I enjoyed the gameplay and story is interesting, music is amazing too. But I got slightly bored of the same rinse & repeat gameplay loop. Dungeons do get difficult and it drags a little than I felt it should. Love the art style very much but felt that's a bit too much thrown at you that it can be a little overwhelming for me, I personally prefer cleaner menus. But I appreciate the work gone into this game.

Most generous gacha game I've played so far. Enjoyed it even though I don't spend money on it and loving the variety of outfits on the characters.

Had a blast with this game, very enjoyable and fun and Astro is super adorable! However the most glaring and disappointment is that there is not a single Final Fantasy cameo despite FF7 being one of the key titles for the PlayStation 1. Such a big miss of opportunity. I hope we get to see some FF appearance in future DLC.

A very special game close to my heart as it's my first FF. I love the story although I felt it could be told better. Love the open world, except it can felt a bit empty and chapter 13 onwards felt like it fell off a bit, but it made me teared a lot at the end.

The mechanics are simple and the gameplay is short, and it isn’t not overdone; they mirrored what a real cat is supposed to be. The cat doesn’t have superpowers or special ability, the way it moves is natural and beautiful, like how they are so nimble and can squeeze through small spaces and jump to higher ground and land on their feet. You also get to do cat things like scratching stuff, push and break things and just make a mess wherever you go (I find that fun although it adds nothing to the game) – it’s just plain and real-cat feeling, I like it.

An enjoyable game to play especially with friends over. I'm not into platform games, but this one is genuinely fun.

Giving it to the amazing visuals and lighting. The game felt like a boss rush, I kept fighting enemies over and over, there's little dialogue, uninteresting plot and the invisible walls are annoying. Best played with Chinese voice acting. But good attempt for the studio's first AAA game.

What I really like most about the game is the gorgeous open world; the amount of details the developers put in are amazing - such as the liveliness of a town, how the world is beautifully depicted with good lighting and sunset, trees swaying under the rain and wind etc, I love it so much that I can just keep running around in the world doing nothing. Skellige is my favourite, it was such a breath of fresh air after going through the depressing Velen. The main story was alright, I admit I didn’t understand some of it because I didn’t pay full attention to all their heavy dialogue and also I did not know most of the lores behind the characters prior to this game.

Beautiful music and world. Story was interesting too! It felt like a movie most of the time when we're on the cut scenes though.

I rarely platinum games and this was the first. I really enjoyed the combat, music and characters. Some padding for sure, but everything else is wonderful. Giving this a 9/10 as Rebirth is the 10/10.

Gameplay is okay, story and character isn't as interesting as I hope for. Everything is beautiful though.

Story is simple and nothing complex, dark vs light, I liked it. It makes you look forward to the next few sequel. The camera angle is the worst enemy 9f this game xD

I wasn’t super impressed with the pixel graphics when I first check out Undertale’s trailer, but they honestly grow on me as soon as I started the game. The music, the writing and the characters stood out to me the most. Though there’s not much side exploration to the game, I love going around interacting with the monsters and items I find. The comedy aspect is surprisingly well done, I had some good laughter playing it and there were also emotional moments as well.

I really love the game (the exploration, the side quests, the mechanics and great casts of individuals etc) though the overall main story doesn’t do it for me very much.

The game is linear which I didn’t mind at all, linearity somehow works for heavy story games. The world does opens up a tiny bit close to the end of the game but I’m so used to just going forward in the game I didn’t really explored/revisit any city after it opens up. It does gets grindy as you progress and some of the battles are actually hard. Overall, I think the game has good pacing, amazing story writing and incredible soundtracks (except that *annoying* one in that particular dungeon), good cast of characters and the colourful world of Spira is beautiful.

This is definitely one of my favourite FF. The game imo is a piece of art, loved it from the start to the end. The music in the game is perfect and it compliments to its world and characters very much. Vivi forever.

My favourite childhood game of all time and the only Pokemon game I completed my Pokedex. The battle frontier itself was the best thing.

Great game, very different from other FF for sure but I enjoyed the change. The pacing slowed down a lot halfway through and while most side quests expanded the world I find them to drag a little. While the combat is fun and grow in complexity over the game, I felt it gets tedious at times due to the lack of variety, and not as in-depth like weapon switching. There are no enemy weaknesses so anything goes, therefore it feels like you're just button meshing through the Eikons mostly when the battle drags too long. Probably a reason why I don't want to play it in hardmode (for now). I think FF7R's combat is still the perfect balance. I'd still love to go through the whole FF16 story all over again though. The visual for this game overall is phenomenal, especially the Eikon fights, they are amazing and fun. But I find some of the combat too flashy, the final boss had too much going on screen and i can't even see what's going on in the fights

This game is peak. Don't let nitpickers and negative review affect your perception of this game - it has its flaws, but the good outweighs them all. You can clearly see the love poured out into the game, I'm blown away by how much work went into it.! I love the exploration, the music, the visuals, the world and especially its characters - each of them felt real and relatable, voice acting is top notch too! There were several occasions I laughed so hard and moments where I gasped in awe, this game is so magical and they balanced humour so well in their excellent writing. I finished the game yesterday and I'm invested in where the story is going, it's not the same as the OG but I'll let the devs cook and I trust they will finish it well. I'm experiencing postgame depression now, going to take a mental break and get back again to finish the rest of the mini-games and stuff. I can't wait for the finale in Part 3 and as a fan of this series, Square Enix you've outdone yourself, please keep it up!! GOTY for me!
