Cruel Intentions

A witty, raunchy comedy, which proves that a well-written piece of business – oozing with sex, wit and nasty intrigue – works for any generation.

The dirtiest-minded American movie in recent memory -- and an honestly corrupt entertaining picture is never anything to sneeze at.

Neither the characters nor the events are exactly the same as those of the novel, but some of the same spirit comes across.

It's tremendous fun, thanks largely to a smarter-than-average script and some fierce casting.

In truth, the only reason this film was made was to allow viewers to ogle pretty young things behaving badly.

In the end, the whole shebang comes off like a bunch of snotty, rich white kids screwing each other and screwing each other over.

It's not the trite talk that sends Cruel Intentions into a tailspin, it's the lightweight casting.

Wow just wow. This film is excellent I can't say something bad. It has great actors and good music. The plot is excellent and the film is a masterpiece. It is really smart and it is easily watched. i think everyone would love that film. Nothing else to say just watch that film. Plus, it's the sexiest film EVER

Cruel Intentions is a decent enough modern retelling of Dangerous Liaisons (itself based on a 16th century novel), but lets be honest, this movie is only really remembered for one scene...

I have watched all three of Cruel Intentions. For the first and the third one - setting is good - casting is bad - plot is good - story is bad - dialogues are modern cheap thrash. And for the second one, all are poor. But two people make great acting. They are big fun to watch. They outperform all. They are Sarah Michelle Gellar in the first one, Nathan Wetherington in the third one.

Cruel Intentions is a guilty pleasure. With decent acting, poorly written, and just laughable at some parts make it a quality pleasure .
