While I really like how it looks, the gameplay was mediocre. No fast travel meant a ton of running with a bad mini-map you can’t zoom into. It certainly has potential but it’s just not there yet.

Onirike, from the Spanish DevilishGames, takes us on an adventure that reminds us of the value of dreaming and the memories we have saved. An adventure in three dimensions that brings a certain nostalgic factor to those games that were played at the beginning of the century and that have been forgotten. Platforms, chases and puzzles come together in an entertaining adventure that is weighed down by errors such as input lag in its controls and little variety. A Tim Burton atmosphere and colorful characters await in an adventure that although short, entertaining and has a great moral. All this at an affordable price.

Onirike is an attractive game, cute and with a lot of potential for the story and the values it delivers. It has several details that make it very entertaining, but unfortunately for its poor optimization, the game experience is tarnished.
