From the first trailer I knew I would like Pragmata, so it makes me so happy that the game is actually great. Hugh and Diana are great, combat is original and fun, enemy variety is insane and graphics is just fantastic. Story is fine, but antagonists were soulless and last third **** was weaker than the first 2/3. It is completely worth your money and I hope everybody enjoys what capcom has been cooking this year

The best game I've played on Nintendo Switch 2, a fantastic story.
I wish the physical copy of the game didn't come with a Game Key Card.

When I saw this trailer back in 2020 I had a feeling this game was gonna be phenomenal. Then over time I saw that it had so many delays and that it possibly was never gonna come out. Once it did I had high expectations for this and this game managed to blow those expectations out of the water. From top to bottom this game was unbelievable. Diana is the sweetest character and one of the best child character in a video game. Hugh was a phenomenal character as well. Each enemy had its own unique ability and challenge to it that made the game super fun. The map design was unbelieveable. The gameplay was such a unique and a magnificent experience. Capcom took a huge risk by doing something completely different and it was a perfect from the loading screen all the way to the end. Any game that can make an enjoyable bonding and gaming experience is top tier. This game isn't a 10/10 experience, not 100/10 experience, it is a 1,000,000/10 experience in my opinion. I could sit here for days trying to find a negative thing to say about this game and I wouldn't be able to find one. If you need one more reason to get this game read the story about the reddit user Therealduke777 and shows how a game can heal a person and that is what this game feels like if you have lost someone close to you. This game is phenomenal and I would strongly suggest anyone who hasn't played it to give it a try.

The game is generally good, but in some places it feels like the developers have cut corners. First of all, the English voice acting sounds unconvincing. From time to time, I caught myself feeling like I was listening to some kind of children's program. And the problem is not that the main character is trying to play the role of Diana's father, but that the general context of their relationship, saving the world, does not fit at all with the way it is presented. The development of the relationship looks too abrupt. There should be a gradual rapprochement, but here, as if with a click, they are already best friends. Because of this, you don't have time to believe in their connection. The ending is **** out of the finger, yes it touches, but not in the way it was intended due to the mistakes I described above. The action game is interesting, the riddles are boring, the locations are incredible, but there are few of them. I didn't know that this was a long-term game and I wasn't expecting it in general, I found out that it exists only after the release. Apparently, the production crisis caused the above problems. 7 out of 10

Прекрасная игра, новизна в геймплее, хороший бектрекинг, одна из лучших игр 2026 года. В некоторых аспектах даже лучше чем Resident evil 9.

Pragmata is easily one of the best games to come out in the past year. It delivers phenomenal, genuinely next-gen graphics, paired with excellent voice acting, especially in Japanese, where the performances add an extra layer of authenticity and emotional weight. It also runs incredibly smooth and feels exceptionally well optimised on the PlayStation 5 Pro, with seamless performance that lets you fully appreciate both the visual fidelity and the intensity of the gameplay without distraction. What really stands out is the gameplay loop, it’s incredibly fun and almost addictive, constantly pushing you with clever challenges that make every encounter feel rewarding. There’s real depth here too, with strong replay value that keeps pulling you back in. At the heart of it all is the relationship between Diana and her father figure, an absolutely incredible dynamic that elevates the entire experience. It’s rare to see a well written bond in a game, and Diana herself feels like a character who will become a staple in future Capcom titles. Pragmata doesn’t just feel like a one-off success, it has all the makings of a long lasting franchise. You can’t help but hope this is just the beginning, with more to come in the form of DLC or a full sequel. An absolute heart throbber ****!

First 3 or 4 hours are OK
Next is just boring.
Link between both caracters is not strong enough
Gameplay is ok
Level design is old.
Platform phase are not really good neither. Overrated game.

I gave an 8/10 to Pragmata on PS5 Pro. The graphics are good, and the art direction works well without trying too **** game is very engaging. The story is well written and interesting from start to finish. The relationship with Diana is strong, and you get attached to her. This adds a lot to the overall experience .The gameplay is solid, even if it can feel a bit repetitive at times. It also feels like classic old-school games, with simple and effective mechanics. The upgrade system is quite original compared to many modern games. One small downside is that finding some crates can take time and slightly slow the game. Overall, it is a very good experience. It is immersive and engaging, even with some repetition.Great Capcom! I hope you will be happy, Diana.

Just the right amount of game. This does a great way of putting fast paced puzzle shooters as a main focus in the gameplay and opens the door for future installments. Not original when it comes to stopping the thing from doing the thing that will destroy the world, but leaves the personal relationship as the driving force behind the best parts. Despite the single guy troupe traveling with found family obligatory little kid/robot/savior we have a simple, yet deep story that is up for interpretation. You might even tear up a little.

