Un juego de puzzles fascinante por su estética, mecánicas y encantadora manera de contar historias. Tira hacia el lado difícil pero beneficia al jugador experimentado y la frustración tiene recompensa. Vine por tetas y me quedé por pancakes.

The plot, of course, is purely for show, just to be there, but since I love the theme of monster-girls - this is a separate like from me. But seriously, for a free game, it's a well done job. And the art-stile, and the puzzles, and the ability to skip "for the most impatient". They are good too. A little nervous last episode, but it is not very difficult. But the episodes of the extra chapter, in which you had to run from lasers against the clock(not steps counter) - I would not call the merit of the game. The first few were interesting for me, but the last one stood out from the rest of the fun game by being too demanding of a reaction. However, this is an EXTRA level, right? In the end, if this is a free game, or was for a dollar - definitely yes. If it cost a little more - I would advise you to think about whether this is really what you need.

un puzzle game interessante e ben studiato e con una longevità non estrema ma che per la complessità dei puzzle riesce ad allungare i molto la durata di gioco, il mio voto è 8,5/10 lo consiglio

I personally love the artstyle and soundtracks. The gameplay never got boring to me, i always found myself returning to the game even after ive already completed it countless times before. Only thing i dislike is how characters dont have much depth and personality beyond whats shown in the comics and game

helltaker is great. a good puzzle game with good post game content, although my goldfish brain did have to use a walkthrough for some of it. my favorite part was the justice section, 7/10

This is a clean, simple game with not too much content to offer. However, everything within the game is worth the player's time to experience. The characters are well-designed, the music is hypnotic, and the puzzles are fair and logical. The final sequence also offers a bit of a challenge to serve as a conclusion.

Helltaker es un juego bastante interesante. Cuenta con unas mecánicas tipo puzzle muy entretenidas, pese a no ser algo del otro mundo, y la dificultad sin llegar a ser extrema es difícil, por lo que el juego supone un reto. La trama es simple a más no poder, aunque no necesita más, y la banda sonora y el apartado gráfico son muy destacables y te atrapan a la primera de cambio. Ah bueno, también decir que el juego está en inglés pero, que si quieres, puedes descargar un parche en español por internet dado la fama que ha tenido el juego. En resumen, este es un juego corto de dificultad considerable que te hará pasar un buen rato si te gustan los puzzles. A parte es gratis, así que si te llama la atención no pierdes nada por darle una oportunidad.

Como diria meu mano Paulo Kogos, Helltaker é que nem a educação: overrated. O jogo em si não tem nada demais, apesar do artstyle bonitinho, o jogo não vale esse barulho todo que fizeram. A parte mais "legal" do jogo foi o boss, mas mesmo assim, o jogo só é lembrado por causa das personagens, que não são lá essas coisas também. com vinte minutos vc faz um curso de como aprender phyton, vai atrás disso pra ser produtivo ao invés de jogar isso

I hate to talk about something that I wasn't even that fond of to begin with, but I'm doing this for my own records more than I am providing a trustworthy source for curious browsers. I do not really like puzzle games, mostly because there never really seems to be any real challenge, and the challenge provided is not a test of reaction time and reflex, but just a test of perception. These puzzles were incredibly simple and solutions took at most only a handful of attempts before the solution was made clear. The notable exception being the games free dlc examtaker, which was honestly just an exercise in frustration. If it weren't for the cute demon girls and the solid character design, this game would have never risen to the cult status it maintains, and as it stands, you cannot even romance or have any more than a few conversations with each demon, a genuine greek tragedy in my opinion.

I liked this game, the concept is interesting, the music is very nice and the graphics have their charm. I particularly like the extended universe that the creator gives to his work.

Game is very fun to play, till Examtaker boss phase 3... Music and art is very good. It is also very short game, which is worth to play.

Can't ask for more from a free game, the only problem is that it's short hope he makes a longer game that's similar the soundtrack has no misses, the gameplay is fun, the story is okay( can't complain) I'm very happy there was additional content that was harder than the base game god damn that actually put me in a tight spot last thing can't forget about the art style

I knew it was only an hour long so I wasn't expecting anything too deep gameplay wise, overall it was fun albeit a bit annoying at times.

