The Amazing Spiderman 2 is better than the first one but by one more vote, with an excellent performance by Andrew and Emma, ​​a beautiful design of Electro but a badly written and ugly Harry Osborn even if I had spoiled the ending but it is heartbreaking. 8.5/10

It’s pretty entertaining movie. The first person swing camera and gaming inspired sence looks really good. Unfortunate the story is predictable and people are getting bored easily

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" (2014) in my opinion is the best Spider Man movie yet, and i enjoyed it much more than any of the Marvel studios created movies yet (though i haven't see "Guardians of the Galaxy 2014" yet) - you can already start throwing rocks at me. Why is it so good?At 2:20 h. running time i was captivated from first till last second. Ye, it was a bit cheesy at the end in the street fight with the kid stepping in, but overall, it's a hell of a entertainment. Great special effects sequences, absolutely marvelous chemistry between two leads Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, and very captivating plot - it's all works. Although the sequence in which J.Foxx becomes a villain (no spoilers here) was kinda lame, he was a cool villain. And what an ending! Bottom line. As i see here at IMDb that there are many who disliked the film, here is the last nail in my review - i will wait for 3rd installment of this franchise much more that i will wait for a sequel to any Marvel movie that i have seen yet - it is superb entertainment.

Nearly perfect in almost every single way for me personally. I was on the edge for almost every scene waiting to see what they pulled out next. I wasn't as much of a fan for some of the casting and character design but it world tonally for the rest of the movie and in the end it still leaves me wanting another chapter for this Spider-Man!

Yikes, what happened here? The villains are terrible, the story falls apart, dramatic parts are rather laughable. Harry is straight up garbage. I can at least appreciate that it doesn't take the usual "everything is great and will be solved" approach. After how good the previous film was, this is a huge downgrade from it.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is unfortunately a less enjoyable movie than its predecessor. I like the idea of a character Like Max, but I don't think he was well-executed. The themes are reoccurring and many character choices are infuriating. Thankfully in the end the writers pulled something I never thought they would. That saved the movie from being absolutely horrible. The directing got worse, Jamie Foxx's performance is terrible compared to the ones he gave before. The cinematography and editing are terrible. I couldn't see anything during the fight scenes, everything was too fast. The sound was awful, when Spider-Man was in the air it felt like hearing Andrew Garfield screaming in a booth, no sound of wind or anything else surrounding the scene. The score is cool, but doesn't always suit what's on screen. The acting performances were surprisingly bad. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone had their time to become the characters they play and they did, but almost everyone else was terrible. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is something that shouldn't have been let made. It did a few things better than the first one, but what it did worse made the movie unenjoyable.

Visually i think Marc Webb's did the most incredible and simply the best Spider-Man shot in every Spider-Man movie including now the three seperate live action movies and actors, and he still include those impressive shot in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, what flaws in this sequel was that compare to the first one, it just filled with weaker story, weaker performances, and just weaker villain, and it's quite disappointing overall.

Once again, I love these movies which causes my ratings to go against what most might say about them. This one was certainly disorganized, but so was The Amazing Spider-Man at this point in his life. Things seem to be falling apart and I think Andrew Garfield does that well, but I don't think the writers do, his anguish seemed rushed and there was much less Spider-Man dynamic that spurts into his interactions and life. The death of Gwen Stacy is truly a traumatic experience for me every single time, hahaha.

A confused, overstuffed follow-up effort that comes up strangely empty, given the classic stories contained within. ASM2 plays like a very good, well-intentioned script that was watered down and padded by too many cooks in the producers' kitchen. That results in a rough, inconsistent tone, which often parades directly from one plucky bit of light banter into a dark, brooding, heavy plot development, then turns back and tries to get silly again. Imagine if Adam West's Batman had rounded a corner in the 1960s and stumbled into Jack Nicholson's Joker parade from the first Tim Burton movie. It's a wasted effort from Andrew Garfield, who's as close as we've had to a perfect rendition of the wisecracking Spidey everyone knows from the comics. His rendition of Peter Parker could still use some work, feeling a bit too "bro" for me, but a strong, essential bond with Emma Stone - his Gwen Stacy - smooths over most of those ruffles. Jamie Foxx is a puzzling choice as his main foil, though, in a limp-wristed role that's more pitiable than fearsome. Still, they march him out to face a climactic fight scene, which rings as hollow and meaningless as the rest of his arc. More wasted acting chops. The film can be a visual treat, especially when we're sailing through the skies on a zipline and Spidey's contorting his body into all manner of inhuman poses ripped straight from the glossy covers. During the heat of battle, though, heavy doses of strobe, shakycam and jump-cuts can make it downright painful to keep up. I wanted to like this much more than I actually did. In all sorts of ways, it feels so much more authentic and grounded than the four efforts that came before, but it tries to do too much, drastically changing speeds and moods too often. Let's start over again, I guess.

The movie is dead average for most of the runtime. The villain is poorly designed, and the romance issues between Peter and Gwen aren't very interesting. However, the ending is awesome, and actions from the first film actually have consequences in this one.

