The base game was beautiful and breathtaking taking and then Guerrilla come out with this woke dumpster fire. They just made Aloy gay to be inclusive. Like Aloy and Seyka just kiss out of nowhere, forced romantic tension, and forced chemistry. Aloy and Seyka could have been besties not girlfriends. the world is beautiful the boss fight is super cool and Walter Londra (the villian) is well written but everything else is just boring and not cool. The many times when she turned away Erend (a cool character that Aloy would be good with) and kisses a woman after meeting her like a week before is just outrageous. I am all for people liking who they want and believe that if a woman likes another they have 100% to no doubts but this? trash. Absolute woke dumpster fire. do not waste your time. I loved the base game 10/10 but this? nope never again.

La trama è davvero coinvolgente e arricchisce la storia principale. I nuovi nemici e le nuove armi sono fantastici, ve lo consiglio vivamente!

Pues otras 20 horitas de expansión. Y qué final tam espectacular por un lado, y tierno y bonito por otro. Qué juegazo. Deseando que llegue la 3ª parte.

Survive two mass epic boss battle and die on a janky jump (game issue in general). Adds more tech and gear to the base game found in the new area. The Two stage final boss fight was visually messy and confusing. So I was more fighting against bad confusing visuals than felt like being actual challenged in the game. The general game play was about as challenging as the base game, but I was already level 50. Story wise I got more of the Quen an uninteresting faction. The final boss for all his long life was kind of petty human. Hoping for something grandiose and not pathetic in my villains. Sam Witwer can really sell a video game character, but even he is still at the mercy of the writing. The base game Zenith were very much fun evil grandiose villains than this DLC one. Nice to see Sylens being mostly Sylens. He's always a good intellectual and moral foil for Aloy's naive do gooder nature.

The main Forbidden West game is more of the same from the first game but has a much more forgettable plot. As for the Burning Shores DLC itself, other than the main villain Londra and the final boss fight, the Burning Shores isn't very good. The Burning Shores DLC is full of Marvel quips in its dialog between characters. If like me, you're tired of marvel humour then this will annoy you to no end. It's particularly bad with the Seiyka companion, who's present for most of the DLC. I don't know how this went from the writing of Forbidden West (which was forgettable but serviceable) to god annoying in the Burning Shores. The Seyka romance also comes out of nowhere in a bad way and is completely unrelatable. Yes it's optional but the writing up until the choice feels so forced and artificial. The romance just isn't there between the two characters. It's just bad writing. And yes it's yet another female Sony protagonist who's into women, what a shocker. Pro tip for game developers out there: if you're making a game primarily aimed at men, then hire a male writer for your story, even if you want a female lead, even if you want her to be into women, even if you want to put progressive messaging into your game. Men have better success rates writing for other men because they know what men like. Because they know what men find fun, what they find funny, what they find cool, what they find hot. Men know what other men want from their escapism. Not doing this risks a repeat of what has happened with the book industry, few women can actually write scripts that appeal to men, hence why that industry isn't worth what it was 15 years ago and less men read nowadays. It's a bad sign that the most interesting character in this game is the bad guy. Someone who's literally a horrible person is more interesting than all other characters in this game. That should say a lot about the writers lack of talent. The Burning Shores has had the unintended affect of removing my interest in Horizon 3. I just don't trust that they can make a story that's worth investing 60+ hours in.

Horizon Forbidden West is a breathtaking masterpiece! Boasting some of the most stunning graphics in gaming history with jaw-dropping detail and vibrant worlds. The combat is exhilarating, featuring top-tier animations and an exceptional bestiary. A superb soundtrack, a gripping and rich story. The Burning Shores DLC adds epic adventures with fresh areas, new weapons, challenges, and one of the best boss fights ever!

Equivalent to the Frozen Wilds DLC from Zero Dawn.

