This good-looking homage to the Donkey Kong is a fine addition to the endless-runner genre, but don't go expecting any daring innovation to accompany those lush graphics.

Endless runners are fun and the vibrant Banana Kong is no exception. Still, without repetitive reminders of missions, the game never elevates itself to a more addictive experience. Banana Kong shows how important it is to always dangle a reward in front of the player. Without it, all that running is monkey business. No offense, Kong.

Definitely not a surprise and quite simple. Maybe it's not very original, but we'll find here a reasonable amount of fun and platforming for a reasonable price.

the game was fun and the gamplay is somewhat thrilling but theres nothing to great or another reason to keep playing the game

Yes it's another infinite-runner, just with a Donkey Kong-esque theme, but it's still provides enough entertainment to be worth a recommendation. The things you would expect to find from an infinite-runner, like an emphasis on completable tasks and collecting currency in game, are all here, but with a larger emphasis on platforming and a healthy difficulty level. The platforming helps sell the Donkey Kong theme. I really can't tell if you if it's paying homage to the series or just ripping it off, but it's theme is made better thanks to the great graphics. It's not the most original game out there, but it does enough unique things on it's own to be worth a recommendation. It's a simple game and not one that is going to be very impressive to anyone who's experienced the genre already, but it's still fun. Overall I give it a 7.5/10=Good.

It's tough to resist the charm of Banana Kong and while it's never going to be as exceptional as the Donkey Kong Country series, it's a warm, Endless Runner focused alternative.

Featuring slick cartoon graphics, upgradeable power-ups, and a multi-tiered playing surface, Banana Kong is a light-hearted addition whose fruity stinginess is its biggest fault.

Don't let the game's stinginess scare you away, however. Banana Kong is a great-looking endless runner with a fun soundtrack and addictive "one more time!" gameplay. It might make you go (wait for it … wait for it) ape.

There are other endless runners that have done it all better, faster and with more polish.
