MediEvil on PSP feels too much like a half-hearted rehash of the old PlayStation game, but with with some new faults. The fighting degenerates into a simple hack’n’slash, despite different weapons and attack combos. The controls are just not good enough for varied combat. Despite the repetitive and simple combat and platforming sections, the reason you keep on playing is the humour. Sir Dan is a very sympathetic character and its fun to follow his erratic adventures around Gallowmere and his strange interaction with other characters. Voice acting is excellent too [Sept 2005, p.66]

It's an alright remake, but there are a few changes I'm not as big on. Like the wooden sword, it's quite literally replaced immediately but the short sword, why was it added? The original game you got the short sword. Most weapons are two handed now, making the sheilds even more useless. They weren't very useful in the original game but I liked to have them equipped. Overall a fine remake, but I think I'll stick with the original in some aspects.

Fun and charming game, i dont understand the hate it got back then. To be honest,i like this version more than the original ps1 game even though it cut off many level from the ps1 game, but the minigames and humor of this version are very enjoyable and compensate the missing level for me.

Really easy to pick up and play. The controls are very easy and responsive. The mini puzzles that are presented to the gamers are easy enough to understand yet still provide a nice challenge.

It's challenging, fun, genuinely hilarious, and sets the benchmark for future PSP games in this genre - the likes of Daxter and Prince of Persia have a lot to live up to.

A classic game. This was my childhood. Used to play this on the psp. Went back to play it this year and i still love it just as much.

This game is pretty hard but overall its pretty fun. Nice sense of humor. Mindless combat. Cool weapons. Enivironments are meh. in 2020 I'd say it holds up

Lo positivo es que puede jugarse en portátil. Desgraciadamente el diseño tanto estético, como de niveles, es considerablemente peor que el del juego original.
