An atmospheric First-Person Shooter that stood the test of time. Great gameplay and an interesting story mixed with some occult WW2 alternate history goodness. Still not bested by any other game from the Wolfenstein franchise, or as a matter of fact, any WW2 shooter to date. You just can't get any better than that - even after 25 years.

A story about a man whose life choices finally catch up to him and he's given a job to destroy anything remaining from his past in order to save his family's future, as well as his own. A subtle study of whether a man can ultimately change for better or if he's destined to die as he were from birth.

A well made and well-deserved remaster of the grittiest, harshest, but at the same time most human stories the video game industry had seen to date.

A very human story about love, selfishness and surviving the most extreme circumstances in the most brutal world imaginable.

Quite possibly the most prolific video game ever released. Kojima's greatest, yet underrated moment. A visionary's gift for all to experience. It's not only a video game, but a commentary on the past, the future, and most terrifyingly, the present.

Arguably the most well-known video game of all time but it's certainly not the best. Definitely a step down from the previous entry in terms of almost everything. Inferior story and gameplay is what makes me think of Grand Theft Auto V as not a progression but rather a regression. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game. It's fun to play and the story, albeit quite unambitious and at times too cliché, is decent and the characters in it are fairly well fleshed out. However, the more arcadey style of driving, the oversimplified Euphoria engine, not as engaging story as the one in "IV", as well as Los Santos feeling less alive and less detailed don't make me want to revisit this entry anytime soon.

One of the greatest games of all time. The story, gameplay, music, mechanics, atmosphere, attention to detail are absolutely amazing. The very moment you play the first mission, you know that you're dealing with greatness. A true masterpiece of our times.
