience.

The plot that talks about how difficult motherhood can be is rarely deep, something not seen in many feature films. Plus all the scenes looked incredible with their immense color palette and contrasts. If you didn't see it when it was in theaters, my sincere condolences, what you missed. Besides we are all wondering what the hell is wrong with you Dreamwors? Early on you put out the garbage sequel to Megamind and then you put out this work of art. Without a doubt it deserves the highest rating. Without any doubts, the best movie of 2024.
