Insanely addictive RTS, got it on sale on steam for $5 and it's a tremendous value. I only played the campaign and the "Age of Kings" portion of the game has given me nearly 70 hours of gameplay. The hours literally melt away when I play this game. It is crack, I'll play at night on a weekend and all of a sudden I see the light from the morning through my window. I will say that there is a learning curve to this game if you're new to RTS like I was. It can be frustrating getting wrecked by the AI but once you get used to it its really fun booming your civilization and destroying other via campaign scenarios. I also really enjoy the historical element of the game and learning about people I never really heard of like Barbarossa really adds to the fun.

MSG 3 is an awesome game with an immersive story, great characters and voice acting. I had a lot of fun playing it and love metal gear solid. Snake is one of the greatest characters of all time and pains me to give this game lower than an 8/10. I really enjoy the stealth gameplay as well, despite the clunky controls which keep it a bit true to the original. I really wanted to give this game 8/10, but I'd say its a 7.5 if you factor in the game's performance. The performance issues really ruin my immersion. This game is poorly optimized and locked at 60FPS. Unless you have an insane rig, the game won't hold a steady 60 FPS without some form of DLSS or FSR, which is fine. For most of the game I had a steady 60 FPS. However, things tank a lot more near the end of the game for me. Even with DLSS on and settings turned down, stutters become much more frequent during certain high action portions with lots of enemies. I have a 5070 and there's no reason that the game should struggle to hold a steady 60 FPS with DLSS on and settings turned down. I find that insane. You shouldn't have to have an $800+ GPU for a smooth performance. The game froze on me 3 times near the end as well which was very annoying. Overall though great game, awful performance, we need to stand up to companies that give us stuff like this and call it out when it happens.

More of the same from 1+2, honestly shouldn't really be a separate game. It feels like a longer DLC version of 1+2, which i really enjoyed and rated 8/10. 3+4 is really fun thought and I hate to give it a 7/10 but I really feel like they could've improved on 1+2 instead of giving us essentially the same game with a different skin.

Expands on the formula of Going commando with some much needed quality of life improvements such as auto strafe and an extra weapon wheel etc. It's a blast to play and the graphics and gameplay hold up to this day. Would probably be a 9/10 for its time but I'd say with modern standards its around an 8/10

One of the most immersive game stories ever with great voice acting as well. MSGS2 has great and well written characters also, Solid Snake might be the coolest video game character of all time. Raiden is also a good character but he is no where near as cool as Snake and can come of as whiny and cringy at times. Unfortunately the controls for this game are awful and take awhile to get used to especially on PC with a keyboard. However, its still playable but frustrating. You will defiantly get killed repeatedly battling with these controls. Once you get past the horrendous controls the stealth gameplay is fun and satisfying. This game is a 9/10 for its time and honestly would be a 9/10 today if it weren't for the terrible controls.

This game is a blast to play, atmosphere and gameplay are top notch. Dead Space's awesome sound effects, graphics and gunplay made blasting away at creatures on the Ishimura never get old. The game ran very well on my ps5 with extremely minimal visual bugs and stutters. Unfortunately the incredible gameplay is held back by lackluster writing, dialogue and poor voice acting. The characters range from bland to unlikeable and/or annoying. I did not want to listen to any of these forgettable characters talk, and found it to be a drag when there was any extended dialog that halted the action. The romance storyline Isaac has with his girlfriend was extremely cheesy. However despite these flaws this game is 100% worth playing and I had a great time with it.

It's a masterpiece. Valve was way ahead of their time when they made this in 2004. It has aged like fine wine and a lot better than many modern day shooters. Graphics hold up well, physics are incredible especially for its time. Story and enemies are awesome. Iconic levels such as Ravenholm and Nova Prospect are ridiculously fun to play. This is a must play. I've been playing many games from his era and none hold up as well as Half Life 2. The game is an absolute blast. There are also many mods that spice things up like SMOD which I also recommend.

