An expansive open world. Controls are rather confusing at the start, but it’s something you just got to get used to. No handholding nonsense, just explore, fight, learn, explore more and more, and just keeps going.

Can be a very difficult game for people who aren't used to action heavy games. I'm definitely not a souls-like games expert, but persistence is starting to pay off and now i'm enjoying the game a lot. Lots of way to customise the character through skill tree, stats upgrade and gear progressions. Great gameplay, music and art style. Story is on a simpler side, that might turn some people off, but keeping the story simple was probably intentional as the focus is on the action gameplay.

Graphics and art direction was amazing. Story felt good, expanding more from Zero Dawn. DEI becomes so blatantly obvious once you reach around half way mark. Girl boss galore. Otherwise very solid gameplay.

Amazing gameplay, story, setting etc. Vert cinematic and feels like i was playing a movie. One of the best, linear, story focused game I've ever played, with plenty of action sequences, in terms of stealth, precision aiming, and also every now and then, a basic hand to hand.

Great game in general, but mostly unchanged gameplay mechanics makes it feel more of an extension to part 1 rather than part 2. Critics parading it as game of the year is rather mind blowing... Although the game is good, definitely not a game of the year, or multi award winning kind of game for me.

Overall an excellent game, from its world design, gameplay, and characters. Story is generally easy enough to follow, but expect LOTS of reading if you really want to get into its lore and backstory. It was overshadowed by BotW releasing around the same time, but I found it to be just as enjoyable.
