A fine additions to Star Wars. We can see the signs now way easier that something is not okay with someone. What a great story.

Its alright, kinda overhated, Anakin and Padme scenes are kinda bad, but Obi-wans quest was pretty cool, and the battle of Genosis is so cool, the CGI has some problems though, but they did Yoda's CGI really well

Some people think its better than Phantom Menace, its not, in fact its the weakest of the first 2 trilogies (the real Star Wars movies), weak lead actors, poor pacing, and little to no momentum for most of the first 2/3 of the movie, definitely could have been better.

Star Wars Episode I is better than Star Wars Episode II................................

Greetings from Lithuania. "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones" (2002) is an entertaining and excellently made Star Wars film. I enjoyed it way more then "Phantom Menace". This one has improved acting, tighter directing, better pacing and the whole storytelling is a significant step up. The downsight of "Attack of the Clones" is an overuse of CGI, which in 2002 looked good, but now rewatching this film is 2025 on UHD release do look like from PS2 era. Why did they did clones themself even in close ups CGI is beyond me. I do remember explosions from "Empire Strikes Back" more vivid then any action set piece from "Attack of the Clones" - and it has nothing to do with nostalgia - practical effects will always be on the top. Other then that, this is a very fine film. It moves the story of a trilogy in a significant way. Music is incredible by John Williams.Overall, "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones" is a significant improvement over its predecessor. This is a good Star Wars film all around.

Quite simply put: THE WORST STAR WARS MOVIE EVER MADE. Atrocious dialogue and acting. The Slave 1 chase scene through the asteroid field is pretty damned good though when viewing at the cinema.

This movie gets far too much hate. It's a great film though not as great as the third one.

Anakin's continuing story brings us to something we have been waiting for almost 30 years to see - THE CLONE WARS! How Lucas could have foreshadowed the grand vision of the civil war that raged across a galaxy and gave us the greatest Jedi in the history of the Republic is breathtaking . . . which is probably why so much of Anakin's dialog felt offbeat and robotic, but Ewan and Hayden do every credit to the lightsaber battles!

I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Jokes aside this movie is alright, better than Episode I because it actually has story beats

I think this movie is an improvement on The Phantom Menace (I gave that a 7) and I truly, deeply, feel it is an extremely underrated movie. Not just an extremely underrated Star Wars movie but an extremely underrated piece of cinema. It is an important movie on a technical level and I think it's pioneering use of digital cinema is only one of the reasons why it's a brave movie.

Idk why everyone seems to dislike this movie the most of the prequels i think it does a really good job of setting up the 3rd movie and it has a lot more going on for it then the phantom menace did

Some cool lightsaber fights save this from being totally and utterly horrific. Hayden C's acting in this film combined with George L's writing is something to behold.

For the sake of nostalgia I love this movie, but objectively I think this might be the weakest of the original six films.

Plot that gets to the heart of the prequel trilogy: on one side the mysteries that Obi-Wan Kenobi faces in his travels, on the other side the love story between Anakin and Padmé that instead shows a more romantic and sentimental side and an alternation between action and tranquility very well done. The plot of the two stories is well done and channels everything into a great battle between the Republic and the Separatists of an epic nature, with a film that increases in intensity as it goes on

Not super exciting, visually fine like all star wars, terrible script, more entertaining than phantom menace.

Christopher Lee had no business making Dooku as smooth and cool of a fox as he was. The rest of it? Painful and difficult to watch much of the time.

Most people aren't a fan of this film, butI feel it's underrated. It's even more action packed than before and lays the foundation for the clone wars, while also having foreshadowing to the original trilogy, such as the death star hologram during one of the major battles.

More action, more characters, a well-paced story. The focus is on the development of the main character. It is good.

I wish episode II could be saved by nostalgia, but the truth is that it suffers from the same issues that plagued episode I while introducing a new host of issues for the prequel movies. The over reliance on CGI is jarring, when you start to notice where the physical set ends and the CGI beings its an issue, but at times you can see how poorly the CGI looks when the actors are just walking around the green room. Episode II mostly suffers in the script, nonsense dialogue, way to much exposition and any moments where its just Anakin and Padme is dreadful to watch but not because the dialogue is bad. The Anakin and Padme scenes would work with the provided script if both characters looked and acted more like teens. Anakin is a walking red flag factory if were being honest and the only way I can rationalize Padme falling for him would be if the two of them were blinded by youthful love. The saber fights in Episode 2 are among the weakest in the Skywalker Saga and without a doubt the worst of the prequel films.

