The Lady of Heaven

It is made with respect. It has educational value. But the film-makers, working with a modest budget, have made sure to include much head-splitting action.

With scores of faith-based films about Christianity hitting movie screens every year, the sheer novelty of The Lady of Heaven makes it worth seeing, just as background on a religion most of us know very little about. That’s where the film excels, even if the many obstacles the production had to get around distracted one and all to the extent that they somewhat botched the messaging.

For a film that aims to promote religious diversity and freedom of thought, its metronomic alternation between time frames, narrative slavishness and laughable coda have a suffocating sense of orthodoxy.

The film runs through plot points in appropriately spectacular, if mechanical, fashion. A shoddy script and an overwhelming reliance on clichés, however, make this would-be blockbuster feel incredibly cheap.

One of the best historical movie ever made. I am waiting The Lady of Heaven 2.

Nowadays, that some radical groups tend to show an cruel, frightens , villen picture and interview of Islam, this movie can tell us the Fact . It can disperate lies and right . Islam is a logical, peacful and ultra-aspects religious. Most important things is First character of #Lady_of_heaven is a Woman, Fatima and I thins is so interesting.

Watched the movie, and to summarize this movie: .Its a compilation of all extreme Twelver shia narratives into a movie, and includes persecution of shias as some screen to protect the producers and supporters of this film from opposition (not that i'm saying that shias are not persecuted) . Even if I'm to ignore all the blasphemous portrayals, events, etc in the movie it is still not good the plot is almost non-existent, and seeing actors dressed in Arabian clothes but speaking in fluent British english makes the movie unenjoyable . Contrary to its name, the movie gives less attention to Fatima (R.A), and more to Ali(R.A). And even then, they skipped many famous occasions in which Ali(R.A) is praised like sleeping in the Prophets bed the night the kuffar planned to kill him, his courageous duel in Badr and Khandaq, and his mightiness at Khaybar . And finally, the thing that outraged me the most was the depiction of the Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W)'s face i don't give 2 shoots that his face was created by CGI, depiction is depiction and this is against Islamic law, same for the companions (although there isnt much i can argue regarding the negative depictions of the companions Abu Bakr(R.A), Umar(R.A), etc. since the director is a Rafida turbaned clown who abuses the Sahabas on a daily basis as if it were his daily dose of medicine).

Absolute garbage hogwash with racist undertones. Save you money and intellect by not watching this waste of time created by a sect who are clearly racist

It is so bad and racist.. I CAN'T consider him as a good movie to represent the real face of islam.. Sorry
