Fast X

Fast X is an outlandish movie. Literally nothing in this movie could really happen, but isn’t that why we watch films in the first place? The imagined world of the Fast & Furious saga is exciting and that’s enough. Are there too many characters now? Yes. Do you always know what’s going on? No. But you’ll laugh, you’ll cheer and you’ll feel, for a few hours, like part of a family.

No, there are no dinosaur cameos, but this 10th lap – now with added Brie Larson – is relentlessly fun.

The focus inside the avalanche of stunts, asymmetrical plot elements, and mismatched genre tropes is still what Vin, and his alter ego Dom, would call “values.” Faith. Family. Honor. Loyalty. Because Dom is the last of a dying breed.

Fast X suffers from the same condition as latter-day MCU movies, where it’s so laden with internal mythology that it feels more like homework than popcorn entertainment.

The film plays more like it was made by an AI versed in the existing movies but not quite up to spitting out something coherent itself.

The best I can say about all of this is that it didn’t bore me.

Don’t expect a single novel element here — everything is recycled from the junkyard.

Für mich einer der besten Filme die ich jemals gesehen habe klar war die Story ziemlich aus dem Hut gezogen aber die Umsetzung ist absolut gelungen ich liebe diesen Film und es ist neben 6 und 7 mein Lieblingsteil der Reihe

if it weren't for Jason Momoa being an insane out the brain villain and being funny when needed then this movie would be a 3. someone from marvel was behind a lot of these past few movies in this franchise. story was meh and unnecessary (like the last 5), John cena made an appearance....thats it on that. if i took a shot for every time i heard the word family, id be F**king dead. now for the good things, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster are STILL FINE! *notice how im not mentioning the story? what movie? F**K THIS REVIEW! AND THIS MOVIE!

Actually fun - if you control your expectations. I totally understand some critiques, but I have to ask you guys: wtf do you expect from F&F? Look, that's one of those movies where you have to turn off your brain to become watchable. Everyone should know that. I found two ways to watch this in a funnier way. The first is to laugh about how stupid they will get each movie. Come on, some scenes are crazy and even unpredictable - not about the outcome itself, but how they will do it. The other way is enjoying the HDR and Dolby Atmos experience. My soundbar goes crazy with those types of films. That's it. I found it fun to watch it with my GF on an uncommitted sunday.

Banal plot and increasingly exaggerated and unrealistic scenes that lead the film to be ridiculous, without a solid story and the duration is excessive for what it offers, boring in some points
