A nice collection, but nothing excels. [Issue#186, p.79]

Superstars didn't just drop the ball, it falls over, face first, into a steaming pile of horse dung. Avoid. [May 2017, p.69]

Mario Sports Superstars is bursting at the seams with a varied collection of enjoyable content. If you're a fan of Mario's sports games then this is one compilation that you'll likely find yourself enjoying for years to come.

Some well executed mario sports, but nothing more. Football is nothing special and incredibly repetitive. Baseball is just bullcrab and doesn't work properly. Tennis is the most basic version of Mario Tennis you can have, but that still is still fun. Golf and Horse Riding cary this game. The first is a well-done golf mode with better courses than those of Golf super rush. And horse riding is incredible. The courses are fantastic and show beautiful landscapes with nice soundtracks and new mechanics. And there is a built in horse simulator just to power up your horses stats. Two cool, two mid and one bad Gamemode make a mid game, but not as bad as people say it is...

Parece um acumulado de demos e não de fato jogos completos.

For a seemingly simple game there is a lot to discover in Mario Sports Superstars. Everyone can instantly play this game, but there is enough content to keep coming back to it. The horse racing is also a fun new addition to the Mario sports series.

Mario Sports Superstars won't wow any 3DS fan, since a lot of the content is recycled from other franchises and other 3DS games (such as Mario Golf World Tour e Mario Tennis Open), but, taken for what it is, a nice collection of very good sport-inspired minigames, can grant several hours of fun to both veterans and newcomers.

Underrated game for sure! Don’t know what the reviewers here even consider good. Mario Sports Superstars offers 5 sports, soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, and horse racing. Quite cool to see Mario ride a horse. Each sport has a tournament mode for single player which gets progressively challenging. For multiplayer you can play locally or online with friends or random people. One additional thing you can get is amiibo cards which you can use to get superstar status on characters in each sport. I really like the cards design. The games’ graphics are so good (almost looks like a switch game in HD), great music you can even listen to it in game freely, the animations of the characters are great (some give me a chuckle). Bottom line: Mario Sports Superstars is a great game to pickup and play by yourself or with others. Go become a superstar in Mario Sports Superstars!

It's a quite basic sports game, but it's quite fun if we play with friends or online. Although it's nothing new, its formula still works.

Mario Sports Superstars left me with a weird mess of feelings. Some aspects, such as the tennis, baseball, and some aspects of horseback riding and golf were genuinely enjoyable, if lacking in long-term replay value. Others, such as the golf course reskins, everything in soccer, the tedium of horse care, and the fact that the best versions of every character in every sports are locked behind paywalls left a sour taste in my mouth. Should you get this game? If you like Mario Sports in general, well, sure. But if you’re only looking at a single sport or just looking for more 3DS fun before you cave and purchase a Switch, Mario Sports Superstars is a title you can skip without regret.

Mario Sport Superstars is a low-ambition compilation, created with light versions of games already released (Mario Tennis Open, Mario Gold World Tour) and some new trials, from the very bad baseball to the refreshing horse races.

Mario and friends have tried out a number of different sports over the years and the latest struggles to live up to that long legacy. The core gameplay of each of the sports is solid, but it feels like the most basic form of each was plucked from a superior title.

Mario Sports Superstars does nothing to help the series make its case. In fact, it’s quite possibly the most aggressively simplistic game I’ve ever played from Nintendo.

Let's agree that this game is better than Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, but it may need a little more Nintendo love, but i did enjoy this sports game, and it's amiibo support is amazing, using Mario amiibo figures and cards? More interesting than Animal Crossing amiibo series (No offense).

Bit underwhelming, had high hopes for this game, ended up being just a bit disappointing.
