Everybody's Golf VR
The physics system is convincing, but VR implementation is as lackluster as the amount of content.
With simply the best graphics on the PS VR and realistic gameplay, Everybody's Golf VR makes you feel like a real golfer. It’s a bit too difficult considering the game’s casual appeal, and sadly there is not enough content to keep you swinging your club. The lack of a mode to play against an AI opponent is a critical miss.

Expect the usual Everybody’s Golf experience, and we’re afraid you’ll be disappointed. Instead, wood you kindly expect some great VR golf that’s impressively deep and very addictive. [Issue#164, p.94]

This game is pretty incredible. If you like golf buy this game. The only problem so far is its a bit blurry on my PS4 Slim. I need to get a PS4 Pro... And the game doesn't have multiplayer.. The gameplay is so good that I still have to give it a 8/10

I always loved golf, I don’t know why. I like Everybody's Golf VR because it is easy to play, it has beautiful views, and very cute caddies: Rico, Lucy and especially Gloria. A great way to relax after work.

I really enjoyed this game. It is worth the time to download the demo and give it a go. The feel of the club in your hands isn't really there, and a little force feedback would have been nice, (for that "hit" of the ball). But otherwise, a fun experience.

I was really surprised by Everybody’s Golf VR, in the most pleasant way possible. Not being a golf fan by any means, I thoroughly enjoyed what Clap Hanz has done here. If you have a VR, I highly recommend this title, even if you don’t like the actual sport of golf, you will have fun here. It may be a little skimpy with content, but that shouldn’t stop you from checking this one out. This one definitely should not be missed!

Because of the lightness in content, Everybody’s Golf feels like an early access version of the game. At least the game is priced accordingly. Fortunately, the paucity of content is offset by the strong technical and gameplay aspects of the VR presentation. Further, the VR mode really captures the finesse of setting up a shot. You can take practice swings which will project how the ball will fly before you switch to address mode and ‘really’ hit the ball. Everybody’s Golf VR is another shining example of a VR implementation of a game that has to be experienced to feel how immersive it is.

An immersive masterpiece for all. Read the help files on play technique for both real-life and cyber players only. The preponderance of negative comments generally seem to come from those in the learning phase...a modest amount of time and attention paid to swing technique will glean rewards. Incredible **** golfer and non-golfer alike!

You can get a feel for Everybody's Golf VR in a few short hours, but if you're anything like me, you won't want to move on quite so fast. It's an earworm of a game. Just thinking about it makes me want to dig out my PlayStation VR and clear the room. That's no small feat.

Worth Playing
Everybody's Golf VR feels like a good first step in getting the sport on to a new technology. Once you get used to the controls — specifically controlling the shot direction and amount of power needed — you'll find the game to be very immersive due to its presentation. It may take a while to unlock everything, and while the number of courses isn't as abundant as the older games, there's still enough here to keep you coming back. The lack of multiplayer is a disappointment, though, and the repetitive lines from your caddies can be tiresome, but Everybody's Golf VR is still a game that'll make you spend more time with your VR headset.

Everybody's Golf VR takes videogame golf to a whole new level. Although the fact that the gameplay is amazing, makes the lack of content it even more disappointing. Given the relatively low price tag, the number of courses is acceptable, but the lack of online play and even single player tournaments hurts the overall enjoyment.

Colourful golfing action with a fascinating complexity to each swing – and a stealth workout – but relatively few courses.

This is a fantastic vr golf game. If only it had online multiplayer it would be perfect. Perhaps they will patch it in if it sells enough?

It’s a lot of fun but sorely needs multiplayer modes, and it’s hard to understand how they released it without ANY. Basically, a decent multiplayer mode and maybe a couple of extra courses and this would easily score a 9.

I tried to adjust the camera angle at least 100 times, and no matter where I put it the game did not pick up where I was, I had to basically lay down for the game to pick up that my club was on the ground, you have to move all over the place to get to the ball when I have no idea why the developers did not put the option for the ball to move to you, I would literally stand right in front of the camera yet would have to move all around my room because the ball would position 5 feet in front of me, when the camera could see my motion controller it would tell me I’m not low enough to hit the ball and would continue to hit over it time and time again, very frustrating game to play because it seemed no matter how many times I tried to fix the camera angle it would never be right. The one solution to this, and it blows my mind it was never implemented, is just have the ball adjust to you, wherever you stand it moves under you. 0/10

SummaryStep on to the course like never before in the most immersive Everybody’s Golf experience yet! Swing for the flag with your PS Move motion controller or DualShock 4 wireless controller. Play through three incredible courses, practice your putting on the green, or tee off at the driving range to perfect your swing.
