The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

It's I-can't-believe-I'm-having-this-much-fun-being-green good. Give-to-your-best-friend-for-his-birthday good. I know, it's a shock.

They've listened to the criticism and have delivered a game that's full of action - which means it's short on Banner and long on Hulk. This is the best Hulk game ever.

Pure chaos at it's finest. The non-linear structure of the missions ensures that you can tear around the city all you want without having to settle down and take a mission, and the cool new moves at your disposal are a lot of fun to perform.

Repetition and environmental limitations aside, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is a terrific way to pass the time for existing and future Hulk fans. There are more moves to choose from here than in any other game of recent memory and the attention to detail aimed at fans (expect references to Jarella, the Pantheon, and issue #102 among others) is a great touch.

Sure, it isn't the deepest, longest, or most technically proficient game out there, but fans of the comic book are sure to have a blast smashing their way through every destructible obstacle the game throws at them.

There may be a balancing issue between the Story missions and the free-roaming fun of bounding across the environments, but Hulk is definitely the most impressive interpretation of a comic-book character's adventures yet.

Once fluent in Hulk's explosive vocabulary of lamppost-javelins, boulder-bowling balls and tank football, it becomes apparent how much there is to praise in this game. I played it in 2024. It was a good throwback to old games. I thought the action was creative and mostly enjoyable. The camera is a bit of a drag, and the combat isn't as fluid or smooth as in newer games. Overall, it's better than most games released nowadays and worth it, especially if you like the lore.

Ultimate Destruction presents what other superhero games cannot do: making the game fun. UD shows the power and grace of the Hulk and manages to give players a good time. While the narrative all in all isn't great, it's at least fun and gives some insight. What really matters is the gameplay. Combos, supermoves, and unlocking new abilities are the heart of the game. A problem this game has is the repetition of the missions. Another problem would be on the technical side as things would get too choppy and chaotic late in the game. Overall, this is a superb game by Marvel standards and even manages to be a good game in the industry as a whole.

Me venderam um jogo incrível e o resultado é só mais um game medíocre do gigante esmeralda, um mundo aberto pequeno e feio, sem criatividade, combates horríveis, com inimigos roubados, um Hulk tosco e fraco que apanha pra geral inclusive para soldadinhos e robôs básicos de fase, tem muita pouca coisa boa para compensar todas as ruins, ele é sim o melhor jogo do Hulk já feito, mas a melhor porcaria não deixa de ser um porcaria também, eu odiei esse jogo, envelheceu bem mal e eu não recomendo para ninguém, a não ser que você seja meu inimigo, se for tá super recomendado.