Terrible woke agenda politics in video games. Why? Just why? Look at every modern commercial failure. Buzz light year movie, Elio, Snow White, Bud Light.... do I need to continue? Disney has had more flops in the last 5 years than in the previous 50 years combined all because of the woke agenda. Unfortunately, Sony appears to be following the same trend. Great game, stunning graphics, fun gameplay, completely ruined by some forced lesbian relationship and making Aloy gay out of nowhere. It doesn't even fit the story. Absolutely horrible decision that makes no sense. Like it or not, Woke does not sell. FACT 55% of Americans voted republican, not woke nonsense. That means when you market yourself to the woke left, you are immediately telling 55% of the country that they shouldn't buy your game. I hate that they didn't even give you the choice, game just forces you to be gay. Huh? Horrible. Ruined one of my favorite characters.

absolutely loved the depth of the storyline and the final fight was satisfying — I just wish the playtime was longer!

Let's face it - people here be hating because of the (optional - you can choose!!!) ending, this dlc contains the best boss fight ever in a video game created and is hands down a 10 outta 10

The fact this costs 20$ for being mostly empty filler content and forced dialogues is insane. I mean at the singularity quest you already got the worst way to sequel bait. I mean, what kind of director thinks that yeah, the best think to unaturally extend the game was by making the marvel type flying space bad capitalism billionaires have made a cloud of themselves that is invunearable and somehow able to just do anything is pretty weird way to continue the game than literally any other idea. I mean the zero dawn plot was normal, then it got a bit of the track with forbidden west and at the end it just completely loses track. There is also barely any actual interraction with the main characters excepta bunch of fetch quests. And then the DLC. Im not even mad about the fact that its a lesbian relationship, i would be mad that it all is so forced. Like you are telling me like yesterday she didn't know who Aloy was and today they are already kissing? It literally adds nothing to the story, and there is already so much LGBTQ content in the game, and politics with Ukraine. Like who is even coming up with these ideas. Zero Dawn had story, Forbidden west is just filler, and Horizon 3 will be what? 200 hours of playing fetch while having the most unrealistic plot protection?

Just am awesome DLC! The map size is great and it doesn't feel like too much doing all side quests and collectibles, unlike the base game, here everything offers a reward and is really well paced! Don't fall for that "stop woke" b$... the game is perfect

Great addition to the franchise. Another awesome setting with some great new machines and weapons. Storyline is not as strong as the DLC Frozen Wilds, but it's still great. Gameplay is immense! They could have made Seyka a bit more cheerful imho. For the price, fantastic!

Is it as good as the base game? Maybe not, but it's still a pretty decent expansion nonetheless. It adds more content and a brand new area. It also gives you more lore to complement the base game's. It's worth it, in my opinion. Ignore those calling it woke. Sure Alloy kisses another girl. You can choose not to it it bothers you that much. There are certain games that definitely push certain political agendas into their games just for the sake of it but don't think this is one of them.

Loved the game! Looking forward to Horizon 3. Wish the game longer and more hint to the world lore. I did run into few bugs but I dont really mind cuz the game run smoothly for 30 hrs+

More focused than the main game. Great quests. Great character development - that is in line with the character from the main games

For 20€ it’s generally great. The story was a bit fast but overall solid. There are some nice missions and mechanics in the DLC and cool new weapons. And for anyone criticizing the ending, nobody forces you to do it. I genuinely like the **** representation because it’s optional and not forced.

L'aventure continue, et c'est une excellente nouvelle pour les joueurs. Ce nouveau contenu promet des heures de jeu supplémentaires. On pourra ainsi explorer de nouveaux environnements et découvrir de nouvelles intrigues. L'expérience de jeu s'enrichit et se prolonge pour notre plus grand plaisir. Il est temps de se replonger dans cet univers captivant.

Ayant plus que moyennement apprécié forbiden west la faute a un open world pas tjs bien construit et une ambiance ratée la plus part du temps. Et bien je dois dire que ce dlc a los Angeles fait beaucoup mieux!L’histoire bien que plutôt simple fonctionne beaucoup mieux avec une accompagnatrice intéressante et qui se montrera ni inutile ni envahissante lors des mission principal. Si l’intrigue se termine plutôt vite le gros de la durée de vie se situera d’avantage dans son monde ouvert, tellement mieux construit et qui en plus est d’une beauté remarquable avec des panoramas saisissants. iI y’a tellement a faire,on a envie de s’y perdre et ça tombe plutôt bien car l’environnement regorge de **** secret a dénicher derrière une énigme ou un enchaînement de plateforme au milieux des ruine de L A. Les embranchements se multiplient, mer, terre et même ciel! Oui oui! Et seront autant de situations ou une rencontre avec une machine peux se produire,les affrontements de machines qui ce montre d’ailleurs tjs aussi efficace et impressionnant apportant au passage son lot de nouvelles **** final ce dlc n’a pas tout à fait la même approche que le jeu et c’est clairement pour son bien, j’espère que Guerilla saura s’appuyer dessus pour une éventuelle suite!! Holy ****! What an amazing DLC! I love it! Hope the next game is like this DLC.

