Rebel Moon-Part 2: The Scargiver is the cinematic sci-fi equivalent of that delicious chicken sandwich people punch each other in the face to get. Unscrunch your face and allow yourself to have an intergalactic blast like you did before you grew up to be so picky.

Alas, the characters and dialogue remain clunky, which shouldn’t be surprising given how derivative almost every beat of this is, down to the robot voiced by Anthony Hopkins.

Ignore the critics! It's a fantasticaction movie! I want to see Part 3! Ignore the users hating on it.. Ask this to all the users.. Why are you watching the 2nd one if you didn't like the first one? Right.. I bet they watch the 3rd one when it comes out! Best movie I have seen in a long time!

"Rebel Moon Pt 2" (4/19/24, Netflix, Dir: Zach Snyder) Wow, just wow. RM Pt1 was good, very good, but this Part 2 takes it to another level! Zach Snyder brought alot of the magic of "300" to make this a spectacular event. This is a "Star Wars" that Kathleen Kennedy and her minions could never make. This is a masterpiece of the genre - and I NEVER say that about anything. Sofia B. makes a decent enough protag but Ed Skrein as Atticus Noble makes a deliciously evil villain, even more so in this outing. But let's go back to Zach for a moment. This film shows you the potential that can be realized when you let an A-list personality produce, write, direct, and do the cinematography for an action/adventure film. Few have tried, and most fail, but Zach scores big here. And the final five minutes set the stage for what the Part 3 story would be, so here's to hoping Netflix does the Right Thing by Greenlighting it!

The Scargiver is at least basic enough to feel relatively inoffensive; the first film’s uncomfortably vague deployment of racist and sexual violence has been reduced to a single reference to the empire’s hatred of “ethnic impurity” (never to be picked up again).

Much like ‘A Child Of Fire,’ “The Scargiver” is exhausting, enervating, and exasperating, frantically flailing around with explosions, lasers, laser lightsaber-like swords, grenades, et al., but always failing to make you give a damn.

Increíble, es una película excelente, todo el hate que le ha caído por ser dirigida por Zack Snyder es incomprensible. Es el nacimiento de una nueva franquicia cinematográfica, de la cual espero seguir viendo películas. La película sigue la misma estructura que la primera a nivel argumental, primero desarrollo de personajes y contexto, para posteriormente deleitar a los espectadores con unas de las mejores escenas de acción. La producción y fotografía están a otro nivel, por momentos parece que estés dentro de un videojuego. Además, la película esta libre de cualquier propaganda política, hay personas de todas las culturas y sexos y todas asumen roles de todo tipo según el contexto de la película. Tengo muchas ganas de que se estrene la versión completa sin censura, va a ser una maldita pasada. Zack sigue con esta franquicia y haz más películas, eres un crack.

Os mesmos defeitos e acertos da Parte 1. Boa fotografia, design de produção, trilha sonora, VFX, ou seja, a parte técnica é impecável. Porém os personagens são rasos e o roteiro é fraco, beirando o desinteressante. Então é um filme visualmente bonito mas vazio. Zack Snyder devia realmente parar de insistir com roteiro e focar em Fotografia e Direção que é seu forte.

As this movie is a copy&paste of countless others, I'm also copying what I wrote regarding the first part of this ur-kitch saga. Before I paste what holds 100 % true for both parts, I'll add that I was surprised how the second part was actually a bit more boring, more predictable than the first one. I'll definitely watch the third as I suspect we might be entering into truly abominable territory. "You may want to check this just to realize the extent to which our current sci-fi mainstream has exhausted itself. But there is no reason to persist watching, once you understand the basic idea. There is nothing whatsoever here that could surprise you, or even appear remotly unfamiliar. Just copy and paste material, through and through."
