The four games in this collection may not be the most famous out of the Dreamcast line-up, but they cover a broad field of game types. If you can overlook the awful main menu, you get a lot of good games for just a few bucks.
A really sad collection that's just trying to milk money out of the Dreamcast brand and nostalgia.
The lack of actual Dreamcast versions, the utterly pointless inclusion of Sega Bass Fishing, the nonexistent nostalgic extras and the lack of effort in presentation all make Dreamcast Collection an unfaithful representation of the glorious Dreamcast era.

not interested in any of the games besides sonic adventure, so that’s the one I’ll review. It’s a good game but it is overrated. The level design is good and the bosses are decent. The biggest problem is the fact that this port didn’t add anything or update the graphics. We’ve seen from games such as sonic unleashed and generations that the 360 can gives us pretty good graphics so there is no excuse for the game to look as ugly as it did originally.

What happens when you grab good games and put them together in a disc with almost no additions and crappy menus? Well, this is the result. The games are fun, as they have always been. The real problem here is the lack of any effort. So many things could have been added to compliment the gameplay, or tweaks could have been made possible, but no, there is not any of that. If you want to play these games on Xbox 360, then I would recommend you to play it from the Xbox 360 arcade instead, you would not lose anything new.

This game is ideal for the typical SEGA or Dreamcast fan. However, the only game I have a problem with is SEGA Bass Fishing, which was utterly boring and unfun to play. Sonic Adventure was decent, but it wasn’t terrible. As for Crazy Taxi, it was fun top,ah, but got repetitive after a while. As for Space Channel 5 Part 2, it was the only one of the four that made me want to play over and over again, and I phrase SEGA for it.

It's a little small, and most of it is available individually through XBLA or Steam, but what's here is gold.

After all these years, Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5: Part 2 and SEGA Bass Fishing are still pretty good. It's a shame that some of the games have a lot of mistakes in them due to their old age. But for only 29,98 Euro you can buy yourself a piece of history.

Argh, these people need to get their nostalgia goggles off their heads. The games are PERFECTLY FINE. I think they are a decent enough collection, and if you thought it would be as huge as the Genesis collection, one word; space.

Worth Playing
While it would be easy to slam this Collection due to all of its alterations and lack of optimization, the very fact that these games are on a disc instead of being lost to the digital download ether is a huge plus in its favor. If you still own a Dreamcast or have the means to get one (they're cheap and the games featured on this disc, aside from SC5:2, are even cheaper), this title is hardly the best option unless you're a fan of saving work and consolidating game collections.

Dreamcast Sampler would have been a more apt title. After putting together the wonderful Ultimate Genesis Collection and the stellar Sega Ages line, it's hard not to feel like Sega dropped the ball with Dreamcast Collection.

A weird and over-priced collection with a strange selection of "classics". Nothing has been done to polish the games up, either.

A really small collection without any of the greatest Dreamcast Games. Space Channel 5: Part 2 and Crazy Taxi may be interesting if you haven't played them before (or the far superior sequels to Crazy Taxi). But they good games are cheaper to buy via Xbox Live Arcade directly instead.

With the Dreamcast Collection, Sega finds yet another way to disappoint their fans. Instead of releasing a comprehensive disc full of must-own games, this once-mighty company chooses four games at random. Throw in some questionable design decisions (like not being able to switch games without exiting the disc) and you have one of the worst compilations I've played in years!

Ugh. This was such a goddamn let down. The games on them were great, sure. But the fact that the ONLY new thing on the ENTIRE DISC was a crappy menu with low-res backgrounds and rehashed music was a real kick to where you find it hurts. There's not even any new achievements. They all have their XBLA achievements, and Crazy Taxi has the same awards. I thought I was just thinking oddly, but when I got bored of SEGA Bass Fishing I wanted to quit and try another. Only thing is; quitting a game quits the DISC. That's when it hit me - these games ARE their XBLA titles. Not even a single new thing, just a menu. A downright **** one. If you can't get the internet, and you want some XBLA goodness, give this a shot. You MIGHT enjoy a couple of these games. If you have Xbox Live; get those instead!

How can Sega call four games a collection? How can this represent the amazing feat that was the Sega Dreamcast? To release content that was already available on XBLA was either an incredibly stupid move or a greedy one. Lets hope that Sega rectifes this abomination and gives us something that will truey give this console the great respect it deserves.

Way to make a good first impression, Sega. 4 games- two of which are already on xbla/psn, a sequel to a series no one in north america has played before, and....a fishing game. Without the fishing controller that made it fun (at the time). Of all the awesome DC games that Sega made they choose these. Pathetic.
