It's a solid and hard game to be honest. But it feels dated because of unbearable physics. The storyline is nice through.

I think it is a great **** story is fine. It was interesting to see a mix of Lovecraftian and Frankenstein lore. The characters were memorable. The Eldrich horror was tangible. The gameplay was easy to navigate. There was enough variety of things to do, except maybe a couple, such as the doll. Even the non-negotiable punishments, such as the rope and first coin tossing into the fountain, are acceptable. There are problems, such as necessity to check every inch to get teeth and coins. Also, there are loop holes. More notes and more dialogues could fix the issues. Also, the final boss for S ending could be nice.

It was a great disappointment. The story and voice overs are fine. The music was also great. Yes, the gameplay and progression were boring and repetitive. The real issue was turn-based part with fights. It is buggy and an absolute RNG disaster. Also, the world building is kind of bland.

It is surprisingly a great game.
Pros.: the story, design, puzzles, music, aesthetics and choice-making. Cons.: did not notice any. Even "bad" ending and requirements for the good one seem adequate.
I especially liked the bad ending music score and a blend of Giger's and Bersker artwork.Recommend to everyone!

What I liked in this game? Music (the best part), smooth gameplay, Miami Hotline style, cyberpunk aesthetics, color palate (surprisingly, even though almost everything is red), South Korean and Chinese language. What I didn't like? The world could have been developed better - the city, characters, exploration. Levels are repetitive.

Well. I can't recommend this game.I am from the generation that played Double Dragon and Battletoads when they were released. I hoped that they tried at least keep the original mood and style a bit, like in Double Dragon. But it is **** game is nothing like the first one. The story is dumb. The characters fail to trigger sympathy. The design of Dark Queen is meh (especially her lines about "empowerment" and "criticism of her looks"). It is obviously made by the SJWs who tried to implant "modern standards," which are visible literally everywhere - from the cartoonish style to humor and "sensitive" characters. Thus. just replay the original and don't bother with this one. There are good sides - "surfing" and space levels present a new design of "racing." There are a couple of old tracks. But it is not enough to change my mind.

I think it is a solid game. I enjoyed it more than before when it was released. I liked the character of Niko and missions. However, I cannot recommend the game because of stupid MF imbeciles who decided to create a piece of crap called Rockstar Game Launcher. Because of that, I could not even start Bernie's Ocean Drive mission and finish the game. I spent two hours fixing the problem. If the game and developers allow this to happen, then, sorry. Avoid this piece of ****.

I played this game upon the release back in a day. Never finished. It was too hard and clunky for me. Finally, done. Yet, I have mixed feelings. The game is extremely dated. AI is dumb. Missions over repetitive. Compared to C&C and SC it is a bad game. Yet, there are many mechanics that could be used later, like cards, research and upgrade, money gaining system. Partially they were reimagined in WH40K and Ground Control games. It is worth playing for those old fans like me and those who remember 90s. But for the new generation, pass.
BTW music in the game is cool.

A very nice development of an idea to revisit old franchises and recreate older style and aesthetics instead of trying to restart them. Terminator was a good shot but this one is even better. I was glad to see familiar characters and faces, and Peter Weller's voice. Choice-making was a nice touch. There are minor issues like lip synchronization and physics. But overall, the game deserves its existence and time.

It's decent game. Pros.: characters, lore, story, upgrade system. Cons.: sometimes feels imbalanced. Some missions and choice-making do not make sense. Later missions were easy, while mid-game - very hard. Maybe it was the problem of how I upgraded my units. For WH40K fans it is a must-play game.

Feb 3, 2026
Honestly, I tried to like the game but failed. I am a big fan of Lovecraft and especially lore around Hastur. However, this game is short, raw, unpolished, glitchy and extremely dull. There could have been more psychologically heavy storytelling, revolving around the combination of theatre, writing, and fine arts. Sculpture part is short and underdeveloped. Composer's part is boring and unconvincing - where is the music? Where is her inspiration? Where is at least melody that should not be listened? Etc.Thus, it is a rare case I leave a dislike.

Man. This game is bloody **** is extremely hard even on normal level. It forces you to save scum and replay. Some missions, even crucial ones, are simple after a while. But the last one is a crazy challenge. You have to think which knights to use, to hire, to return to Titan, how to retrain and so on. All of it reflects the lore of WH40K and inevitably suffering, loss and defeats to win. The story is cool. However, the weakest points of the game are repetitive music, boring as hell, repetitive lines (which should be disabled if possible), slow speed (need even higher increase of quick battle, and, of course, repetitive maps. Just boring very quick. Enemies though are getting more and more interesting and OP.

If you like DC you will like the game. The only problem I had with this one - it felt less complex as the first one. Everything was predictable and even bland sometimes. Those cocky lines... There was a lot of criticism about this game throughout the development. But I will be honest, I liked it. I liked the style, the variability of characters, Easter eggs and secrets. I liked weapons, and especially reload system in the third episodes. There are many references to the past FPS games, like Quake 1, 2, Doom, etc. The weak points of the games are the story - more screens between the missions about the events would have been a plus. Level design of episode 2 is not the best. Third episode is too short. Music is decent. At the same time, I feel there is some potential to develop the franchise into separate characters and also update the existing game. Good luck!

It's an interesting game to dive into, to explore, replay, try new roles, experiment with the ships, trading, etc. etc. etc. There is so much depth. However, it did not click in me and I just decided to progress with the main storyline and depart from it. One of the greatest projects ever. It allowed to dive in again into the classics of adventure puzzle games. When I was a teenager, I only beat TR3 (with cheats). It is a good game. I liked the story and Biblical annotations. At the same time, the game is quite imbalanced closer to the finale. The bosses are much more difficult. If you die and lose your bonuses you gained beating clay dudes, you'll be screwed. To research map was nice. But I think the backstory and more lore is required for each of them. Like in Salt & Sanctuary as an example. Anyways, even though did not like it more than Ender Lillies, I think this project is worth playing as it resembles that one.

Alwa's Legacy5
Mar 11, 2025
One of the few times when I do not recommend the game. There is the principal reason for that: absolutely idiotic instances when you have no introduction of what to do and how to navigate the map. Usually, there is a character who gives you a hint or who asks to help, rescue him/her, navigate, etc. There could be a sign, bones, monster, or something else. So many options. But Catacombs, Castle (with gravity swap), Flooded Castle, etc. Nothing at all. The design does not imply freedom, how it is done in Environmental Station Alpha, Hollow Knight, Timespinner, etc. The game tries to be more serious than very neat and coherent Alwa's Awakening. But these small hints (that can be less visible btw or as puzzles) are absent. The issue with the drowned guy is even worse. Tbh I didn't even notice the guy until I hit the water level raise and SAVE. Why to save? You have an assisting mode. I finished the game. Yes. But will never play it again.
