What with the outstanding gameplay, the longevity of playing the beautiful levels over and over and the cracking sound effects, I say get Metal Slug Advance! It may be the greatest 2D shooter to hit the Advance.

While the series hasn't changed drastically in its 9 year history, the latest Metal Slug is still, for some inexplicable reason, hard to put down. How many series can you say that about?

If you like shooters, you would be a fool to not own this game. It's not the best Metal Slug - its easier, has less branching to the levels, and the animation is not as smooth - but it's still awesome.

Игра отличная. Это первая игра в серии для меня и она была хорошая. Сложность игры это главный плюс игры. Сложные боссы. Хорошо сделанные уровни.

Удивительно, но эта игра мне нравится больше оригинальных игр с аркад. Динамичный и нескучный шутемап. Игру советую всем.

Metal Slug's first foray onto the GBA is a resounding success. Even though Metal Slug Advance is a brand-new game, it has all the sights, sounds, and charm of the NeoGeo games it's based on.

It's a testament to the Metal Slug series that the movement to the Game Boy Advance, a medium known for marginalizing and, ultimately, diminishing the play experience of ported games, has not lost any substantial quality in translation. The basic gameplay of Metal Slug Advance is quite entertaining and fun - whilst slightly marred by additions that are rather pointless and don't add anything worthwhile to the experience.

The bosses are either too easy or too irritating. And most of the great enemies we saw in the recent Xbox release are nowhere to be found, leaving dull soldiers and a scattered few fun baddies.

I really loved the PS versions, but this one is good for a portable device, it has everything that fan's wil like and love,. Oh and also funny looking at those helpless soldiers.
