Bachelorette is more tartly written, better acted and less forgiving than male-centric equivalents like the "Hangover" movies.

Yet if Bachelorette takes the form of a romantic ensemble comedy, it's purged of any true romantic feeling. You'll laugh, maybe a lot, but you won't feel great about it in the morning.

I loved this movie. Many have complained about how unlikeable these characters were. Well in real life not everybody is likable. these characters were realistic, nasty and funny. I thought the movie was hilarious, and not the normal type of comedy. Great movie, underrated

This was over-the-top smart and funny. Excellent story and very well acted. The three girls were fantastic, and Rebel Wilson is going to be a star. Perhaps a cult classic is in our midst?

Headland can write zingers that would make the cruelest bridezilla blush. And Caplan's treatise on the art of the blow job is time-capsule worthy. Sadly, Bachelorette is a comic cocktail that goes heavy on the bitters. That's no way to end a wedding.

Bachelorette has some big gaps, and it isn't what you'd call fun - it's not "Bridesmaids 2." But lovely women doing genuinely ugly things makes for a potent combination.

While Bachelorette is admirably free of the normal formulas governing movies that revolve around women and wedding dresses, it doesn't offer anything more satisfying in their stead.

Bitchy histrionics curdle faster than a spoiled soy latte in this distinctly unlikable comedy about a trio of coked-up gal pals who barely muster the strength to celebrate their happier friend's wedding.

I don't often use the words "godawful" and "abomination" to describe a movie, preferring to reserve such terminology for extreme instances when I feel duped and mortally offended. Case in point: Bachelorette.

Absolutely hilarious. I laughed from beginning to end. Can't really ask more out of a comedy. Sure, the girls aren't likable, but they were very compelling characters, and I actually ended up caring for them. Isla Fisher gives one of the best comic performances I've seen in a long time.

It's raunchy, foul-mouthed and showcases a trio of unlikeable leads who make you cringe at the mean stuff they do. Nevertheless, it's consistently funny and surprisingly dark. Kirsten Dunst is amazing in this.

Another tiresome, boring and uninventive "Bridesmaids" ripoff with a predictable plot and muddled performances.

This was not a good movie. It wasn't really funny in any way, you are forced to dislike the characters because they are all quite terrible people or just not believable as human beings. In the end everything works out for them, but it's not what you'll want because none of them seem to deserve it. If you are expecting Bridesmaids, STAY AWAY! There's not heart in this one at all, and you'll come out completely unsatisfied.

Bachelorette is a comedy that tries to have "an edge" meaning sex, drugs and saying lot of dirty words. Eddie Murphy said in the past humor is not about saying list of obscenities and wishing everyone good night. The movie attempts to amuse audience with exactly this while failing awkwardly.