The Dlc is One of the best graphics on ps5,probably a sneak peek for the next upcoming title,very cool area/environment,final boss battle(a LOT better than the base game itself)hopefully they put the same effort like this Dlc for the next game,if you wondering why the game got review bombed,it turn out that aloy is a LGBTQ and they make it very clear with one kiss scene at the end

This was my favourite part of Horizon Forbidden West, with a much tighter story and a truly epic final mission and boss. It looks stunning, with lots of water and lava. Highly recommended if you are a fan of the main game. All this fuss over an optional cutscene? People need to get over themselves.

Fell in love with the franchise with the first, and it just got better and better with each DLC. RIP lance and hope they do him justice in the third one. I am on my 4th new game+, my only complaint and it is a downside in my mind, unless you want the visuals and crap then there is not alot to spend the currency, once you have all the best weapons then you are done. Fortunately you can upgrade the best weapons through in game equipment. I have to say i really really like this game it has depth and replay-ability that makes me pleased i purchased a ps5 for this game.

Wow. The entire horizon franchise just blows me away! I fell In love with zero dawn and the Frozen wilds, and forbidden west and the burning shores are on the exact same level of perfectness! I literally can’t describe how much this world means to me, and it will forever stay in my heart!️

Man, I enjoyed this DLC! storywise, it's a good one in pursuit of Walter Londra, remnant of Far Zenith, battles also good too as well the whole map exploration The last part with aloy and seyka didn't hit me well. But that can be solved by savescumming to see 3 different cutscenes options.

I really enjoyed Burning Shores when it came, but the writing of the forced sexuality/romance didn't make any sense and it would've been better if the whole part was optional rather than the end of it. Or just maybe written well instead of just throwing it in there.

Hope after one year Sony gave up to delete reviews with criticism. Big price, PS5 required, nothing new (only 2-3 new enemies), pure story, review manipulations and marketing pressure on review platforms.

Gioco bellissimo, progettato e apprezzato con dettagli fantastici. Peccato per il solito indirizzo culture woke, che a mio parere pare completamente inutile.

More of the same in the world of Horizon, but with a colossal boss at the end. That said, it’s another flawless game.

Nice but easily skippable DLC. I expected a lot more from the PS5-only version. The most obvious comparison is Phantom Liberty for Cyberpunk 2077, which feels like a really new-gen addition to the game. However, this one is a fine but rather boring addon.

The sequel itself was a bit weak and the story was full of logical holes, but the sequel in the DLC had hardly anything to do with the main story and therefore felt irrelevant. A missed opportunity. Yes, the game looks good and there is nothing wrong with the successful combat system, but it wasn't anything innovative either. What was noticeable, however, was that almost every male character was incompetent, toxic or stupid in one way or another or had to die and that really bothered me the longer I played. You can see what the game is trying to tell you, more or less subtly, and that is extremely problematic and sexist. I can also imagine that it will continue like this in the next part and that is why I won't be getting the game again in the future. It's a shame because the first part is one of my favorite titles.

Horizon Forbidden West is a game that did not meet my expectations. The graphics and visual effects look outdated against the background of modern games, and the optimization leaves much to be desired. The controls are also inconvenient, especially during battles. The plot seems unfinished, and the characters are superficial. The game offers little innovation compared to the previous installment. I recommend waiting for discounts or trying the game as part of a PlayStation Plus subscription to rate it at a lower price.

Ich liebe die detailverliebe Welt und Maschinen. Es macht einfach Spaß, durch die verschiedenen Biome zustreifen und zu jagen. Die Story fand ich im ersten Teil jedoch eine Ticken besser. Freue mich schon auf eine Fortsetzung!
