Onimusha: Warlords8
Jun 27, 2026
The fixed angles can be a bit frustrating but otherwise a fun remake that gives one nostalgia
Nintendo Switch

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter5
Jun 8, 2026
The game starts off great, but the fun is beaten down by little to no new abilities and strategies as the game progresses with very repetitive battles and slow pacing. If you do play, make a ton of saves because you get locked into certain areas and bosses constantly and if you’re not prepared, you’ll need an earlier save

Its got the base ingredients of Elden ring but the matches are too long, extremely fast paced, and chaotic

PRAGMATA10
May 1, 2026
An early contender for game of the year. The environments and exploration are great and rewarding. The combat is original and a fun game loop. This one of the few games that really gives me that feeling of pure wonder and joy like when a great game came out when I was a kid. It gives me hope for the future of gaming in days when some games are lackluster

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II7
Feb 13, 2026
This game has a lot of potential and can be fun in stretches, but many of the quests are either boring or too limited in their options of completion. It’s crazy that you can die of hunger or food poisoning in this game, but you can’t climb a 45 degree slope for 4 feet and arrows can kill you through solid objects. The realism of the game only seems to work against you. There’s also a number of crashes and bugs for a game released over a year ago

Severely underrated game in my opinion. Very similar to SMT, soul hackers, persona, etc if you like that type of game. This game has the added fun of being very Japanese as well
Nintendo Switch

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond7
Dec 26, 2025
Decent game but adds a lot of time doing boring things like interacting with the bad npcs, collecting green crystals, or riding across the desert. Make sure you pay attention to the last cutscene and press a or you have to restart at the last checkpoint and fight the lass boss again. So stupid
Nintendo Switch 2

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory8
Dec 20, 2025
Fun game, but they need to fix a few things. Can’t skip dialogue and cut scenes, the quiz time trophy on ps is bugged still as of December 2025, and some of the boss fights are just gimmicks rather than being well balanced and fun to figure out
PlayStation 4

Digimon Story Time Stranger10

Game of the year so far. Great gameplay, story, soundtrack, and technical performance. An easy choice for game of the year. I just finished it and all I want to do is play it again rather than moving on to anything else

Seems like obsidian is losing its way. The writing is boring, the interfaces need improvements, and the combat has nothing new.

The only way I could recommend this game is if you have major nostalgia for it. I’m a huge fan of old rpgs, but this one just has too many issues. The slow pacing and story are just terrible

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers4

It has some interesting ideas, but fails to deliver. Regular enemies are too easy with not enough rewarding exploration. Boss fights are too often with some of them just being ridiculous difficulty

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster4
Jun 29, 2025
About an hour in, having never played the original game, and it seems like people are heavy on nostalgia for this one. The controls are clunky and both the tutorial and UI are just bad. Seems like a remake with quality of life changes would have been much better. I can't recommend it and am now going to ask steam for a refund

FBC: Firebreak6
Jun 19, 2025
It’s a fun new take on a horde extraction style multiplayer. However, it gets old fast and the grind isn’t worth it when the host can disconnect or kick you and then you get no rewards when this happens. It would be way fix for them to add in a system to at least give you something for your time and effort when you his happens

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon10
May 25, 2025
This is my game of the year so far. IIt‘s great take on the classic open world rpg withtheir own take on the tale of King Arthur. It’s sort of like oblivion remake or avowed, but the combat feels more consequential. I’d give it a 10/10 if there weren’t so many bugs. I’ve had several crashes and weird bugs that requires a reset

I barely made it past the tutorial. The combat was way too focused on learning opponents moveset and timing for parries and dodges and that was a huge disappointment after drudging through the slow start and long, boring cut scenes
PlayStation 5

It’s pretty good for local co-op. I found everything else to be basically unplayable. The ai is terrible in career mode - their offense is terrible but some of the ai opponents block every strike you throw.Hopefully online matchmaking improves as well - it’s fun when the connection is good but most of matches have too much lag

Final Fantasy XII0
Jul 15, 2024
The last of the final fantasy games that I haven’t beaten and I just can’t get through this game. The combat is boring and it’s easier to just turn the speed up to 4x and run through most dungeons but your reward is just terrible cutscenes with the worst voice acting in the series

Just wanted to say I saw a review saying this game has significant input lag and was a rip-off of nier automata (a crap game) which almost discouraged me from buying it. Completely false. It’s got elements of souls combat and sekiro with some more traditional arpg aspects. A great game with good combat, exploration, and music that I would highly recommend

Final Fantasy XIII4
May 18, 2024
This game had a lot of potential. Great music and a good innovative battle system. Unfortunately, there are so many annoying soft locks at bosses, mostly due to being forced to use certain characters as “the leader” or just bad team combinations. It doesn’t help that all the characters are very unlikable either and the cutscenes are mostly too long. Could have been a 9/10 with a few changes which essentially comes down to not constantly locking you in to using certain party member combinations

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster7
Apr 20, 2024
It's decent SMT game, but it's held back by the extreme variance in difficulty of certain dungeons and bosses. The final dungeon you're either going to wander through for hours to figure out, or have to look up a walkthrough. A lot of the bosses are just masochistically hard, requiring a very specific build or personas to beat rather than allowing for more customization and fun

Dec 27, 2023
I came back to Destiny to try this since it was on sale and it disappoints tremendously. Any “new” content is just repackaged old ****. The fireteam finder is disabled and I had to grind to higher level than the rewards of the campaign to even finish it. Those suppressor boss fights are so dumb and boring.

Oct 16, 2023
It has most of the things souls fans love and is worth playing. I would give it an 8/10 of for its level and boss design and great customization. However, the targeting system is so bad that it brings it down to a 7. You will die many times just because the target system selects some far away enemy you aren’t looking at
