A good movie for one evening; don't expect anything special from it, but you're sure to have a good time. What's more, the bad guys here are Russians, so what could be better?

Is this a zombie survival movie, or a cheap horror movie? The main character always go for that rattling sound, always help everybody even when it is impossible to help, and wasting his survival kit on unessential stuff. Surely this guy wont last long in a real zombie apocalypse. As a movie tho, quite entertaining because there is zombies in it, but gets cheesy midway and untill the end. They have a sequel too btw, judging from its ending.

I entered triggers on dtdd but I am so happy to see a film like this. The dedication to his cat is amazing. I was worried something bad would happen to the cat, as often happens, but this is a film I can re-watch :) More, please! I'm here for a sequel (just keep the cat safe in it please!) Glad others feel the same about Luculo-- I just read an article about the film after and it said "Last but not least, Luculo the cat should remain unharmed. If anything happens to that furball, we riot." I stand by this. Protect Luculo at all costs!

I like a good zombie flick as much as the next **** in this case it just felt like the same old.There's absolutely nothing in this movie that adds to the zombie genre, it all felt like something we have seen over and over again.

Apocalypse Z: El Principio Del Fin is a dull film that fails to bring anything new to the zombie genre. I watched it with high expectations, given the reputation of Spanish cinema, but the outcome was disappointing.

A standard zombie breakout movie elevated slightly above the norm by emotional storytelling and strong acting.

Soy un fan de todo mundo postapocalíptico especialmente d zombis y esta pelicula como tal esta en la parte media alta de esta categoría en mi parece y teniendo en cuenta que es la introducción de una saga la subiría un poco mas.

A smidge above average for a zombie romp, the cast do a great job and the pacing is decent. Sadly the genre is so oversaturated this film brings few fresh ideas with it. The dramatic stakes provide some interesting scenarios. Worth a watch if you like a good survival horror film!
