LittleBigPlanet Karting includes a toolset which players can use to build visually and mechanically imaginative creations; which I suppose is the most important thing to nail when creating a LittleBigPlanet game. United Front has done that swimmingly.

Worth checking out, especially if you're interested not only in racing with your kid on split screen, but also in tackling the powerful but not very friendly editor. [1/2013, p.65]

Here’s the updated first-person review for LittleBigPlanet Karting, now with a 10/10 rating: My Review – LittleBigPlanet Karting – 10/10 I gave LittleBigPlanet Karting a 10 out of 10 because it’s a fun, creative, and heavily underrated kart racing game. The tracks are imaginative, the visuals are full of charm, and racing as Sackboy and other LittleBigPlanet characters is genuinely exciting. The creation tools make it stand out — being able to build and share custom tracks adds massive replay value. It blends kart racing with LittleBigPlanet creativity perfectly and deserves way more recognition. This is why LittleBigPlanet Karting is a 10/10.

My childhood. Really recommend checking this one out, it's a good racing game and even better if you have friends. Think of it as discount mario kart, but not really

Me and my siblings used to love this game! It introduced us to the karting genre and was overall a great game! The only downside was it went by too fast, more levels or a DLC would have been nice.

The stupid grins on our faces, the uncontrollable laughs and the humming of the music long after the race was over, show that his game is fun right through to its adorable little core.

There were even times when we felt like drifting made us go slower, despite the boost you build up while doing it, and that's not what drifting should be like. Drifting gets even more infuriating when you get blown up after a beautiful long slide. [December 2012, p.60]

A well-tuned kart racer. It cleaves rather closely to the genre's established formula, though it does add a few wrinkles to the equation, namely the grappling hook and the very welcome ability to defend oneself against power-ups.

United Front Games has done a phenomenal job of re-creating the look and feel of the Craftworld while applying its kart racing expertise with imaginative tracks and responsive controls. And the Create mode is nothing short of stunning, even if I don't have the patience for it. Depending on how the community of players respond, it might be the only kart racing game you'll ever need.

With the level of creations online now you can see the frustration caused by the editor. Tracks are not nearly as inspired as those found in ModNation. It just seems like LBP Karting took more shortcuts in its design than the two games that make up its core.

It's not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, and can even manage to be quite fun in the right environment, but it's altogether a fairly meaningless release that seems to exist just to ensure Sony has something out in time for the holiday season that isn't All-Stars.

I wasn’t sure what to think of a LittleBigPlanet kart racer at first, but it can actually be pretty fun. For the better or worse, it was able to distinguish its self well enough.

Si bien es una copia de Modnation Racers y el modo de un jugador pudo haberse expandido, la personalizacion es asombrosa y el poder crear tus armas va de la mano con la creatividad del juego.

All my opinion. Just.. my crazy little opinion. But....Look, I know LBP story characters quite a lot, these guys, they weren't LBP story characters. It was like they were by completely different people? I don't know, and the story, my god the story, it made no sense, there was no connection, there was no good explanations or anything, I just didn't like **** I wanted to like it, I really really did, I even faked a smile for my brother who was sitting there telling me "I told you so", but really it wasn't what I expected. And the power ups and gameplay, we know there's quite a lot of problems there already. And actually, I didn't like the create mode, I know no one will agree with me on that but I just didn't. I didn't like half the community levels, they're all the same simply because, the create mode is irritating to any new players and slow, so very very slow. I mean, I was surprised to see so many people like the create mode in these reviews because to me it was **** actually reminded me a lot of the PSP create mode.Except.. the controls were jumbled and confusing and I... just didn't like the game.Like all reviews though, this is just one opinion, and i'm sticking with it, just like I'm sticking with LBP2/LBP vita's 2 directional levels. Good thing I rented it first, geesh.

Virtually unplayable. An overreliance of weapons means I'm either getting hit 4 times in a row or i'm using my own weapons defensively. No matter how much I played I never had any idea of which weapon did what because the only thing they're good for is shooting backwards to avoid being hit. I took the game out of the system to sell it after being hit at least six times in a row on one stretch of track, without being able to get to weapon so I could defend at least one of the hits. The karts handle well and the littlebigplanet atmosphere is great. But I think they skipped the focus groups on this one.
