2180 total lv ironman here, great game overall but chambers is the stupidest thing ive ever done and ruins my rating for this game. Going dry on this makes you feel like the game is a complete waste of time and wrecks your mental health. It's the reason im quiting the game.

The best MMO I've played to date. The graphics might be a bit outdated, but with the Runeline Client and its graphical mods, accessible through the official Jagex launcher, it delivers an unbeatable nostalgia trip for the ones who played before and an overhauled authenthic experience for newcomers alike. Runelite offers many useful tools, like a quest helper, making the game less tedious by keeping you well-prepared. I remember feeling defeated after losing my hard-earned rune scimitar in the wilderness. Now, this is my farming ground. The game has an amazing community; as a new player, I was gifted millions of GP while questing and exploring. The quests are fascinating, ranging from shaving sheep to political intrigue, epic battles, and magical farming. Get ready to grind, as the gameplay loop involves meeting stat level requirements for quests, which might mean lighting countless fires, chopping down tons of trees, or crafting endless potions. Fortunately, the game is quite AFK-friendly. For combat training, there are methods where you can go AFK for about 20 minutes, just occasionally moving your mouse to avoid logging out. If you like number go up, you like this game. You think it's fun and end up as a goblin playing this game.

I am a new player and I have already spent many hours with OSRS (became a paid member after about 10 hours) and it has been one my favorite time killers. I’m sure hardcore players are far more invested and serious about the game, but as a casual player, it is a perfect game to chill with. There is something very cool about receiving rewards after a long grind or quest…I can definitely feel the impact of the efforts made. If you are a player that wants instant gratification, this isn’t for you, but if you like a slow, methodical journey, this is perfect.

Started playing osrs about 4 years ago, but things have progressively gone downhill since then. Every update caters to reddit crybabies and bot farm owners, and there is usually only 1 major content drop a year that opens 1 or 2 new activities. Devs rely on 3rd party clients to make their game playable and provide QOL updates, as well as regularly pushing updates that cause people to lose gear or account status. There is no support team outside of begging on reddit and hoping a game mod sees it and doesn't try to start an argument with you or throw baseless accusations at you. Everything you kill drops tons of random resources from skilling this tanking the price of those items making those activities pointless and new bosses are impossible without BIS gear and there is a constant powercreep. Every single piece of content in the game is botted to the point that there is almost no reason to do it as a real player, you will not make any money chasing the drop that takes 100s of hours to get. It is incredibly obvious that several devs run gold farms on the side, hundreds of accounts doing the same action on a single world 24/7 for months on end and reporting them does nothing.

game is overrun with bots, real-world traders (RWT), scammers. it can be dangerous for kids tbh. content releases are slow and the gameplay loop requires thousands of hours of boring grinding, which never ends.

Very fun game, but a LOT is locked behind a paywall, which just gets rid of the fun. You just go and play until you have to pay.

Why even make a game if you don't give two damns about the players, we are the consumer you don't even have a real support team. Jagex that's very inappropriate what you did to me.

A cool museum piece, but far too tedious and clunky. A fun reminder of how RuneScape used to be back when I first played; It's amazing to see just how much has changed (and wonder how we lived with the potato graphics). If you're new to RuneScape then definitely go with RS3, you'll have a much more enjoyable time. If you yearn to go back to how things used to be (or really enjoy tedium and hate Quality of Life updates) then this is the game for you.

This is an almost time-less to sit back and waste away your time on. This is how runescape has always been and you know what you are getting into. The competitive nature is all revolved around no-lifing and I believe it's not as big as it used to be, which is awesome. Iron-man is the best game mode to earn the excitement of achieving things in.

people say that the only people who like this game are people who played in '07 but that is wrong. i started playing in late 2018 and i play all the time!

I hadnt played Runescape in over 6 months but since the release of Mobile it has gotten me back into both Mobile and PC (Which are Crossplay). This is one of the few mobile games which dont offer a disadvantage against PC players. Amazing port, getting the full experience on the go. Would love to see future Nintendo Switch or PS4 ports in the future though. Haven't had this much fun playing a mobile game and its free without ads. 10/10 Amazing!
