SUNSOFT is Back Retro Game Selection is a niche product that will not impress everyone. However, if you love old-school gaming and you wish to play never-before released in the West games, then don't miss out. This collection is nicely varied and wonderfully dated. Yet, I'm not sure if it is a few decades too late for this experience.

SUNSOFT is Back! Retro Game Selection is an interesting collection, if only so we can see how far the gaming industry has come. Just be warned, the games themselves are punishingly difficult and extremely unfriendly.

It's always good for the preservation of video games when companies provide us with compilations with never-before-seen development material, manuals, etc. In this case, Sunsoft includes all of that and goes even further by bringing three games that had never reached Western shores, which for many will be original 8-bit releases from the 80s. The only questionable thing is the small selection, three titles do not seem enough , especially for the large, varied and high-quality catalogue of Sunsoft, although as a first step, we could say that it passes its intentions. However, we hope for more in the future.

****/analisis-de-sunsoft-is-back-retro-game-selection/

Sure these games are not going to hold up today. They are difficult, confusing, and a product of their time, but being able to access them on just about anything with a controller is fantastic. I highly recommend checking out this compilation if you have any reverence for Sunsoft. Seeing some of their early work is as much fascinating as it is informative.
