A well-considered and well-put-together ground-up remake of a stone-cold classic. Halo: Campaign Evolved is a work of skill and care that should keep fans old and new smiling from start to finish.

Splatoon Raiders has an incredibly engaging core gameplay loop, an always-engaging style, and plenty of heart. It just can’t overcome a lack of gameplay variety and some heavy-handed dialogue.

Proof that Western anime buffs can sometimes pull off the kind of stuff that inspired them with epic flare, Denshattack digs surprisingly deep with its insane premise to deliver a fact paced game of score and style that offers a whiplash inducing tour of sizable swathes of Japan in the process.

So much promise, but delivering so little. This really is James Harden: The Video Game.

After all these years, Edward Kenway’s story is still the best virtual pirate experience out there, and this version only confirms that. A top-tier remake of a top-tier classic.

LEGO Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight knows its audience of Arkham fans, and youth, and strikes an exceptional balance of meeting the gaming needs of both. It is the Arkham game you never knew you needed.

A classic title is somehow better than ever before. Star Fox (2026) looks and plays better than it ever has. It’s still brief, but it’s brilliant.

The Adventures Of Elliot: The Millenium Tales is not without its small faults, but there are so many excellent plotlines and systems to the game that are begging to be explored by the player.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a brilliant game, but it is impossible to overlook the significant visual downgrade to get the game going on Nintendo's portable platform.
