Tomodachi Life
Tomodachi Life tries to be fun, and it sorta is. The problem is that it only lasts for an hour or three, and then the magic’s gone forever.
There is plenty to philosophize about regarding Tomodachi Life. It’s an alienating product of its own time: we’re dealing with a game where the player is forced, passive-aggressively, to take the role of voyeur. But as a game, Tomodachi Life is never really fun. Tomodachi Life is no more than a stiff repetition exercise that is intriguing, yet kind of boring.

Semplice e divertente, Tomodachi Life (3DS) è un titolo davvero piacevole che si esprime in maniera semplice e divertente seppur con delle incertezze. 8.1/10

Tomodachi life is really fun, however when it starts to plateau you get really limited on what you can do. After about 4-5 hours (generous) of playing, you get like 20 minutes a day to do stuff and then you don’t really have anything else to do. Definitely not worth £50 but it is enjoyable when there’s things to do

Loads of content here to bite and chew on, with the mii's families you can make along with all the dream sequences and random events that happen you never really don't have content to see. Alongside the charming dialogue and custom miis you can download it's a blast to sit and play and then come back to when you have time!

Tomodachi Life is the new life simulator game from Nintendo. But that doesn’t mean a boring 9-5 office simulator, it means more mad and crazy Japanese things to do with your Mii kinda game. Which, as far as anyone is concerned, equals awesome.

Tomodachi Life is not really a life simulator. If you were expecting a sort of Animal Crossing with Miis, you are going for a huge disappointment. As it is, Tomodachi Life is a fun game to play for a few minutes once in a while: it gets pointless and repetitive fast, but it's always fun to see Miis interact and do weird things.

A delightfully strange and often surprising piece of work; it’s more plaything than game, perhaps, but the smiles it generates will be broad and frequent.

Tomodachi Life does its best to cut through a lot of society's hateful garbage to produce an incredible island paradise of distraction and more often than not succeeds, but not without stumbling all over itself, revealing too many embarrassing inner thoughts.

The abundance of surreal moments make for game that's fun to tell others about, but dull to play.

I've never quite played a "game" like this one. It's an experience to say the least. It's not really a game, but more of a smartphone app you check throughout the day. It's will have you coming back due to it's awkward, but often funny moments. It's somewhat up to the player on how quirky to make your game is by what Miis you decide to put on your island. An interesting game that will definitely be looked back on in gaming history.

Un juego divertido, no es para estar largas jornadas de juego, pero es un juego entretenido y poco más, no destaca nada, excepto el genial uso de los miis.

If you want to pick up a simulator game for Nintendo 3ds, consider picking up Animal Crossing New Leaf instead. This isn't from a biased standpoint either, as I actually experienced Tomodachi Life BEFORE ACNL. In terms of anything you can actually do in this game, it's extremely limited. Yes, you can buy lots of clothing and food to feed your islanders. In fact, I appreciate this game for the amount of variety they put into the foods, including lots of foods from different countries and backgrounds, even some I never heard of! However, the set back is that there's not much control you have over the food other than to feed it to your characters. Whatever food your character likes is purely RNG and if your character doesn't like the food OR clothing you give it, your money goes down the drain. The leveling system is quite weird, since there's basically no purpose for it once you figure out what you intend to get. The most useful thing you can get from leveling up is a song to sing, which you can edit your own lyrics. I do enjoy that part of the game, but the lead up to it feels meaningless. You feed your Mii a few foods that they like, and now they're a musical prodigy. Supposedly, if not everything was actually handed to you, and instead you had to actually do something it could have made the game more intriguing to play. Other than that, I have no hard feelings towards Tomodachi Life. It's very unlikely it's ever going to be ported to Nintendo Switch.

It's the sort of game you're meant to check up on, but not really play. It looked fun but I regret buying the game.. I put mine up for sale now, it got too annoying. It's cute but there's no 'real' thing to do, no goals and you can't plan the way things are going, it's just like watching a Mii movie or something.