Big fan of the original game. Going into this game i thought it was near perfect and it is insanely good. Combat is pure adrenaline, graphics are gorgeous, gathering resources and exploring the environments is addicting. Blowing zombies to bits with the shotgun and magnum never get old. This game has the DNA of one of the greatest games of all time with tons of great updates that make the combat and overall gameplay a lot less clunky. For example, I love the introduction of the knife/parry system. Mercenaries mode is also free and a total blast. A lot of new story elements were added, some for the better and some for the worse. Incredibly enjoyable experience aside from some minor annoyances and nitpicks. First, the voice actor who plays Ada Wong is absolutely terrible. She sounds like she's literally just reading the script with no emotion. This is immersion breaking and very annoying. Second, they decided to dress up Ashley like an 80 year old grandma/college professor for most of the game and gave her an ugly helmet-like haircut. I thought this was pretty lame as a fan of the original. Some of the dialogue is extremely corny and cheesy but sometimes it works and is funny. Overall though its a must play if you can ignore some very minor annoyances. The pros FAR outweigh the cons.

This game is an 8.5/10 for its time. I played the remastered version ps3 collection version and had a lot of fun. The combat is great, the graphics have held up extremely well, also the game is hilarious. I also really enjoyed buying and upgrading Ratchets collection of weapons that suit many different playstyles. However, if I hold it to modern standards I'd say its a 7/10 Unfortunately the camera is a bit janky but a huge improvement from the first game with the inclusion of strafing. The first game is unplayable IMO because of how bad the camera is. The janky camera for me in Going Commando just a minor annoyance but I understand the game is a product of its time. I found most of the side activities aside from the combat arena (racing and ship battles) tedious, although I enjoyed exploring the planets main and alternate routes. Also, some of the boss fights near the end of the game are annoyingly bullet spongey but not very difficult (mainly mech guy you need to kill with the turret and clanks final mech battle) This just made it feel like a very lame way of padding some of the boss fights. Aside from these nitpicks its a great game. I defiantly recommend it.

Really enjoyed my time with the trilogy, especially vice city and san andreas. GTA III shows its age a lot more than the others but was still fun. It was awesome to play these classics with upgraded graphics quality of life improvements and framerate on ps5. There are forsure some bugs but nothing game breaking. Got it on sale and gave me a lot of bang for my buck that gave me around 120 hours of gameplay for around $20. I'd recommend it

I understand that for its time this game was innovative and inspirational but this game has aged terribly. The voice acting is comically bad, so bad its charming. The controls are clunky and janky. The story is good but I'd just watch a game movie on youtube and save yourself from the tedium of boring "gameplay" and jank.

I enjoyed the game, but its nothing spectacular and its buggy. A bit of a "we have resident evil 2 at home" game. I did enjoy the Lovecraftian theme and enjoyed the story but for sure not worth full price. I'd say wait for a deep sale if you enjoy this genre of game.

I honestly can't believe how many positive revies this game has. The art style/graphics are cool and combat is ok, but man did I dislike this game. Overall this game was a major SLOG. I wanted to like the story but it got insanely boring found myself starting to skip the dialogue near the endgame because the characters talk way too much saying very little substance. I did not find many of the characters very likable except for Bowman who I thought was the only standout character. Despite all this, I did enjoy the soundtrack though. Hot take apparently, but save yourself some valuable time and skip this one IMO

Immersive and fun game that starts to overstay its welcome a bit near the end. The story is good despite some weird plot holes and overly dramatic scenes that drag on and on having me checking my phone out of boredom. Despite this, The antagonist Nikishki is well written and Kiryu is a very cool character. I enjoyed the combat although it gets a bit repetitive near the end. There is a crazy amount of content in this game, almost an overwhelming amount making a completionist playthrough absolutely masochistic Overall, despite its flaws, I had a really good time with this game and it had me hooked on running around doing side missions etc. 8.4/10