Simple at first, but hellishly difficult at the end of the puzzle. And a damn sticky soundtrack! 666 demoness out of 13!

Helltaker | 2020 | PC | Played for: 3h Very simple controls, some challenging puzzles and awesome artwork and music. You can try it out and skip difficult puzzles just to see the short story unravel. If you want more challenge you can do the extra levels where pace and timing are important. Story: 8/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Graphics/Physics: 10/10 Music/Sound: 9,5/10 Overall: 9,35/10

The game is simple enough, enjoyable music, I only had trouble with level 7, level 9, and the last section.

I'm going to keep this one short and sweet. This game is amazing! First off the characters are amazingly well made even of what little we see of them. Justice is my particular favorite of the girls. The plot is so simple that you can just play the game to understand what its about. Then there is the puzzle themself I never once felt like I couldn't figure the puzzle ever time I failed I learn from my mistakes and changed how I approached thing. The Music is utterly amazing as well fits the vibe of the game super well. Not to mention but the ART STYLE is amazing the creator has such a fantastic art style he actual has started to make small comic using the characters from the series. Also not to mention this game is free! You should for sure try out this game! -Booker

Harem full of demon girls makes me want to coom. All jokes aside, it's actually pretty good. The graphics and soundtrack are cool and the puzzles are interesting. Not much in terms of narrative experience but the first playthrough was enjoyable. 8/10

It is a simple game that you can complete in 20 minutes. and it has some flaws, Bland story and characters, repetitive game-play, annoying music (Same **** loop play through entire game). only good thing here are graphics and sound design, and they are still just ok, nothing special.

Helltaker is a really good game that I would absolutely recommend. Its gameplay, while fun and challenging, really isn't all that special, but the game's characters, writing, and world are so fantastic that they easily make up for the rather unremarkable gameplay. The tagline perfectly sums it up: "Helltaker is a short ("short" as in 2 hours long) game about ("about" as in they're the primary reason to play the game) sharply dressed demon girls." Helltaker really feels like an idea for a universe/story that was created without gameplay in mind. Everything that isn't the game's core gameplay is fantastic. The characters have amazing visual designs that all have a cohesive theme and style while still giving them each their own distinct look and personality, the writing is clever and weaves a really fascinating universe, the music is punchy and catchy. The characters, though, really make this game actually worth playing. They're all funny or unique in their own way, they're all very likable and convincingly written, and they're just (in my opinion)...attractive, whether it be in the conventional, sexual sense or in the artistic sense. While characters like the eponymous protagonist, Pandemonica, and Azazel are not as what I would label as traditionally "hot" as some of the more obviously waifu-baity characters like Cerberus, Lucifer, and especially Modeus, their designs are simply appealing to look at. They're eye-catching, memorable, and really make the characters pop with personality and flair. Back to the gameplay, and what I said at the beginning about it feeling like the universe was conceived before the gameplay. What I mean by this is that the gameplay is so simplistic and rudimentary that it could easily be attached to any game, it has very little to do with Helltaker's story and theme. That, in combination with the game's extreme focus on its story/ characters, the provided ability to skip the puzzles to get straight to the dialogue, and the numerous lore-expanding comics the game's creator has posted on his Twitter account post-launch gives me more confidence in my theory. It seems like he wanted to make something more along the lines of a webcomic like Homestuck than a video game. Helltaker would make for such an amazing webcomic or animated sitcom, the characters have so much comedic potential and the world desperately needs some fleshing out. I could be (and probably am) wrong, maybe he did make the game alongside the universe and it just isn't as good as the story (I believe it's his debut game, so this could be the case). As for the gameplay ****'s alright. Helltaker is a very short Sokoban puzzle game, and by short I mean SHORT, as in 2 hours long short and only having ~10 levels. The puzzles are all fun and challenging, despite being so basic. They manage a similar level of challenge to Baba is You, which is impressive considering that Baba is You is a masterpiece of puzzle design, though unlike Baba is You Helltaker never really introduces any new mechanics, the only things you'll see are keys, spikes, stones, and skeletons. Grabbing a key breaks blocks with locks, spikes alternate between being active or not on every turn and drain an extra turn when standing on them, stones can be pushed around, and skeletons are basically just stones that break when pushed into another object. The final boss DOES change the gameplay significantly, it's a really cool bullet-hell segment that involves dodging attacks and destroying weak points. Like I've said, it's nothing special in the gameplay department. It wouldn't be surprising to see a game like this on Coolmath or Miniclip, where you can often find games with more substantive gameplay. If you choose to play this game (which you definitely should), you're playing it for the cute girls and fun writing, and you just happen to get a pretty fun but ultimately average Sokoban game to go with it. I honestly wish the game was longer so there were more opportunities for interactions with the characters, they're THAT likable and fun. They totally carry the game and bring it from a forgettable, albeit somewhat fun puzzle game to a forgettable, albeit somewhat fun puzzle game with one of the most interesting and memorable casts of characters and stories I've seen in a game in quite a while. I think Helltaker has a lot of potential, more than almost any game I've played. I'd really love to see it receive a proper sequel, a game that's longer than 2 hours and has a unique kind of gameplay to call its own, something that vanripper could actually charge money for because I'd gladly spend $5-15 dollars on a Helltaker sequel if it meant the series and creator was getting the support they deserve. The game's good, the story's great, and the experience is free. Download it already, there's nothing to lose but quite a bit to gain.