I would personally give this a 9 but wanna get the rating higher slightly. This game is SO damn good like yeah the story isn't god tier but Hugh and Diana are such good and enjoyable characters, the gameplay is great, the music is great, the combat is a top 3 video game combat for me, the boss fights are really good (especially the second one that one was god tier). I'm almost finished with the game but I just had to give this review

Getting through Pragmata felt like playing one of those classic action-adventure games from the old PS3/X360 era, in the best ways possible. It is a linear experience, short but not lacking quality side content (even after beating the game), well narrated, and most importantly, fun. Diana and Hugh are an adorable pairing, sure, but Pragmata's strongest asset is without a doubt its unique and challenging combat system.

An early contender for game of the year. The environments and exploration are great and rewarding. The combat is original and a fun game loop. This one of the few games that really gives me that feeling of pure wonder and joy like when a great game came out when I was a kid. It gives me hope for the future of gaming in days when some games are lackluster

Pragmata is an excellent shooter with a unique hacking mechanic that adds real strategic depth and variety, all wrapped around a surprisingly heartfelt sci-fi story.

I wasn't really expecting a GOTY contender when I first started this game. Quickly I realized how amazing this game is. The characters were very compelling from the start and their how their relationship grows made me reminisce on another fantastic duo, Joel and Ellie. Visuals in this game are standard Capcom graphics, meaning they are just world class. Music and atmosphere hit all the right notes throughout the playthrough and environments were varied enough. Exploration in this game is top tier and made me want to find every collectible and upgrade I could before continuing on. Few games are able to make me do this and this is one of them. The amount of love and polish in this game is amazing. I'm trying to think of something negative to say about my experience and can't really come up with anything, except sometimes platforming can be a bit clunky but is easily overcome with practice. How Capcom continues to put out banger after banger needs to be studied and replicated by other game studios.

This game is outstanding. There are few games that leave such a resonating feeling after playing them but this one hits different. I cannot stress how amazing and genuine the ideas and situations are in this. Its art and storytelling at its finest. The way they captured parenthood and also a friendship is out of this world (no pun intended). My personal choice for GOTY and now one of my personal favorite games of all time.

Everything I wanted it to be. It’s like Death Stranding met Dead Space and decided to be wholesome instead of horrific. The mystery kept me hooked, and the ending delivered. Easily a 9/10—don't sleep on this one.

Pragmata’s story feels somewhat Disney-like, and the protagonist’s actions, reasoning, and decision-making given his circumstances are often not believable. The plot is not particularly original, and its psychological and philosophical potential is largely left unexplored. The story also hints at some darker implications that are unfortunately never fully addressed on screen. The style of the dialogue and cinematics borrows heavily from mainstream visual media, which makes it predictable and gives it a somewhat “safe” or commercial feel. The combat system is original and enjoyable, although it only really clicked for me later in the game. At first, I was disappointed that most encounters felt repetitive (hack, shoot, repeat). Visually, PSSR struggles with the game’s overuse of glossy surfaces, resulting in noticeable ghosting artifacts during motion. Overall, my impression of Pragmata is that it aims more to appeal to a broad audience and follow established storytelling and gameplay patterns than to fully explore its themes or deliver a truly novel experience. The hacking-based combat system feels like its main distinguishing feature. Otherwise, it is a well-crafted game, which, for me, is not enough to recommend it.

Despite the short length the game overstays it's welcome thus making the gameplay loop incredibly repetitive long before the credits roll . Story is also paper thin and the interactions between Hugh and Diana are the only thing past the cool boss fights that somewhat made me wanna push to the finish line

t's cool to see a new AAA IP, breaking away from market trends and daring to bring something new. The real-time hacking system during the shooting sequences, is not only fun and intuitive, but also brings some freshness to the genre. However, the stages could have made more interesting use of Diana's hacking skills. She basically unlocks panels and opens doors. I missed more creative puzzles along the way. Also, although she is a lovely character and the father/daughter relationship with Hugh is cute, the script they are in is very underwhelming and doesn't hit you emotionally like it intends. The antagonists are weak too.
But despite its flaws, Pragmata still plays great and the charming protagonists are reason enough to keep going

A game with addictive potential. I spent a ton of time exploring the levels because the gameplay is just so incredibly good and so much fun. A truly great game, also because of the two main protagonists.

