Metal Gear Solid 2 : Sons of Liberty est un chef d’œuvre, et est excellent sur tous les points.Premièrement, l’introduction est spectaculaire et met directe dans le bain. Au niveau de l’histoire, cela découle donc du premier épisode et l’ADN du jeu est toujours aussi présent, c’est une très bonne suite avec qui a elle aussi une superbe histoire pleine de rebondissement et qui divulgue des messages profonds, que ça soit sur la manipulation, mais aussi sur l’intelligence artificielle très présente dans notre époque. L’histoire tient le joueur tout le long du jeu et il n’y a jamais de moments mous, le jeu est super bien rythmé ce qui permet au joueur de ne jamais s’ennuyer. Le jeu a des moments très épiques et a évidemment des cinématiques magnifiques qui sont parfois un peu longue, elles sont accompagnées de magnifique musiques encore meilleur et plus mémorable que dans le premier **** niveau du gameplay, il est excellent, le système d’infiltration est super bien mis en place, il y a beaucoup de variation dans celui-ci ce qui donc empêche un côté répétitif qui est lui inexistant. Le jeu vous oblige parfois à retourner à des endroits déjà visités pour débloquer des passages inaccessibles auparavant avec le système de carte de niveau déjà présent dans le premier opus. Les bosses sont toujours autant bien pensées, ils ont tous des combats originaux, chacun a une façon de se battre et chacun a une façon d’être battue de façon très distincte, ce qui permet un renouvellement efficace et une utilisation des différentes armes obligatoire ce qui permet au joueur de renouveler son **** design des personnages est toujours aussi bien trouvé, tous très originaux. De plus, l’environnement de la carte est un peu moins diversifié que dans le premier, mais renforce le réalisme avec un game design vraiment efficace. Le jeu est parfait et à n’a rien pour déplaire, le jeu nécessite de faire quand même le premier épisode ce qui permettra de comprendre toutes les références liées à celui-ci et de mieux comprendre l’histoire du jeu. C’est l’un des meilleurs jeux d’espionnage qu’y existe, le mélange jeux vidéo et cinéma du jeu est super bien fait et se complète très **** plus, bien que le jeu ait bientôt 25 ans, il a super bien vieilli, il reste très beau et a une super direction artistique. Tout est très bien ficeler, pensé et le jeu vaut toujours vraiment le coup.Metal gear Solid 2 est un incontournable et l’un des meilleurs jeux vidéo auquel j’ai joué alors si vous avez la possibilité de faire le jeu, foncez et n’hésitez pas une seule seconde.

People didn't like raiden in this game but i personally was fine playing as raiden although solid snake would have been perfect but hey raiden is cool too.

A sequel maybe even better than the first one. Konami and Kojima's Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty continues an already classic masterpiece, gives us even a more advanced game and makes us feel the new wonders of 3D. Way ahead of its time for 2001. A true classic.

MGS2 es un juego brillante por momentos y frustrante como sistema. Sus bosses funcionan como ideas puras, casi ensayos interactivos, pero todo lo que los rodea se siente constreñido, reducido, artificialmente controlado. This game was ages ahead of it’s time. Peak story, incredible physics and gameplay, the game play is smooth, the characters are great, the plot and ending are insane, just pure cinema, thank you master Kojima. 11/10

Actually prefer this game over Snake Eater but can understand why someone would prefer that since both games are equally goated. Hope they stop making remakes since they would censor a ton from this since they did with Snake Eater remake also.

One of the most anticipated sequels ever, Metal Gear Solid 2 showcases both the best and worst aspects of Hideo Kojima's storytelling traits. When it's at its best, MGS2 tells an introspective narrative about sequel expectations merged with eerily accurate commentary about the dangers of the oncoming digital age. However, it's marred by endless cutscenes of exposition dumps, and some dreadfully written female characters -- namely, Rose and Emma Emmerich. Thankfully, MGS2 delivers on its gameplay for the most part, with more of what made its predecessor a classic, even if the level design and bosses aren't quite as memorable.

One of the most immersive game stories ever with great voice acting as well. MSGS2 has great and well written characters also, Solid Snake might be the coolest video game character of all time. Raiden is also a good character but he is no where near as cool as Snake and can come of as whiny and cringy at times. Unfortunately the controls for this game are awful and take awhile to get used to especially on PC with a keyboard. However, its still playable but frustrating. You will defiantly get killed repeatedly battling with these controls. Once you get past the horrendous controls the stealth gameplay is fun and satisfying. This game is a 9/10 for its time and honestly would be a 9/10 today if it weren't for the terrible controls.

This is one of if not the best MGS games ever made and is one of the best games ever period. The story is very prescient and relevant today.

First time i played it i didn't think it was such a masterpiece but now that i've replayed it i see what pepole saw playing this game in 2001. This game is such a masterpiece the storytelling is perfect, the plot twists are perfect, the charachters are perfect, in this game everything is perfect. This game is a truly work of art. 10/10

Taking risk is the only way to make a compelling and/or interesting sequel, update in graphics is insane, great gameplay rework, traumatizing story ending codec call making me rethink my whole life, traumatised by every discussion between Raiden and rose too. 8,5/10

A PS2 masterpiece. Over-the-top, indulgent and weird, this twisty sci-fi sequel is even better than MGS. This is creator Hideo Kojima's most ambitious story with post-9/11 statements on AI, child soldiers and government agendas. Cyber ninja Raiden is a terrible protagonist, but the gameplay is sublime. "Sons of Liberty" is filled with tons of secrets, great boss fights and terrific stealth options. It's a highly-inventive, cinematic thrill ride that is a must play for "Matrix" fans. I would rate with a 10 out of 10.

The best game series bar none. Metal Gear is head and shoulders above everything before it and after it. No other stealth game is better than it. FACT.

Metal Gear Solid is the most overrated series of all time. It has a convoluted anime plot that constantly retcons and contradicts itself with every new game. Nonsensical tacticool jargon to entertain easily impressed military otakus. Insanely long cutscenes with terrible choreography/cinematography that look like you gave a middle schooler Blender after having him watch The Matrix. Dialogue that is so pretentious and so far removed from how real people speak that it feels like you're reading through a chuuni teenager's poetry in his diary. Extremely simple stealth mechanics compared to its contemporaries like Thief and Splinter Cell. Thinly-veiled (AKA in-your-face) fetish fuel everywhere, they might as well have just had a golden shower scene or gay r*pe scene straight up for how much the games reference p*ss and feature male as* shots. Most memorable parts of the games are literally just gimmicks like Mantis referencing your memory card saves or doing something ret**ded like taking the fake death pill to get past the game over screen to fight the Sorrow (the entire fight is holding up on the control stick, LOL). These games are **** and have always been **** and I'm tired of pretending they're not. The only slightly good ones are Peace Walker and 5 because they at least are more gameplay-focused, and 5 has some great mechanics, but it's a shame that those mechanics are stuck in these **** games. Kojima is the biggest hack in the entire industry.

This game is near perfect. Story is awesome, and the stealth gameplay is excellent. My only gripe is that cut scenes are SOOOOO LOOOOONG. Hey - it’s a Kojima game.
