It's more food based anime than a slice of life. I know there's a niche fanbase out there for food related programs but this film was just boring. Don't let the marketing around this being created by Makoto Shinkai's studio, this film had nothing to do with him.

Three linked stories about nostalgia, family binds, love, lost chances and food; the food story is enough for open your apetite. The result deserve a little bit longer. Just stay for the end of post credits.
