Batman Begins

Longtime Bat-gamers can consider Batman Begins the cave-engineered antidote to the Bat-crap that's been dropping on consoles in recent years.

With a completion time of under eight hours and a few half-decent extras, one has to wonder if Batman Begins was essentially targeted directly as a rental game.

At least it's easy on the eyes and ears: Batman Begins looks remarkably good, from twilight environments that make for a spooky Gotham City to some surprisingly impressive character models.

As a whole, the game was a little short (six hours), but it's still a pretty fun ride despite the fact that it is not the definitive Batman game we've been waiting for. This game ain't the greatest in terms of freedom and linearity, but I'll still take it over "Spider-Man 2." No doubt.

An above average game that could have been so much, if only it was a little longer and a little larger.

Everything about this game is top notch, except for the game itself which is altogether terrible.

I played this game so much as a kid. I think it’s still a really solid game. Arkham games are much better by comparison but this game definitely inspired those games. It’s worth playing if you still have an Xbox or PS2. Most of the actors in the movie did the voices for their characters as well. Some good performances, some not so good. But I appreciate that they’re there. It makes you feel even more connected to the movie characters imo. Like Tobey Maguire for the Spider-Man games.

One of the few good Batman games outside of the Arkham games. Solid gameplay with great graphics and voice acting.

This game still holds up as far as graphics goes. Very fun to play. It's nice to hear all the actors from the movies reprise their role in voice acting.

An enjoyable Batman game that plays like "Splinter Cell". As the Dark Knight, you'll sneak around, climb obstacles, perform stealth attacks, pick locks, glide and brawl. At certain points, you can use a few strategic actions to frighten enemies. During the Batmobile levels, you'll ram enemy vehicles as you race towards the destination. The gameplay can be a little basic, but it's still fun. On the plus side, the graphics are solid and the unlockable content increases replay value. Overall, I would rate this with a 7.5 out of 10.
