It's a fаке documentary, there's no Pennywise, and the whole story isn't realistic.

It 2017 scared me the opening scene where you see Georgie's arm gets bit off really scared my soul and and through the jump scares for the movie I felt my whole body just left my body and just went far far away because of how scary the movie was and I had three lucid dreams about the clown and I try to watch it 2017 at my Nana's house on my PlayStation right in the middle of the night because there was a school night and I was at the part to where Beverly cuts her hair and the drain so I had to like turn it off and I was upset but I did watch it 2017 on Blu-ray because I got it on Blu-ray when it came out and I gotta say the kid actors did such a good job playing the losers club and I love that Bill Skarsgård was a perfect Pennywise like just delivered a scary horrifying clown that just literally gives you like jump scare horror elements and just makes Pennywise look so scary and so creepy that will just make you want to literally turn it off or cover your face with a pillow for how scary it is through the whole movie if you have coulrophobia which is the fear clowns

It is a gripping and атмосферic horror film that blends genuine scares with strong coming-of-age storytelling. Directed by Andy Muschietti, it captures both the terror of Pennywise and the emotional depth of childhood friendships. Bill Skarsgård delivers a chilling, unforgettable performance as Pennywise. While not perfect in pacing, its balance of horror and heart makes it highly engaging. A solid 8/10.

not entirely bad but it isn't scary at all and the kids are extremely foul mouthed, which at least for me broke the immersion

Incredible film. Bill Skarsgård is incredible as pennywise and the story is great. It does take a different route than the novel but is much better than the 1990's miniseries. Not the scariest though, but it is still one of the best.

The film made a strong impression and deserves the highest score, although there are moments that feel questionable. The bullying of Pennywise by the kids sometimes looks shameful and undermines the sense of his terrifying power. I still give it a 10 because of Bill Skarsgård’s phenomenal performance — his Pennywise became the true embodiment of a nightmare: the physicality, the voice, the facial expressions, and the unpredictability made the character iconic and frightening. I also wish the script had explored Pennywise’s might more deeply and explained more clearly why the Losers’ Club was special. The Losers’ Club itself turned out amazing — both in terms of the cast and the way the characters were written. The balance of personalities in the group created a vivid dynamic, and each member brought their own energy, fears, and strength.

Greetings from Lithuania. "It" (2017) isn't the most scariest movie I've ever seen, damn, its even not the most scary movie I've seen in 2017, but it is a hands down the most involving horror movie I've seen in many moons, simply because first and the most important thing - it is a very good movie /drama that so happens is a horror movie as well.Script and directing here were top notch. Music was excellent and acting by all young actors were superb.Overall, "It" works as a good drama and good horror movie. Its superbly well paced - at running time 2 h 5 min i was never bored or lost interest in this story. Superb movie all around.

Extremely slow-paced, absolutely uninteresting, and the tension level is 6 ft under the ground. This film is an inflated red balloon.

This is not just any horror movie, it doesn't scare you, it leaves a mark on you, a movie that has soul and we see that with every scare we get, the characters, not to mention the sincerity and the strong and well-represented personality of each one. It's not a movie, it's a WORK OF ART.

A fresh-faced adaptation of the Stephen King horror classic that's staunchly loyal at times, decidedly less so at others. Some removals make sense, like the tremendously cringy sex stuff that King likes to pepper among his novels, but others are a detriment. The production regularly goes to great lengths for a knowing wink - repeated close-ups of a silver bicycle, for instance - but then often fails to follow through with appropriate explanation to make less-familiar viewers do more than furrow their brow and move on. That's a disease that plagues much of this picture: it's in such a rush to touch all the right scenes that it forgets to make them mean anything. King's book can be grotesque and macabre, but it's also very human and patient enough to let its characters establish themselves. On film, there's the hint of a rapport among our child protagonists, but they fall together so quickly that it can be difficult to tell them apart, let alone empathize beyond a base human compassion. Everything looks great, and a legitimately terrifying performance from Bill Skarsgård does well to distinguish itself from Tim Curry's earlier take on Pennywise the Clown. But with so much budget to swing around, glossy special effects and a creepy villain aren't quite enough for me. Negative points for jamming the screen with every trick in the modern horror playbook, too, trying way too hard to fit camera judder and triple-speed jump scares into a story that already had more than enough going on.

Its basically a less violent, less suspenseful, less interesting and more cringe version of Stranger Things. I've never read any of Stephen King's books, but if this is close to them, I don't understand the hype. I did like that the fat kid got to kiss the girl, though.

I hope Billy Skars hired a good chiropractor after filming this. Acting is terrific, set pieces are largely very scary.

I must admit, this is my guilty pleasure. I've seen this movie over 20 times and many more to come. I love every aspect of this movie. The pacing, characters, writing, cinematography, direction, music, etc. is incredible. I'm aware I like this movie much more than most, but this is probably my favorite horror movie of all time. Second horror movie I ever watched and I can't stop coming back to it. Highly recommend.

Why it rocks: The film improves the 1990 film in every way. The characters are far more interesting, and it’s actually quite funny. Maybe slightly too long, but the opening scene and good characters just **** in your attention like a black hole. The cgi isn’t fake, and there’s some character depth.

Scary even if too scurrilous considering that the protagonists are children. Very adult like horror with a plot that follows the guidelines of the book.

Bill Skarsgård delivers a twisted-funny performance as Pennywise. Some scenes are unsettling and build suspense but aside from the clown room & Beverly taken scenes, this film could of been scarier. Funny lines were delivered on queue as well.

A horror masterpiece. Incredible acting even from kids. Kept me on my toes allthroughout and the time spent to detail the children is actualy good, not that boring as some say (people, stop criticising this movie for that).

IT is at its best when focusing on its superb young cast. The kids all jell together perfectly, and the horror elements work in service of their story. This makes IT one of the more pleasantly thoughtful horror movies from a major studio. I would also be remiss if I didn't add that Bill Skarsgård splendidly fits into Tim Curry's giant clown shoes as Pennywise.

Harrowing! This is the best horror movie for a long time. It is relentlessly attacking your nerves with an onslaught of creepy imagery, supernatural moments, gore and a funking clown that will not leave you alone. There is one sequence that I will never forget. I went all out with massive TV, UHD HDR, headphones in the late night and the experience did not disappoint. I genuinely jumped out of my skin numerous times. The story, the build-up, every scene, almost every moment it gripping. The scares are perfectly choreographed. I cannot wait to see what they do with the sequel.

All hail Bill Skarsgard, the creepiest and scariest actor out there. What he brought to Pennywise was amazing. If you were not scared of clowns before watching this film you should be now. The kids in this movie also provided us with several great laughs. Once again, the banter between Richie and Eddie was hilarious.

I did not watch the previous It, I did not read the book. But I enjoyed watching the cinema adaptation of 2017. Horror has outlived itself for a long time, and It vividly confirms this, screamers, is and is not done badly, but it is not frightening at all. Children's characters did not play their roles poorly. One of the few horror stories you can watch.
