Space Invaders Infinity Gene

It's a great reimagining of the original series, and certainly worth checking out for both fans of the modern "bullet hell" CAVE titles, and for old-school Space Invaders fans as well.

This is an excellent update of the classic title.

If you're feeling nostalgic, yet looking for a modern shooter, Infinity Gene is a wonderful addition to your hard drive. Even without the Space Invaders pedigree, the game is a fast-paced shooter with real depth and addictive gameplay.

The game's standard mode and its endless emphasis on leveling up will keep arcade fiends coming back for more, while its multiple ancillary modes will please those looking for a little diversity in their experience.

Space Invaders: Infinity Gene is a great evolution for the classic series.

For 800 MS Points ($10), you are going to get yourself a decent old-school shooter with a new coat of paint shooter. If you are a fan of the series, or a youngun looking for a history lesson, at least check out the demo version.

What should be retro goodness becomes quite boring.
