GMR Magazine
The emulation is solid, delivering sound and gameplay that's up to par. [Jan 2004, p.86]
For many, most of the titles on show will be obscure, but if you want to dip your toes into the bewildering waters of the '80s arcade, this is probably the best introduction released to date.

Most, however, are legitimately entertaining even today. [Mar 2004, p.86]

This is a good collection of old arcade games, but there's not that many that make me come back to this one a lot. I like the sequels better, but I do still have fun with some of the games in this collection.

(An addition to the ps2 review) also the menu is really confusing , some parts look like the developers lazily put it together but I still think this game is good

Game Over Online
You can't really play this game without thinking of the dark, sweat-filled arcades that're now long gone, or of those plastic-sheathed sitdown machines you still sometimes see in bars. Midway Arcade Treasures is like a time capsule, buried back when games were simple, and no less fun because of that.

GamingTrend
A well-rounded collection and as I said earlier I can't think of any big titles not included here.

Cheat Code Central
While not every game included plays as smooth as others, the wide collection and the added features makes this one a must own for any fan of the classic games.

GameSpy
My disappointment in this disc's shortcomings is tempered by the sheer amount of great, classic gaming on offer.

Deeko
While the presentation is poor, the extras suck beyond measure and some of the games are lackluster additions to the collection, the overall value is quite high.

PGNx Media
The games themselves let you tinker with the amount of credits you can use, so that means you can progress regardless of your skill level.

Play Magazine
Not only is the interface clumsy and hard to view, but the bonus content is poorly edited and sloppily thrown together. [Dec 2003, p.83]