Pragmata was a very good game and “something new” as I like to say. The whole hacking and shooting were done nicely and it really need some quick thinking and fast fingers to play this title. Only little negative thing was the overwhelming heap of upgrades and add-ons and whatnots that the gameplay offered. In my opinion less would’ve been more. I will play this again soon as I want to find all the collectibles and extra things. I’m gonna say that this is a must-play title, but if you want a taste of the gameplay before deciding of purchase, there is a demo available.

Pragmata on PS5 delivers a striking sci-fi atmosphere, blending mysterious storytelling with slick visuals and fluid performance. Its mix of action and puzzle-solving feels fresh, while the bond between its protagonists adds emotional depth. Already seen as a strong Game of the Year contender, it highlights Capcom’s incredible run, with the company consistently releasing critically acclaimed hits and maintaining major momentum across 2025 and 2026.

Capcom does it once again with the brand new Ip Pragmata. Pragmata is a very heartwarming game that makes you feel a connection and worry I never didn't know a game could make me feel. I pre-ordered this game once i played the demo I've never played a game like it and when i played the demo i fell in love with the game mechanics right away. One thing i was scared about for once it came out was that the game mechanics and robots would be repetitive but they did really good with changing up the game through out the whole thing .

A good game with very original gameplay, which is appreciated in the current situation. However, I found the story very predictable and typical for this style of game. PS: - 0'5 for key-card format on Switch 2.

The game was so visually gorgeous even towards the ending haha. Diana is probably the cutest little video game girl I ever met in a video game. The hacking and gunplay feels so smooth when implemented. The only problem is after awhile the gunplay/combat does get very repetitive

This new intellectual property redefines the hack-and-shoot style, making the gameplay fun and fluid, but also strategic as the difficulty level increases. It features good music and narrative, especially the deep emotional interaction between the two main characters, exploring emotional issues and human reactions in a way that dialogues with existing examples in pop culture, but with the unique characteristics that only the gaming medium can offer.

Recomendable.

My little review of Pragmata.Okay, so after I finished the main story, I collected everything 100% and finished the simulations. I could say that this is one of the best and most refreshing games that have come out recently. It runs great, its visuals are good, the characters are very likable, the main story is not wow, but it definitely holds up well enough, the enemies are varied enough, and the game ends just in time before it starts to get **** gameplay is very fun, the combination of shooting and hacking is done very smoothly and intuitively. The difficulty is challenging at the right level. For those looking for extras, the game offers many difficult challenges for those who really want to challenge themselves, but they really don't have to do it, so everyone can enjoy it. In general, the game gave a feeling of the past, where they put a strong emphasis on pure gameplay without much confusion around it. Something that did bother me a little was the soundtrack, which is almost nonexistent, but I understood that it was on purpose to give a feeling of loneliness in space. I promised myself I wouldn't go platinum on any game again, but I'm having so much fun that I don't feel like finishing it, so I decided to do it here!

I had a lot of fun playing this game. Gameplay is something fresh and at the same time old. I really like open-worlds, but something I have a need to play good linear action-adventure game. Hacking mechanic is really well made and I didn't get bored after 10 hours. Maybe it's not the longest game, but I think it has perfect amount of content. Storywise it's nothing special. Well made relation between Diana and Hugh. Everything else was just okay for me. Music is good. Mostly background ambient for exploration and fights, that fits the game. And about the visuals, I really love it. Every location looks very good. For me 8/10, great time spent with the game.

Good game but -2 for lazy unfun and really stupid training missions which gatekeep maximizing your stuff. Would not recommend to even play them, and it’s like 20% of the game. Good game made **** by prototype bs* gameplay. Guess it’s from developing the game and put in it everything that was just too bad or unfun for the main game. Seeing over 30 of them even makes me vomit. So you have 15 hrs of gameplay and the rest is ass. Sad.

I’m honestly trying to think of areas of improvement for the game and I can’t, the only thing is that I wish it was longer and I didn’t want the game to end. Beautiful story. Amazing dialogue. Combat is one of the best, the upgrades throughout the game just enhanced it more. The hacking system, the shooting, good variety of weapons, easy UX to understand. Upgrade system felt easy, maybe they could have been a way for people you to reset the upgrades and re-upgrade.

It's an alright little videogame with an interesting combat gimmick that doesn't overstay it's welcome. Not everything needs to be deep and memorable. I had fun, but a 9 is severely overrated. Also the graphics on base ps5 are blurry and weird. Ray tracing can be so ugly and noisy that I'm wondering if its even worth it.

Having an awesome new IP, shows that we need brave companies, not the ones that run for easy money games that are taste less filled with nonsense. This game gave me all I need in gameplay, emotions, and freat visualiz. Great contender for GOTY.
