Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports
Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports won’t replace my daily Madden NFL or NBA2K sessions, but they were a nice distraction and offered enjoyable arcade vibes throwing it back to an era that focused on simpler gameplay and colorful aesthetics. While I appreciate the final product, it’s ultimately hampered by a lack of variety, so if the developers follow this up, I’d love to see an expanded version.
Looney Tunes Wacky World of Sports is, quite simply, an unfun game. It doesn't shine aesthetically, despite being based on the iconic cartoons, and the animations never manage to shake off a certain stiffness. The sports offered are characterized by a less than decisive register, which attempts to be simultaneously carefree and deeper than expected: it is never fully either of the two.
Look, the sports themselves work, but there’s not much fun to be found despite the loveable cast of characters that are present.

This game is a huge steaming pile of garbage. The greedy developers are charging $50 for a shovelware game. That is extremely expensive. This game is severely lacking in both quantity and quality to even justify the outrageous price of $50. The graphics are a joke, it literally looks like a mobile game. This whole art style stuff is just an excuse for developers to be cheap and lazy. The physics are beyond horrible. The controls are awful. This game lacks content. The roster is ridiculously small, there are only 10 characters to choose from. There are only 4 sports too choose from: soccer, golf, basketball and tennis. Switch Sports has all of those sports and then some. The basketball minigame was implemented 2 years after the release of Switch Sports, but better late than never. On top of that, the quality was better for just $10 extra. Even then Switch Sports was too expensive and indie quality, but this takes the cake. This game may be $10 cheaper than Switch Sports, but the quality of this game isn't even close to justify it being anywhere near the $60 price range. ● There is only local multiplayer. You cannot play any of these minigames online. The developers were too cheap and lazy for online functionality. The crowd is terrible. Although it's worth pointing out that the Street Fighter 6 crowd is worse. What is the meaning of this Capcom? Imagine making details worse than a GameMill game. It just goes to show how greedy and lazy Capcom are. The animations are atrocious. The gameplay is boring and repetitive. The commentary is trash, and don't even get me started with that irritating music. The audio is laughable. The soccer net in the goal post doesn't react when you score a goal, it is completely static. There are too many bugs and glitches. Given how low quality all of the sports are, I have no doubt in my mind that they were intended to be minigames for some kind of adventure game or Mario Party-esque game. But the lazy developers tapped out to whatever project that was, so they recycled all of the minigames from the scrapped game and turned it into a sports game with Looney Tunes characters. What a bunch of lazy cheapskates. I don't recommend this game at all.

Alright, buckle up, Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports—now that’s a ride. Imagine Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck throwing down in sports that aren't really sports. I mean, what even is "sports" anyway? It’s got pies flying and rockets goin' every which way. You ever wanted to see Yosemite Sam try to pole vault on a bottle rocket? This game’s got it, pal.Graphics? Bright. Real colorful, almost too colorful if you squint right. They look just like they do on TV, but they're, you know, 3D… sorta. The controls, though—hoo boy! It’s basically impossible. But that's kinda what makes it hilarious, right? Sometimes the controls just do their own thing, so half the time you’re in this sweaty battle with the remote more than the actual **** don’t even get me started on the sound—classic Looney Tunes, loud and obnoxious and everything you’d hope. You get Bugs calling everyone a "maroon," and there’s Daffy, yakkin' away. Feels just like Saturday mornings all over ****, if you’re looking to go solo on this? Not much there. But throw in some friends? Pure madness. A laugh riot. Just don’t expect to keep coming back over and over. It’s like fast food—good for the moment but not a full-course meal, if you catch my drift.Final verdict: 8 outta 10. Grab a drink, get a friend, maybe two, and dive in.

The Looney Tunes universe is still amazing, with classic characters that haven't lost their charisma. However, the various poorly executed mechanics for sports, the overall refinement of the game, and a visual style that doesn't do justice to the universe presented deliver a mediocre experience.

Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports has some flourishes of fun, but the clunky movement and unresponsive controls let it down.

The Games Machine
A multi-discipline sports title starring the Looney Tunes is a good idea... in theory. Unfortunately with only nine characters, four disciplines and two modes Wacky World of Sports translates it into a game poor in both content and depth

Unfortunately, the slow, cumbersome movement undoes the otherwise likeable presentation. We’re glad this era of licensed games is slowly making a comeback, we just wished this was a little bit more fun to play.

Between Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports and Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game, Bugs Bunny and friends sure haven't been treated well in recent years when it comes to video games. Here's hoping we get a remake of Time Busters; that was a fun game.

Looney tunes Wacky World of sports it's an interesting approach to arcade sports with a fun and decent gameplay throughout the 4 sports that are featured in this game. Still, 50$ are quite a bit too much for the content it offers. Would still highly recommend to play it with friends or family.