The movie has many themes, weak evil and a bad story twist in Ranjeh. The film tries to keep the theme of time, responsibility and romance in balance, which falls flat on its head. It also wants to establish a balance between the moments of humor, epic, emotion, etc., which cannot be restored. What James Gunn did perfectly in Guardians of the Galaxy Did. Both the villains of the movie have weaknesses. Electro is a complex person who is easy to identify with, but neither his appearance nor his motivation to hurt people can be understood. Harry is also not loyal to the comics. That is, the person who has schizophrenia is superior and oppressed. Terin is a comic book patient, he has become a snarling teenager who kills Gwen! The ending movie makes up for the previous time. But in the comic world, Peter accidentally became Spider-Man. Here, it was revealed that his father's DNA sample was injected into those spiders!!! I think this is one of those blindspot movies? I have a ton of fun with and people who I trust say it's kind of bad. Ok the Green Goblin was kind of crappy. The film could of done without trying to build an expanding universe. Garfield is such a likeable actor for sure so maybe thats it? He is my personal draw for this movie.

Incredible how Sony never learns the lesson and packs a product that has practically the same flaws as Spider-Man 3. This time, there's not even Raimi's direction that can save it and the final twist on the fate of a character principal cannot be enough to save the film from inevitable failure.

Even tho I am more of a fan of the original Tobey Maguire Spider-man this one was nice. There are lots of twists, and great aesthetics, for its time the VFX is super realistic. We have an emotional understanding of Electro and we don't get the usual happy end which makes it intriguing

This is the definitive Spider-Man movie. So much depth and message that it just makes it good.

Film a mio parere bellissimo, livello di recitazione alto, la regia poteva essere migliore, ma quello che i critici non capiscono è il fatto che devono dare la colpa alla Sony, tutti lo criticano perché ha gettato troppe basi per il futuro che non si sono realizzate… ma il film è fantastico, la tuta di Peter è AMAZING e il rapporto che ha con Gwen si sente davvero, le colonne sonore sono inimmaginabili, il design di Electro originale, forse hanno fatto male ad introdurre Rhino ma anche il mini-combattimento con New Goblin è carino

Uma sequência com vários erros em relação aos vilões ao tentar apresentar muita coisa em pouco tempo, entretanto, olhando pelo lado bom, temos um elenco sensacional e bem atuado, melhores lutas e efeitos especiais de qualquer filme do Homem-Aranha, uma fotografia belíssima assim como o anterior, melhor uniforme do aranha, cena mais triste dos filmes de heróis, trilha sonora 10/10 e marcante.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an even bigger mess than Spider-Man 3. Like Spider-Man 3, this film has multiple unlikable villains that drag the plot all over the place. Unlike Spider-Man 3, it's also tasked with the unenviable position of setting up a Marvel-like cinematic universe comprised of only Spider-Man characters. If they tried (and failed) to recreate Batman Begins' success with the first Amazing Spider-Man, Sony wants the second one to be their Avengers-like payday. Every bit of it falls flat on its face.

Literally amazing! The feeling of being Spider-Man in several scenes, our involvement with the character, the scene with Rhino, everything was very well done. Too bad the villain is a little corny.

próbuje zrobić wszystko lepiej i mocniej niż poprzednia część co nie wychodzi mu to na dobre. Film cierpi najbardziej na nagromadzenie wątków bez rozwinięcia

Leider war das nicht wirklich was. Ansich sind die Stärken des Vorgängers wieder die da. Nur leider kommen alte Schwächen ebenfalls zurück. Dazu kommen leider noch weitere Schwächen. Größte Schwäche für mich sind die Bösewichte. Electro ist unfassbar schlecht geschrieben. Harry reiht sich direkt neben an. Was sie sich da ausgedacht haben war einfach nur furchtbar. Trotzdem muss ich zugute heißen, dass die Szene von Electro's ersten Auftrifft atemberaubend war. Das war es dann aber auch schon. Aber trotz aller Kritik liebe ich die starke Konsequenz am Ende des Films. Bei der Szene bleibt der Atem stehen. Egal wie man es dreht. Schlussendlich muss ich sagen. Ich finde ihn nicht schlecht.. aber auch nicht gut... schade.

Don't like the new suite. I prefer the amazing spider man 1 suite. Story is nice but not better than the first part.

What a absolutely horrible movie, the character designs are all awful, the story just feels like one big ad for the more movies, the ONLY good thing about this movie is the scene where Peter is trying to save MJ and even then the hands that forms from the web he shoots is super cringy.

Well, the villains in this film are the worst. It has a round story, but everything feels so artificial, the only thing that I felt it so natural was the scenes of Peter and Gwen, they have an excellent chemistry on screen. Also, it has very good visual effects and good action scenes and that is why this film is a little bit better that the first one.

Ok, I will be honest this movie is more rewatchable than the first one as I like the tone much better even though it doesn't match at all with the first. But the movie is a huge mess and is in my opinion the worst Spiderman movie ever made. There were like 15 storylines going on at once which unfortunately caused the villain not to be very well developed and they just feel like CGI and boring characters. Also, there are just unnecessary things that just needed to be cut.

This movie is visually impressive and beautiful for a 2014 release, while it has a few undeniable negatives, I believe that this movie is nowhere near as bad as the majority seems to think it is. The story is emotional, the action scenes are some of the best scenes I've literally ever seen in any movie, the original score perfectly compliments each scene in the movie. I especially like Electro's theme as well as the clock tower theme. Just simply a cinematic ride that left me craving a third installment, that was unfortunately canceled.