Fascinating little thing. Drastic gameplay switch between puzzle game and bullet hell makes it design accomplishment and failure at the same time.

Level Design e direção de arte muito bons também. - Por ser primeiro jogo da developer, eu diria que foi um ótimo começo - O grande problema desse jogo acaba sendo sua duração que pode levar 1h ou menos para se chegar ao fim, com pouco conteúdo para um new game.

An extremely fun game with great visuals & music. Though it can get slightly frustrating at times; the ending being an example. It is still a great game worth the it's asking price.

Es divertido y con una buena dificultad El argumento es sencillo, nuestro protagonista un día se despierta soñando con algún día tener un Harem de demonios... ese mismo día decide atravesar el infierno e ir resolviendo Puzzles para lograr su cometido. Los Puzzles son muy creativos y tienen una buena dificultad ya que en eso se basa el juego y su duración (mayormente), para convencer a estos demonios debemos ver sus actitudes y personalidades para "ofrecerles" unírsenos, estas secuencias de dialogo vienen al finalizar cada tramo, en el caso de fallar debemos repetir el nivel para nuevamente dialogar con el o los personajes y dar la respuesta correcta. El Final Boss es decente y si hay algo que destaca por sobre todo es la música, sencilla y dinámica (además que los personajes se mueven al son de la misma), lo único que se le puede reprochar es que es muy corto.

Fun short game. It gives you a good time and the game itself is not too empty because there are few good puzzle levels. Great art at background and characters, the art concept is really stylish and iconic. I would love to play a sequel.

- Poniéndonos en la piel del protagonista nos levantamos de la cama y... sorpresa, tienes un sueño, tener un harem de chicas demonio. Toda una locura y algo que parece imposible. Pero con el humor y absurdo del juego rápidamente te das cuenta que todo es posible, así que bajas al infierno mismo a cumplir ese sueño, y aquí comienza del todo nuestra aventura. - El aspecto jugable y gráfico me parece casi perfecto, no soy mucho de puzzles, he tenido que pensar bastante pero siempre ha sido gratificante llegar al final. Simplemente tendremos que superar una serie de obstáculos (pierdas, pinchos, esqueletos...) para llegar a la chica demonio del nivel y conquistarla. El único inconveniente y mayor sorpresa para mi se encuentra justo al final. La curva de dificultad sale disparada, y de puzzles cambiamos a un juego de reflejos donde esquivar es lo más importante. - Con todo esto, y una música más que decente apruebo totalmente el juego. Además es corto y fácil de sacar al 100% con todos los secretos.
