Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo

It's not a recommended purchase for those who aren't fans of the series (and "Gundam Wing" followers are advised to stay well away), but it was never intended to be anything else.
The control can be a pain but the strength of the Gundam story is good enough to struggle through it.
If, however, this is your first introduction to the Gundam series and a solid game is more your goal, you’ll find the gameplay frustrating and the average graphics and sound disappointing.

I played these game back in the day. The controls are different from what your normally use. It works b/c it gives weight to the gundam. After a while you get use to it. Pretty short game but there is some extra stuff you can do after you beat the game and other gundam get unlocked. The only reason why its getting rated so low is b/c of the controls which if you played the game enough it´s really not as bad as ppl make it out to be. If you don´t mind learning how to play the game you will most likely enjoy it.

Enjoyable despite its flaws, and it offers those who have never seen the original television series or its movie adaptation a condensed version of a classic part of anime history.

What it does have is anime cutscenes and voices lifted right out of the Gundam Wing series, and ultimately, fans of the series are the only ones who will get real enjoyment from it.

GameShark
A snail in an Olympic sized pool moves faster than this game, and it gets to the point where it becomes too frustrating to play.

Only a hollow shell of the landmark 1979 series that started it all. [Oct 2001, p.148]

Once again, Gundam gamers are left with the wrong end of the beam saber. More bad control, less game and more advertisements.