Как по мне, первая половина фильма очень затянута с этими догонялками, но красиво. Также любовная линия Энакина и Падме, конечно, важна, ну как по опять же затянуто. Сцены на Камино хороши, планета океанов, на которой вечно идет дождь, люблю дождь. Пару моментов на Набу, опять же, отличные кадры, но по сравнению с первой частью маловато. Понравилась сцена встречи в судьбоносном месте, которая была также в 4 эпизоде. Сюжетный ход со смертью одного персонажа, когда его только нашли, непонятен, сделали бы хоть что-то типа подстрелили, после происходит первый волнительный момент. На удивление, никогда действия начинают происходить на 2-й пустынной планете, динамика возрастает, да и просто интересно смотреть. Подметил при повторном просмотре пару деталей, которые не примечал при первых просмотрах, которые опять же стрельнут в 4, 5, 6 эпизодах. Буквально, чем запомнится этот эпизод, — битвой на арене Джеонозиса и там же второй волнительный момент. Заканчивается эпизод начала новой вехи в истории «Звездных войн»: войны клонов.

Prequels are the best of Star Wars in general. This is what Lucas wanted his universe to be, and his ideas for Prequels made Star Wars absolutely great.Music has never been so good, lightsaber fights have a choreography, so it's now really impressive. And these movies tell a greek tragedy that's so beautiful.

The weakest of the entire saga by far. And the hardest to rewatch. All the more unfortunate that it followed The Phantom Menace, the most overhyped and disappointing film of many fans' lifetimes!

This is probably the worst film in the prequals. It is very slow, and you kind of want the movie to be over with once you start it, but you watch it anyway just because.

Worst of the franchise by far, for me. It really struggles to do anything good, and has an awful climax. Really, the cinematography and filmmaking is pretty subpar, as is the direction.

Same thing, same thing, be appreciative for the arc we seen on Anakin Skywalker, not falling for any haters here. Some flaws though.

Lucas dumbed down the film to suit kids, even though there are some very disturbing topics in the pre-trilogy.

The dynamic between Anakin and Padme is very cringe and the pacing seems slow at times, but the action is great and worth the wait!

Possibly my least favourite of the movies, could have been tighter if edited down a little but towards the end there are several essential scenes worth waiting for...

Attack of the clones is just sooo bad. At least it has a bit more life then the last one but it annoys me so much that Obi-Wan says “He was a good friend” but all we see in this movie is bickering and **** it’s so annoying. The score is very good though. As a child I was brainwashed into liking this one. Today I am free.

"The Jedi are taking ****, wait not yet, Attack of the Clones is a better film than Episode I, focusing on the beginning of the war against the separatist and the Sith, who are extinct. I would like to say something, from this movie I noticed that the Jedi are incredibly lazy. Yoda can Sense that the future, Jedi and judgement of everything are clouded by the Dark side yet he does nothing. Anyway. Now is this a great Starwars Film? Hell yes. It expands on the existing characters, and plots not to mention the FORCE of the music in this film. John Williams nailed all of the Themes. When you get to the Arena, it's magnificent. Now about the Women and Children, ok like I mentioned in the Review for Episode I, the memes make the Prequels so enjoyable. Ok but really, this film is really good, the way George was able to capture his writing and script and then make it memorable is insane. I'll tell you I can remember lines from this movie as clearly as day. To me that's what makes things really good, being able to create scenes that the audience can recognise and remember easily. George was on to something, maybe he didn't realise it but he definitely knew what he was doing. So 8/10, it's better, it's bigger, and I mean it's bigger. Compared to today's standards of Star Wars films this is leagues ahead of anything we've recently seen. Force Awakens, forget about it. The Last Jedi, I laugh at it. The Rise of Palpatine *cough, Skywalker, No, just no. Next one, Have you heard the Review of Episode III?

Attack of the Clones has some memorable soundtrack. That being said the dialogue is meme quality. If it were not for prequel memes and the soundtrack this would be lower. The story is ok to be honest.

While it's better than the Phantom Menace in all ways it's still one of the weaker Star Wars movies. This film adds a lot of importance context to the rest of the Star Wars franchise and the second half of the movie as exhilarating action scenes but besides that the movie is ok at best. The acting is questionable and some of writing is hard to watch. Overall it's an ok movie and nothing more but nothing less.

Excellent action and cgi. Expands the Star Wars universe with interesting new places and explains more of the back story for episodes 4-6.
