So, will I be returning to Rainbow Six Siege X regularly? I’m not so sure. The wall to climb is steep, and it still doesn’t cater to the tactical, single-player-minded fan I’ve always been. Yet, I can’t deny that it’s a successful refresh. For current veterans or returning players who already know what they’re signing up for, this is the best version of Siege there has ever been. It’s a modern, polished, and brutally challenging tactical shooter. Just know that the fresh paint does little to soften the blows.

There are elements like the limits to destructability that show the age of Siege’s underlying technology, and I have concerns about how unlockables ratchet up the pressure to spend on this slightly unconventional free-to-play model. But it’s tough to beat the thrill of a tense match versus another squad of Operators. The X update is a solid step forward for Siege, a great jumping-in point for anyone returning, and just the right spot for those looking to breach these walls for the first time.

This is the game i play the most in my entire life. I got 5 000 hours on this game, but i score it out a 7 why ? Bc this game is sadly the portrait of why ubisoft is downfalling nowadays. I start the game in 2016 so i discover it with is realist version, it was so dope damn man ! after that i really enjoy bc if he lose his identiy, he stay a good game. At the time i played in 2018 when u are a gold or plat you were a really good player ! but now the ranking system is so bad. And you know what, this is the only reason to play this game, ego, trying to be the best you can. But this game dont care about your skills i can prove it i was against five stack actual champion in a match with a 9 - 2 - 3 K/D/A and my top rank on my account is plat 1... you know why ? bc this ranking system is **** i win a game with 10 kill or more and 1 or 2 death but the game give PR exactly like if i kill nobody but when i lose i lose so much thats ridiculous. I play against guy with rank like diamond and all me im plat and im good but what about my team8 ? I know im not shaiko but im good at this game and with all humilty bc of my game sens, aim a lot of people top rank say me im on my skill a little diamond but the game think is okay to hard stuck me in plat bc when im p2 i win 13PR and i lose 20 what can i do ? I got 1,3 KD and 0,8 losing ? how its possible ? bc the ranking system is so ****. For me this game is amazing but ubisoft are like on all game trying to do everything they can to make thing worse.

Pour moi le meilleur FPS stratégique qui puisse exister en multijoueur. Les affrontements sont vraiment nerveux et dynamiques et la tension est atteinte à chaque partie. Pas besoin de talent brut pour jouer mais plutôt d'un apprentissage assidu et d'une communication complète. Le jeu développe son potentiel avec des amis, mais est tout aussi bon avec des coéquipiers expressifs et qui savent communiquer. Toutefois, beaucoup de smurfs et de cheaters qui viendront ruiner vos parties entre quelques problèmes spatiaux de sons.

If you're look for a Ready or not style game with multiplayer pvp , this is NOT it. Siege X is a unique game with alot of reliance on your team and unique set of skills. If you however do the tutorial you learn about reinforcing walls etcetera. If you reinforce a wall in multiplayer you will get teamkilled because someone wants a "peek-hole" there. After that you'll get killed by his friend because thats how siege goes. If you report them , sometimes they'll get their karma , sometimes you'll get told to go "kys" or "leave the game" in 72 different languages by other players.

LOS QUE SE QUEJAN DE LA CURVA DE APRENDIZAJE SON PUTOS CORTA.
El mejor juego que puede existir, muchisimos personajes diferentes para probar, miles de tacticas por aprender, aunque a veces toquen smurf la verdad el juego es muy divertido.
Viciar todos los dias para conseguir nuevos personajes con mis amigos es una epoca que no voy a olvidar jamas.
Se lo recomiendo pero les aviso que una vez entras al vicio no podes salir juego de mierda te tiene atrapado mal y a veces te vas a tiltear.

A great update for a great game. The additions of the free access and Dual front game mode could bring new people to this unique fps game- At the same time, all of Siege's core content has been greatly improved, especially the Operator Ban, which adds a whole new layer of strategy that combines very well with Siege.

Quality of life and balancing changes set the stage for the next ten years of Rainbow Six Siege X, forging strong foundations that bring the FPS game roaring into 2025, but retreading old ground with map and operator remasters feels like it’s running out of mileage. Fortunately, the 6v6 Dual Front mode breaks the mold with something new, and a reworked sound system will have you relearning the game as if it were Year One all over again.

Rainbow Six: Siege is still an excellent and entertaining tactical shooter, one that many continue to copy and be inspired by. This isn't changing and frankly if you have the time, skill, and patience to learn this game, you will be massively engaged. However, as far as an upgrade goes, Siege X doesn't really add a whole lot.

Siege X is a much-needed update to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, but more could have been put into it. Dual Front is a gameplay overhaul that will keep veterans busy for a long time. The visual upgrades are solid, but aren't mind blowing as this is still an eSports title that requires high refresh rates and low latency. The audio overhaul will help players better identify locations and the experience truly begs to use headphones. This is still Rainbow Six Siege, though, so it's either going to click for players or it won't. There's a steep difficulty curve and it requires time investment. Yes, protecting a room in the final minute while using your tools to take down four people as the only survival is rewarding, but wasting 5-10 minutes trying to plan then getting shot through the floor with one bullet while no one on your team is willing to revive you is frustrating. The update is welcome, but it doesn't revolutionize the game.

Siege X is a bold, uneven evolution that both honors and undercuts what made Rainbow Six special in the first place. It’s more polished and more ambitious, but also less focused, less grounded, and occasionally less fun. Whether you love it or hate it will depend entirely on what you want from Siege in its tenth year.

The game I have loved playing for almost a decade just got bigger and better. What else could I wish for? I can easily see mysef playing for another 10 years. Also, it seems that the game is making it realy easy for new players to come onboard. It has never been a better time to join the siege!

This game is absolute dog poop in the current state (16th july 2025). After 2 games of quickmatch i already got into a game against a full stack of blatant cheaters. The very next game in quickmatch i get into a game against 2 champs and 3 emeralds most likely in a stack. Keep in mind THIS WAS THE 3RD match of my entire life meaning no experience whatsoever. This matchmaking is just the absolute worst thing in the game. The game itself would generaly be great but you cant have a good game with also a good community. Dont recommend this game at all until they do something about the cheaters and the matchmaking
