Whether this is your first or ninth adventure with Lara, it is one you won’t soon forget. With perfect controls, intuitive gameplay, stunning graphics, majestic music, and a totally engaging story, this is the type of adventure game Legends are made of.
88
The biggest knock against the game is the length. The single-player game is only seven hours long. You’re able to unlock movies and outfits, which are fun, but may not be worth a play through.

Great story and old charismatic Lara. I miss her. Dialogues were better than most of the movies. Replayed like ten times.

Also a Great Lara Croft Game on Xbox 360! Great Graphics! And like Tomb Raider Underworld an Masterpiece!

If you can ignore the sloppy motorbike sequences and often unsatisfying combat, you'll have no trouble fitting into Lara's skimpy outfits and immersing yourself in the most enjoyable action-adventure on the Xbox 360 to date.

Most importantly, the puzzles are back on track. Traps, levers, pulleys, chains, chasms, secret passges, underground lakes, rotating knives — there’s a cunning solution to each, designed to keep you puzzling for just long enough to gain satisfaction in the solving, but not long enough to make you want to hurl your own internal organs at the screen.

It took me just under 8 hours to complete 90% of the game, and it's not a terrible stretch to imagine someone rushing through it in 5 or 6. It's a good sign for a game when players want more, and it's further proof that the Tomb Raider series is back in a big way.
78
A good return to the roots of the series. It doesn't do anything new or different, but it has a great blend of action and adventure that will always keep you moving and interested. The problem is that it moves a bit too fast, and it's all over way too soon.

The graphics are old-school blocky, the puzzles are tired and many of the acrobatic moves are straight out of other games before it, most notably "Prince of Persia," but also even older "Indiana Jones" titles.

Tomb Raider: Legend – Review (9.3/10) Tomb Raider: Legend feels like the moment the series finally found its footing again. After a few rough entries, this game brings Lara Croft back with tighter gameplay, better pacing, and a sense of adventure that actually feels **** levels are well designed and move quickly, which keeps things fresh. You’re constantly climbing, swinging, solving puzzles, and occasionally getting into gunfights, but it rarely feels repetitive. Lara’s movement is smooth and responsive, making platforming genuinely fun instead of frustrating.Visually, the game still holds up surprisingly well for its time. The environments—from jungles to snowy mountains—have a lot of variety, and Lara herself looks better than she ever had in earlier games. The soundtrack also deserves credit for giving the adventure a cinematic **** there’s one downside, it’s that the game is a bit short. Just when things start to really pick up, the story is already heading toward the finale. Still, what’s here is polished and memorable.Overall, Tomb Raider: Legend is a fantastic reboot for the series. It captures the spirit of classic Tomb Raider while modernizing the gameplay in the best ways. Short, stylish, and fun from start to finish. Score: 9.3/10

Lara gets a makeover for the next generation and the result is a smoother, glossier and prettier adventure in a similar but more polished mould to the previous instalments. Surpassed in every way by the Uncharted games on the PS3, but if you don't own one then this is a decent enough substitute.

It was good when It came out. A reboot of the series. The graphics are just ok.

This is a decent game. Graphics are okay but could be better for its time. What this game suffers from is bad controls and frantic dumb camera angles. Sometimes they just annoys you enough you want to quit in frustration. Combat is simplistic, puzzles are decent but not to challenging..

Has too much of a PG-13 feel. The story is simple and boring, and Lara is just some generic and unlikeable woman, like all the other characters in the game. The game would have also been much more enjoyable if Lara didn't have annoying voices from another pair of unlikeable and boring characters talking to her through a radio frequently. Like in the original games, where it was just Lara and her lonely adventures. Really helped the atmosphere much more...which was also better in the originals.
